We had a very tight timeline to get a tree removed and they were able to squeeze us into their schedule. They even came a day early. They did excellent work and were quick, clean, and very well priced.

The quoting process was easy and they are very response.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND STERLING TREE!! Sean was very prompt to return my call and came out same day to give a bid. His response time was much quicker than any other company I had reached out to the area. Sean is very knowledgeable and being an ISA certified arborist he was even able to coordinate with the city to work on the city trees that needed to be resolved sooner than the city could get to us. We have had tree care done on multiple properties with fair pricing. We will continue using them for all our tree care!

I recently worked with Sterling Tree Company to remove a troublesome Siberian Elm from my backyard, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Sean provided an onsite quote at a price I felt was very fair. Scheduling was straightforward, and when I needed to reschedule due to a change in my plans, Sean was easy to reach and accommodated the adjustment without any hassle.
On the day of the removal, heavy morning rain delayed the start time, but Sean and his crew remained committed to the job and managed to complete it within the same day. Given that I live in a townhouse with neighbors close by, I really appreciated how mindful the team was—taking care to respect surrounding properties and ensuring their trucks and equipment didn’t disrupt parking.

Very professional. Showed up with a 5 man team and did a wonderful job. They cleaned everything up and hauled it away. They even locked up our back gate. Overall a great experience would highly recommend to anybody.

Sean and his team removed a large Siberian Elm tree from my driveway, as well as a large pear tree in my yard. They also helped with some smaller trees and did some pruning. They showed up on time and got the huge job done in 2 days. They cleaned everything up and left my yard cleaner than when they started. For such a big job, the price was more than fair and less expensive than other companies. Give them a call!

Sterling Tree Company did an excellent job cutting down two huge maple trees on my property after assessing they were too far gone to be saved(rotted). I came here to write a review of the work Sean and his team did to the trees on the property. I do not think I have ever had folks come to do work and leave the space better than they found it! Truly exceptional work & clearly know their trees. They removed some rather large branches that were over the house with ease and you can tell they all enjoyed climbing trees and rigging up their systems. The crew recommended what would be best for the trees, the property and did everything so safely and smoothly that I was never worried about a thing! Awesome group all around that clearly like what they do, like one another and care about the end result. I have elm trees that are basically weeds & it is safe to say they will be the first I call for any future work.

Sean and Sam and the crew provided an excellent, professional, and timely service. Text communication was excellent, they demonstrated an expert grasp of arborist knowledge with a tricky limb situation, and the bid of work was fair. If I had more trees, I would have Sean prune all of them.

This company and group of guys are GREAT!!! We had a pretty large job for them of removing three Siberian elms from our property, as well as one black walnut. They were in and out within the same time & price as their original estimate. Super honest and great workers. Highly recommend.

What a great experience with Sean and his crew-Jacob and Drake!! Right after a snowstorm that came in, totally overhauled my yard and nurtured and trimmed up a bunch of trees that were in great need of it and that were safety hazards. He was very clear with his instructions and they left the place nice and tidy. We've never had this done by an arborist before and it made such a difference and was so worth it! Totally recommend Sterling and Dennis with Woodruff trees who came and did the initial bid!

I just had this company cut down a pine tree in front of my house, and I go to say they are quick at responding, they will cone out and give you a price on how much it would cost before yoy scadual an appointment if you are happy with the price. After that you don't have to be home but you can be, they will come and cut it down to how you want it and they do a great job. I definitely recommend this company if you need your tree trimmed or cut down to a stump. Their prices I feel like we're fair. I was actually expecting it to cost thousands of dollars, but it wasn't. I want to say thank you to the guys at this company for doing a great job. If I have another tree that needs work, I will definitely be calling this place and nowhere else.

Underscoring EVERY ACCOLADE given to Sean and his incredible team, I’m posting this UNSOLICITED review so YOU reach out to the Sterling co-op for the same reason we did—their shining feedback on Google. Professional, punctual and exceptionally expert in ALL species, Sean & team are also true-to-core honest!!!! We WANT to give them more work, but his crew turned around declining trees at our newly purchased home so thoroughly last fall that there is no reason for them to do anything more, even after this wild, late-snow winter! Last week, we had Sean come out to assess the big picture as well as a shrub that was inadvertently uprooted in the course of having exterior electrical work done…thankfully, it wasn’t irreversibly harmed! He said he’d come back and tie it up. That he did, returning off-the-clock two days later and righting it, no charge!!!! We again had him look over our many, decades-matured trees and shrubs and he didn’t see a need for any intervention whatsoever—his co-op’s thoughtful, thorough and miniminally invasive pruning in November translated to vibrant growth and shining tree health this side of spring in Utah. Super bonus: Sean & his team are AWESOME with animals. We’d just closed on the home and didn’t know any neighbors/their pets when a lost dog came into our yard last fall—Sean dropped what he was doing and successfully tracked down the untagged dog’s human in a quick, safe and happy return. ALL-AROUND EXCEPTIONAL; I CANNOT PRAISE THEM ENOUGH!!!

Sean and his crew are extremely talented, efficient, fairly priced, and very customer oriented. I was fascinated as I watched them take down my 45’ aspen tree, take off a dangerous lead of my silver maple that was hanging over my roof, and extremely grateful for taking time to teach me how to prune my peach trees so I don’t have to keep hiring out for that work. I highly recommend calling Sean for any tree work you need, no matter how big or small the project.

Sean and the team at Sterling Tree Co. were incredible. We had a cottonwood in our backyard that had completely overgrown the space. We had tried for a few years to have it thinned as we hated the thought of removing a mature tree. The rate of growth and unstable growth pattern made it more of a risk than it was worth. The trunk was nearly 7ft wide and was only a few feet from our home in addition to the branches which put 4 homes in total at risk. It was a very tedious job with tiny margins for error. I was amazed by their ability, strength, judgment and overall skill. Their pricing was extremely fair for the scale of the project and I would recommend to anyone I know.
