Pathway was excellent to work with. Hydro Boring is expensive, there is no way around that, but they get the job done and it beats the alternatives with regards to convenance, disruption and speed. 400' dig with 4" conduit at ~$18k makes it approx. $45/ft whereas the national average is supposedly between $10-$30 per liner foot according to Google. Nice people. Good communication. Adaptable to change orders.

Premier Roofing is a very reasonably priced roofer. They have done a residential home for me and a commercial building. Their work was excellent, they kept the job site clean and like I said the price was fair. Highly recommended.

I recently had Jose and crew from Premiere Roofing replace the roof on my rental. They were extremely competitive on pricing. Some times good pricing means that you sacrifice service but this wasn't the case. The job site was clean everyday when they left. No nails or stray roofing debris. If it wasn't for the new roof on the building you wouldn't have known that they had been there.

I am a fan of their work and will make sure that I use them for other projects in the future.

I did not have work done by the company but also had a really bad experience with an employee driving a company truck.

My best friend and I were skating today in Liberty Park, as we were coming up to the street intersection where everyone in the path has to cross the company truck sped up to try and beat us across but instead completely cut us off when we 100% had the right away. This cause us both to try and stop very fast to avoid literally slamming into the back of the truck. We both fell and I have a pretty painful tailbone injury and large bump on my head and possible concussion.

To make it even worse the driver didn’t stop to see if we were ok even though we and a park ranger yelled at them. Instead they sped off running the red light to get away.

Completely unacceptable behavior from any human let alone someone on the clock for a company. As an HR professional that is a huge liability for the company and I would never want that type of person in around my home personally.

I had an extremely unpleasant encounter today (around 11:35 AM) in the parking lot of Einstein Bagels on the Wasatch Front with a man driving a Premier Roofing truck. I politely thanked the driver of the company vehicle for letting me go—despite it being my right of way—only to be met with rude and completely unprofessional behavior. Instead of a simple acknowledgment, he aggressively cursed at me and told me to "slow my ass down," even though I had just started accelerating and was nowhere near speeding.

If this is how they treat people in a simple parking lot interaction, I can only imagine the lack of courtesy and professionalism they bring to their business. Seeing someone representing a company behave this way is a major red flag. I would never feel comfortable supporting a business that finds this type of conduct acceptable.

I’m so pleased with my basement remodel in my SugarHouse home done by: Built By Design Construction. I sincerely mean it!

Everything went so well - perfectly. It came out better than I ever imagined! All the crafts people/workers did a fantastic job. I never had any problems.

It was a lot of work as they turned my old sad basement into a fabulous living space! I added a new bathroom, a laundry nook and also upgraded all the electrical throughout the house.

It was a great experience and well worth the time and money. I’m sure it has added a lot of value to my home. Love it!

Justice, Zach, and Christian follow through and more importantly are expert communicators. Can’t is not a word those guys would use. The work is tops but it is the people at Built By Design that have made my experience so great. I strongly encourage anyone thinking of home renovation to work with Built By Design. You will not be disappointed by the craftsmanship but even more you will not be disappointed by people who listen and follow through every step of the way. I have already recommended them to people looking at a remodel. The BEST company I have ever worked with on anything!!

Excellent quality and the service and attention to detail was better than other construction companies I've dealt with in the past. The new owners even checked in on the job in-person to make sure everything was going according to plan and working with our schedule. I definitely recommend BBD.

Our kitchen and bathroom remodel was supposed to take 3 months. It wound up taking 6 and came in $20K over budget.
After 4 months of living without a kitchen, twenty minutes after the FIRST set of kitchen cabinets were installed, I heard a loud “bang”. It turned out to be the cabinets hitting the floor. Then I realized that they completely scratched the new floor during installation. When we asked to have them replaced, the subcontractor chased my husband out of our house screaming obscenities. Later, we learned that subcontractor’s license was expired while they were working on our home.
Aside from the surreal cabinetry drama, the other things we dealt with were contractors barging into the house unannounced after hours. I spent a lot of time arguing about cabinetry layout, flooring, tiling and even had to insist on things like sealing off the kitchen while the dry wall was being sanded. Whenever I complained, or asked for help the project manager told me to handle the problem myself.
After months of managing one fiasco after another, we decided to fire these guys before the project was finished rather than deal with any further insanity or incompetence. And then I got an angry call from the owner who threatened to put a lien on my house before they had even invoiced me for the final amount.
The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because the plumbers and the electricians were good. Overall, please, do your wallet and your mental health favor, and steer clear of these guys.

Started a project with the previous owner of built by design a year ago. The project was a nightmare from day one. Fired them in Feb. They now owe us $50,000. We have been working with the new owners, they have tried to pay us back. However the previous owner left them with a mountain of debit.I hope I don’t have to hire a lawyer.

Excellent service. They noted multiple issue some major. They also took the time to answer all of my questions. Some even outside the scope of an inspector but related to the home building process. These gentlemen Are very knowledgeable. Although I don't plan to buy another home. Since moving is so much fun. I'd absolutely choose them again and will recommend them everytime. Thank you again for all of your help and excellent sense of professionalism.

Dean & Heath helped me with my home inspection. They were very thorough and kind enough to help me understand everything about my home. Very highly recommended as well because they have all of the correct certifications that I was looking for.
