Most thoughtful workers ever! They worked so hard to get our boiler for a discounted price and did a perfect job installing it! Thank you Bill! Thank you David! We really appreciate your great kindness towards us!

Hillside HVAC was friendly, that’s about all I can say. All I have after a month and a half of appointments is an air return I don’t need, and a system that still doesn’t work.
I was told that my system had zero air returns in the basement, so I paid hillside $200 to put one in - only to be told by another company that I already had 2 returns in the basement and a third was definitely not needed. Hillside sent a tech out and ultimately had me pay for his mistake. I do believe this was an honest mistake. However, the customer should not have to pay for on site training.
In the end I simply could not trust hillside to provide the services I need. -
I found out about this company because somebody tagged me on Facebook. My air-conditioning was not working and I reached out. They were able to come to my house quickly and fix the problem. We are super grateful!

Absolutely horrible service. My home warranty service contracted them to repair my air condition and made an appointed. I missed work to be home. They didn't show. Another appointment was made. I called Hillside and asked them to come between 9 and Noon - they said they would. They showed up at 4 PM when I was working with a client. After examining my AC, they said there was nothing wrong with it. I received a string of alerts from my AC thermostat that the AC was looking cooling. Made another appointment. Showed up and couldn't find anything wrong. Then more alerts from my AC. Made another appointment between 12:30 PM and 4:30 PM. Showed up at 4:55 PM. The repairman examined the system and said there was nothing wrong. I asked him to reexamine and he said the condenser or compressor was shot and replaced it. Said my AC would work perfectly. Later, I received more messages from the thermostat app saying it was looking cooling. The thermostat would be set at 71 and the temperature would be over 85! I have never experienced such incompetent and unprofessional service!

Twenty stars. It’s been a long time since I had a customer experience worth noting. These guys fixed a new furnace with a creative solution I am certain no one else would have taken the time to come up with. I was abandoned by my home warranty company and another hvac company because broken part was under manufacture warranty (newer house). Seems like everyone wanted their cut how they wanted it. These guys came in and returned like 4-5 times to complete a difficult repair. They went to 9 distributors. Made at least 20 calls. Welded a solution. They didn’t try to charge me the cost of a new furnace just to up sell or make it easy for them. They really took care of our family.

Hillside HVAC was amazing! Stacy was prompt, thorough, and quick to fix our heater. A storm blew in today so we are grateful for the quick fix and to have a working heater again.

Updating this review, The manager from Hillside HVAC has had very open communication. He was able to send a different tech to my house to replace the condenser and has been calling and texting me everyday to ensure that the house is a comfortable temperature. Very responsive when I raised concerns and is taking the necessary steps to resolve our AC issue.

Hillside was contracted for me through my home warranty company. I was very pleased with the communication, honesty, and promptness of everyone involved.
When the tech arrived, he offered to remove his shoes, knew exactly what needed to be done, and got to it. I've had other companies tell me lies to get more money out of me. I know warranty companies don't pay much for the work they offer to these repair and service contractors. I appreciate when they will still do the job they were contracted to do.
I will absolutely request, and advertise on behalf of Hillside anytime I'm able. I feel like they did a terrific job for me. -
Hillside is top notch. Dave at the office took 30 mins one day to walk me through the issue and preventative measures. This call want scheduled and he graciously carved out time for me.
They adjusting their scheduling to help me out and were quick to respond.
Caleb the technician is honest, fast, and professional. He explained issues clearly and honestly.
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Thanks so much! -
This is by far the worst company I’ve ever worked with. They replaced my unit in July and it’s still not working. I’ve tried calling them several times and they won’t answer our calls. They never give you a report on anything they do. They just do temporary fixes and leave without letting us know what the issues are. After paying them money to replace our unit, we expected to have a working a/c. We have been dealing with this all summer and to the day, it still hasn’t been fixed. They are unprofessional and I wished we could have just gone through a different company. Save yourself the time and money.
UPDATE: I updated my review because after hearing our frustrations, Hillside sent in a a different tech and let me tell you, this guy worked his butt off! John worked from 10 am until 10 pm. He made sure that everything was working properly and called us two weeks later to check in and make sure we were satisfied with the service. Our unit has been working properly since. Thank you John for your awesome work!! -
Anyone who is interested in a heat pump owes it to themselves to at least get a quote from Hillside. Our quote was way cheaper than worse gas-only options. The technician knew his stuff and was happy to explain all the details about heat pumps when getting the quote. He also didn't try to get your business with manipulative sales tactics and it was such a breath of fresh air to experience that. I would recommend them to any friend that's looking to replace their HVAC system.

Hillside HVAC is an outstanding company to work with! Technician Bill was incredibly thorough, performing detailed diagnostic tests to identify the issue with my unit. He even took the time to show me the camera scope when he found the problem, which I really appreciated. Thankfully, the unit just needed a proper cleaning, and they were able to handle it right away. Excellent service, professionalism, and transparency—highly recommend!

Great company to work with. I had to replace my very old AC unit and furnace and Hillside made it a simple process. They're very responsive and do a great job. Bill is a hard freaking worker!

These guys are fast and beautiful. I have done several houses with them. They make my remodels like 1 million bucks..

I have had Lucent Pro come out to do work in my home with electrical and HVAC. Always professional and quick to respond.

This company will nickel and dime you every chance they get. Absolutely outrageous fees and prices. I definitely regret using their services.
-
Horrible customer service, showed up to fix fire alarms and didn’t fix anything but still charged $400 for 20 minutes of looking around. Then realized they charged us twice, and were completely unprofessional and rude. Most definitely a scan and charged us many high fees after not fixing or doing anything! Horrible company and service. Do not recommend!!

Lucent Pro Services is one of the best companies I have ever had the pleasure to work with. The service is prompt and prices are very reasonable.

This business is completely unprofessional, my home warranty sent them out two years ago. I am know getting a bill two years later to pay. They told me at time of service the warranty would take care of it all. If you get this company sent to your home ask for another company to come out.

I had a tech come out to my business on February 6th for some lighting issues.
On thumbtack it states there will be a $79 on site estimate fee. When the tech got to my business, he told me that there would be an additional $350 fee ON TOP of the $79 for him to actually estimate what is going on and give me a cost of how much it would be to fix the issue. I asked twice if the $350 was for cost of any materials to fix the issue, he said no that’s just for me look around and estimate the issue and that they are supposedly the cheapest in the area.
So again the $350 is for an ESTIMATE ONLY the $79 was for him to walk in my doors.
I paid him $79 and told him to leave.
I basically paid for gas for a week for this technician. Pretty crooked way to do business in my opinion. -
Casey did an awesome job. He was very thorough and professional at all times. I’ll will have him come back in the future for another tuneup and servicing my central AC and furnace. Great job guys.
