Reviews of local pros in Sandy, Utah

We’ve been using Rare Breed Plumbing for years. Our service rep this time was Ashton D. and he was awesome. He investigated the issue with our leaking toilet thoroughly and even checked our water pressure to make sure that it wasn’t contributing to the problem. After he fixed the problem toilet, we had him upgrade two other toilets and a bathroom sink. I highly recommend Rare Breed.

Rare Breed worked for several weeks on our large renovation project at our therapeutic farm, The Wellness Farm Foundation in Bluffdale. They were an absolute pleasure to work with!

Greg, the lead plumber, was so kind and patient to explain things to me every step of the way. The owner, Court, works hard to make sure his employees are taken care of and builds a strong company culture based on mutual respect.

I’m so glad we went with Rare Breed!

Chandler arrived at my home at the time designated. He was polite and knowledgeable about my slow draining bathroom sink.

He was efficient in making the repair and very neat and clean as he was working.

I am very pleased with the service today.

Bensen and Thor were very friendly! They came in and out very quickly with the installation. We would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Issac swung round to do a faucet install and sort a 15+ year old bad T supply valve. Great dude to chat with, incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Guys like this are the soul reason I keep coming back to Rare Breed. 10/10 across the board.

Rare Breed Plumbing was amazing to work with. The knowledge and customer service they provide are amazing! It can be hard to find help when you have an issue with your Boiler. Other providers didn’t know how to solve our challenge. Rare Breed did!

Ashton with Rare Breed Plumbing is incredible! Flushed our water heater and checked out the plumbing in our townhome in Daybreak South Jordan. He also taught me a ton about maintenance and good practices for longevity with our water heater, water softener, hose bibs, and more. Tested our water hardness and adjusted our water softener + taught us how to test and adjust seasonally! Also recommended a water detector as a preventative measure. Excellent customer service and knowledgeable! 10/10 recommend Ashton, Court, and the team with Rare Breed Plumbing!

Dom came last minute on a Friday afternoon. He fixed 3 of the urgent items I had without replacing a single item just honest repairs that we walked me through for next time. If I could I would give give a 10/5 review. Thank you so much!

Dom and Adam are seriously the kindest, hardest working and most professional plumbers I’ve ever met. We had some serious leaks that immediately made the house unlivable, and they came the same day I called. I wish I knew about these guys sooner. Thank you to Court and Mady for such great care and guidance, and for being a trustworthy company that we can rely on for anything, anytime.
Got to see a rare breed in the wild today, I’ll be on the look out for them in the future.

Rare Breeds Journeyman’s prep class is official! Big shot out to Court man, I appreciate your help and tips to helping me journey out! I definitely recommend this class for anyone who is struggling with understanding the practical test… Court is awesome….

My experience with Rare Breed Plumbing and specifically, Chandler, was excellent all the way through. Chandler was efficient, knowledgeable, and explained everything thoroughly. I would absolutely recommend this company again.

I had a pressure relief valve replaced this morning. Chandler was a very friendly, knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything to me. Went over costs. Treated me with respect, and like I said before, very friendly.
Chandler took the time and showed the the new valve and the old one.
This is the second time I have chosen to use Rare Breed Plumbing. The service, pricing, knowledge that their staff has is AWESOME.
If you have not used Rare Breed and you need a service, give them a call! You won’t regret it!!

Isaac was amazing to work with! Kind, courteous, and felt like a friend coming to help when I’ve never met him. He really went above and beyond and I’m so pleased I went with this company for work. I will be using them for all future needs

The team did an amazing job! Thank you for sending one of your best! (Although I’m now wondering if they are all just that good as the standard)

We have been dealing with a down toilet ever since I tried to fix it myself (I ended up making it worse)

He handled a clogged drain and the toilet installation like a pro. He knew what he was doing, had the appropriate tools, and was quite personable. The sort of person you would invite over to hang out with you and your family.

Thank you RareBreed for all you did for us today. Truly exceptional service!

Had a leaky pipe in my basement. Miguel was able to come out very quickly and walked me through everything, I learned a lot! He not only fixed the issue but improved the water line as well by adding in some helpful valves. The service was excellent and I will definitely be reaching out to them next time

Huge job at my place, stenting and replacing pipe from house to road. Had to finance with them. Amazing experience! Court found something he wasn’t sure on and they re did it. Dug it out again.
Later had an issue with the cap fitting the hole in the ground and Chaz was awesome both times I worked with him. Other folks were also great. Such a good experience for a huge issue.

Love that Rare Breed added HVAC to their service offering! Daniel came today for a furnace tuneup. It was a great service call. Not only do I know more about my system which is now all pretty and clean, I have a better understanding of what I may be facing in the future as it ages.

Rare Breed is great. Exceptional service. Thor fixed our clogged drain quickly and offered a ton of good advice. Friendly and professional!!

Chandler and Parker were on time, charming and professional. I had a problem I self diagnosed. They wanted to see my whole system and found a major problem/leak I wouldn’t know about because it was in a crawl space. When they said that my heart sunk. My original quote stayed the same and I’m so thankful for Rare Breed, their honest quotes and on time delivery. I’m actually leaving town tomorrow so this was everything! Happy New Year Rare Breed! Hope you keep these guys forever because I am going to recommend my friends ask for them personally.

Very professional and answered our questions. Was very informative. We have 4 different projects for them to work on. Picture is 1 out of 4 that will get replaced. Will post completed projects.
We will be using this company again.

Chad Hedden was quick and amazing! Had a real estate deal where we needed to get a plumber out for an inspection ASAP. Rare Breed was able to get Chad out the same night I called for an inspection. They also delivered an expedited quote and repaired the items quickly once we confirmed. Thanks for helping us out!
