Evan and Ethan were so great to work with. They were responsive and organized, provided a bid at a reasonable price, and did an amazing job removing my tree. It was quite overgrown and right in the middle of some power lines. They handled that very well and put everything in my back yard back in place. It was so tidy when they left. It made losing my tree a little less sad. 100% recommend them.

I met one of the brother owners as he was hanging door knockers. He provided a quote right away that was $500 less than my two other quotes to remove a huge Tree of Heaven. Evan and Ethan make a great team. They communicated well, showed up on time and did the job that was expected. I would recommend Summit very highly.

Removed a lot of branches from very high up in an ash tree, overhanging a neighbor's roof. Took great care with getting branches down without damage and were friendly and responsive to questions and suggestions while being knowledgeable and attentive to the health of the tree.

Big fan. If you're looking for people to take care of your trees and care about your trees, i.e., not just looking to hack away at it, these are the guys to call. They're knowledgeable and capable and went the extra mile. For example, I asked them to leave some of the deadwood they were trimming out of my trees so I could cut it up for firewood. I expected them to just leave the branches in the corner of my yard or something, but they actually cut it up and stacked it. Just one example of how they went above and beyond expectations. Good people.

I am very happy with Ethan and Evan from Summit Arborists. I hired them to prune a large ash tree in my backyard, and they also trimmed a few fruit trees at no extra charge.

These professionals showed up on the day to trim the dead wood off my mom's tree. They were very polite and fielded all of my mom's questions. After a few hours and a very tidy clean up our tree was looking fresh and renewed for a longer life. The property genuinly looked cleaner then before they arrived.

Summit Arborists do an amazing job. We had 2 large 50+ year old 50+ foot tall trees that were no longer viable. We were worried anytime the wind came up. Summit came in and removed them both in less than a day and cleaned up so well that you would have never know there had been trees there. I watched them work and was impressed with their safety protocols, knowledge and tree cutting skills. I recommend them over any of the other tree removal businesses in the Salt Lake Valley. We have 3 trees that are having some issues. Summit cam and provided services to hopefully save the three trees. They came promptly to our home, they were very informative and cleaned up after removing soil from the base of each tree. Fingers crossed their care for the trees will help save them. I’ve watched him compete in ISA competitions and he’s one of the most skilled, knowledgeable arborists in the west side of the United States. His passion for the trees shows; he’s not just out here doing bare minimum at his job. He truly cares for his customers and the environment and will take his time with customers to create understanding, and provide the community with the knowledge he’s worked hard for.
If you have no idea about what fair pricing is in this industry- these guys will explain everything for you and by the end of the call, you’ll fully understand you are getting amazing quality work for unbeatable pricing; and if you’re getting better pricing anywhere else- You're sacrificing the quality of work you’re paying for. Couldn’t recommend this company enough. Recommend them to anyone I know.

Evan and Ethan truly care about trees and their customers. Most tree services companies have an arborist do the bidding process and then send out a crew to do the actual work. We have a very large silver maple that needed a maintenance trim. Evan, who is a certified arborist, did the bid AND climbed the tree with another crew member to do the trimming. Ethan did a great job with a separate stump grinding project that we needed to accomplish as well. The whole crew was very friendly and professional. I will absolutely call Summit Arborists for any future tree work needs. If you are sorting through companies I would especially recommend Summit Arborists if you have a large, special tree that you want to maintain. They will treat your tree with the utmost respect and help it to be as healthy as possible for as long as possible.

We had a beetle infestation issue with our which necessitated removal. Summit came with a great plan to remove the tree at a very reasonable price. On the day of removal, their team performed exceptionally well, got the tree down, with minimal disruption, ground the stump, thoroughly cleaned up the area and were available for follow-up. This was perhaps the most professional tree service I've ever used. I would heartily recommend Ethan and Evan to anyone looking for an honest, capable, and thorough tree service.

We have a huge old tree in our back yard our family has always loved. It had a huge crack in one of the big branches. We were thinking we would have to cut the tree down. Luckily for us Evan was able to save the big branch, and the tree!!! He and his team did such a fantastic job at cleaning up the dead pieces in the tree and making it look better than it had in years!! Also left our yard spotless!! Many many thanks to these guys for their help in saving our tree!! Would highly recommend!!

Did a great job pruning 3 large trees along my back fence. They reduced the weight without ruining the aesthetic look of the tree. They were very conscientious in their clean-up and left the area better than when they arrived. Would definitely use them again.
