I recently used Hidden Oak Tree Care to remove three 50'+ cottonwoods that were old and slowly falling. From thee get-go, Hidden Oak were absolute pros! Tyler started us off with a great bid and explanation of the project, but every employee I've dealt with from the chainsaw runners to the owner of the company were top-notch.

Due to the size of the trees and how dead/old they were, they needed to bring in a crane to remove. Due to some unforseen circumstances with neighbors, we needed to reschedule. The guys who showed up were understanding and very easy to work with. Within 30 minutes we had a new date scheduled. Despite our reschedule they held to their bid and were very accomodating.

With how well they handle the business end of things, I'm sure you can guess how well the actual tree removal went. All of their employees were timely, worked quickly, very respectful of the property around the trees and demonstrated fantastic safety measures to ensure no one got hurt during the job.

The only small problem was a large stump slipping from the crane - the safety measures and precautions they took made sure that this did as little damage as possible (a small broken fence) which they repaired THE SAME DAY!

I would recommend Hidden Oak Tree Care to anyone who needs their trees serviced.

Hidden Oak Tree Care is a top notch company. Their crews are very professional and helped make sure we did what made sense for our trees. They were on time and did an excellent job removing a couple trees and grinding several stumps. We’ll definitely use them again for any tree needs that come up!

Michael and his crew were very professional and courteous And informative They did a really good job and was fast I had them cut down a huge tree in my backyard. my yard is pretty small I was very hesitant About having the cut tree down There's a lot Of obstacles/yard stuff in my backyard They took extra care to not hit anything or even come close to anything They're clean up with phenomenal they left my backyard better than it was when they got there I highly recommend them to anyone. they will be doing all my work for now on They are the best tree Service I have ever had.

Hidden Oak Tree Care removed some large trees from our property yesterday. They have been great to work with the entire process from obtaining an estimate to final clean up. They did all of the work as promised, were on time and very courteous. I would highly recommend them and will be using them for any future work.

Hired Hidden Oak on Monday. The employee that came out to do the bid (Tyler) was an absolute pro! We were so impressed with him that we cancelled appointments with other companies and signed with him for service. Imagine out surprise when he said "I can have the crew here on Wednesday"! The 4-man crew arrived at 8:30AM. The crew foreman, Garrett, was as pleasant and professional as Tyler. In fact, the whole crew was a pleasure to deal with. They regularly checked with us to make sure things were being do to our satisfaction. We even asked for a small favor to trim a tree that was not in the bid. In 5 minutes, the small trimming was done, the whole yard cleaned up, and they were on their way. Not only will they be our "go-to" tree service in the future, but we will recommend them to all our friends! What a pleasure working with professionals!!

Hidden Oak has done a fantastic job with my trees. They pruned three large maples and a large ash tree for me. The trees look great and they were very thorough and left my yard cleaner than they found it.

My maples were turning yellow. They are looking much better since Hidden Oak has taken over the feeding. They also took the time to instruct me on the best watering practices for all of my trees and shrubs. I would recommend them to anyone.

The guy's at Hidden Oak Tree Care are some of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to work with. They asked me what I wanted and also made suggestions that would be beneficial to the finished product. They were all very respectful of my personal property as well as my neighbors and made every effort to do there jobs as safely and efficiently as possible without "cutting" corners. I had a big job so they were there for 2 whole day's and they put up with me watching them the whole time. I was impressed how well they worked as a team which is refreshing and made it tons of fun to watch. I asked lots of questions, some of them stupid for sure, but they never made me feel like they were, I even gave Mike a nickname "Tree Fairy" which he accepted with a smile. I would HIGHLY recommend Hidden Oak to any one. They showed up on time, completed the entire job within my budget and within the time allotted. I could go on forever about how AWESOME they are, so just hire them, you won't regret it.

Amazing!! This is a great tree company that knows trees. Our crew Sean, Andrew and Sam were very professional, and knowledgeable. They did a lot of trimming, and shaping, our trees and bushes look awesome. Upon arrival they reviewed the bid and confirmed the work to be done and asked if we needed anything else. During the job, they clarified with us, and made some great suggestions. They also walked the property with us after the job to be sure everything was complete to our satisfaction. I highly recommend this tree company.

We had all the trees on our acre lot trimmed and maintained. Adam and his crew were top notch. Professional, friendly, accommodating, informative, and they did an amazing job as well as amazing cleanup. Everything looks fantastic and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended, and I won’t hesitate to hire Hidden Oak Tree Care again the next time we need our trees touched up.

Excellent communication start to finish. Got a text from crew to say they were on their way and they showed up on time. They were SO nice and polite - and the work was excellent!! I have a huge ash tree I love and they took great care of my tree. They also did an amazing job at clean up! They left my yard in better shape than they found it.
And they were done by 1230p! I thought it would take all day, 4.5 hrs is all it took. I am now their customer for life!

Very Professional and Affordable. I have used Hidden Oak Tree Care both at my home and my Work they are professional, arrive when they say they will be there and do a great job from the first cut to cleanup. Couldn't ask for a more respectful crew. I would highly recommend them for any of your tree care needs. I have had other companies take out big trees on our property over the past eight years bur none of them were as professional, thorough, timely and cost effective as the whole Hidden Oak crew. They not only gave me the best bid, but when it turned out there were additional tasks involved they were glad to take them on at no additional cost. When the job was done they cleaned and groomed the areas better than new. I'm really impressed. I know they also do tree health evaluation and treatments too and I've decided to switch all my tree maintenance and care to them in the future. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Today, Josh, Jason and Gabe removed 3 elm trees, which were very close to the house (as close as 7 feet), and up to 45 feet high. I was impressed with the professionalism and skill of the crew. I had other trees removed previously, and seeing Hidden Oak work today, I realized that the other company I hired had left a lot to "chance". Tyler, the estimator, had given me a fair price, and after seeing the crew work for for 7+ hours, I find their price even more reasonable. They gave me the best bid of 4 companies I contacted, and I could not have picked a more professional company. I really recommend this company if you care to have quality work done, by a company that this properly insured and delivers what they promised. They cleaned everything up and hauled, all of it done with a smile. Honest work for an honest price. Do not hesitate to pick this crew. Thank you, Hidden Oak Tree Care!

I hired Hidden Oak to come out and remove 3 trees in my back yard, and 5 trees in my front yard. The trees in my back yard were oddly placed and broke up my back yard in a weird, not appealing way. They removed them and ground the stumps so that the ground was nice and flat, not leaving an unsightly stump. They also cleaned up all of the loose branches and shavings so my back yard was super clean (probably cleaner than when they arrived!). The front trees were all starting to lift the gutters, sidewalk, and driveway as the previous home owner had planted them way to close to cement. Hidden Oak removed these all as well, grinding them down and leaving my front yard beautiful like the back. They swept and there was literally no trace of any cutting in the yard! It was fantastic. The crew was very professional and very kind. They worked efficiently, and all were clean and very respectful towards me, and my property. I would recommend them to anyone, and will be having them back to prune my trees every time they need it! Top notch service, Thanks Hidden Oak!! <3

Update 04/08/2021. Hidden Oak has corrected the curbing issue by having it replaced. I appreciate the speed for which they did this this. I have altered the rating to reflect their efforts. Team was scheduled to arrive 8:00-8:30 am. No show and were contacted at 9:00am and they apologized that they needed to change to 12:00-12:30pm and should have called. Then they arrived at 11:00am. Were quick and efficient, but the front loader destroyed the curbing in the yard. This was used to remove branches from last September wind storm, not even the main trees. Was just a pile that the 5 employees could have hand moved rather thay drive over and destroy property.

ETA 02/05/2021: The owners were super nice and helpful in getting this all fixed! We really appreciated their responsiveness and responsibility. Thanks so much. Changed my review from 1 to 4 stars.

The tree crew showed No care or respect for property. Extensive damage to yard and sidewalk.

These guys used absolutely NO rigging or ropes to lower tree limbs. They just plummeted MASSIVE limbs onto our lawn, sidewalk, and curb/gutter, (which was brand new - the city just repaired it two weeks ago). There are now craters all over our lawn and huge cracks and divots all over our sidewalk and curbs.

It seemed like they were just so rushed to get the job done that they just didn’t take the time or care to do things right (by rigging ropes for the branches/limbs to lower them carefully).

I’m really upset at how disrespectful of they were of our property and the city’s property.

These guys were amazing. Incredibly quick and knowledgeable. I got an estimate from them for removal of 3 pines and a giant spruce and helping my maple back to life. Their quote came in lower than the competition. The scheduling was clear and easy to set up. Removal day went swimmingly and the job was done in about 4 hours (3 times faster than I was quoted by 2 other companies). The clean up job they did was very thorough. I really appreciate the time the crew spent on the job!

Update (5/10/19): It's been a whole year and my trees are STILL cut down!

I was so pleased I had them come out again to remove a tree in our backyard. They arrived early in the morning as planned and had the tree removed and everything cleaned up in about 2.5 hours. These guys are quick and still as good as ever!

I lucked out in finding these guys to trim and remove my trees. I was going to hire a crew to manually remove my trees (climbing up with chain saws) but had to call the city to turn off the power because the trees were growing in between the power line. The guy from the city came to look, and said, "You know, tree trimmers ought to be able to remove your trees without having to turn the power off." I asked him for a recommend, and he emailed me a list of about 50 companies. I picked 4 at random and called and left messages requesting a bid. Hidden Oak was the first to call me back. They are first rate, with the latest equipment, a digitized estimate system with pictures, and everyone seems very competent. I was afraid that with their fancy equipment and boom lift, they would be expensive but they were cheap. When they took the trees down, I found out why-- park the lift in the street, send the rigger up over my house in a bucket, rigger cuts the trees, which the boom carries back over my house, drops the tree in the street, waiting guys with chain saws carve up the tree, bulldozer sweeps it up and deposits in the waiting bin. Boom. Done. And probably took about 1/3 the time other companies would take. And after they were done with cleanup (very little to clean) the street was immaculate.

Pro tip: Dont schedule them on the day your garbage gets picked up as the garbage truck may tangle with their equipment trucks.

Pro tip 2: They take credit cards so pay them with your credit card for mileage and loyalty points.

Hidden Oak tree care removed my many dead and diseased trees. They did a thorough job including stump removal and great cleanup. They were easy to work with, gave me a fair price, and were completely professional. There was never any concern about where the trees would land. They carefully planned each felling cut so that the tree never came close to the fence or anything else it could damage. Care was taken to ensure my other landscaping was not damaged. My hats off to the great crew that came on time and finished quickly. I highly recommend them for tree removal projects.
