I can’t say enough good things about Leif Kolb and his crew. We’ve used Diamond Tree Experts multiple times for tree removal in Ogden and stump grinding. They always communicate well and go above and beyond to ensure safety and quality.

Watch the contract - make sure it includes the details of what you asked for. I hired Diamond Tree to remove branches above my house and over the neighbor's property. The estimator also said he'd cut the dead branches. I was clear about my request and pointed at the branches I wanted removed.
The contract was not very specific except for the dead wood.
When the crew arrived, they cut the dead wood (that's good -- it needed done), but that wasn't the purpose of calling Diamond Rental. I'm guessing that because they also sell mulch that they are most interested in gathering the dead stuff. I still have green branches protruding into other trees and a green branch touching the children's swing set.
The problem is the contract was vague enough to leave room for argument. I think the crew did what they were told but they refused to do the work I had called them for. I'll leave the details and pictures for the Department of Consumer Protection.
One of the trees explicitly mentioned in the contract to be cut down still has a 5-foot stump with long branches. They cut the top but didn't finish the bottom. I liked the crew but I got the feeling they were under pressure from management to rush to the next job. I give stars for the crew - I think they did what they were told by management - but no stars for the company refusing to fulfill my request.
Bottom Line: I failed to insist on clarity in the contract. That's my fault. The purpose of my call was to remove branches over my house and neighbor's house. Those are still there. I'm sure the estimator knew what he was doing -- used the contract to deflect the request to mainly dead wood.

Juan and his crew were amazing! This is the third tree service I have used, and they did the best by far. Juan went out of his way to do additional removal work for our safety. I will request Juan and his crew for future projects. Thanks again. Matt

We had several old trees threatening our roof, and Leif Kolb personally came out to give an estimate. His team did an outstanding job with tree removal in Draper. Super polite crew, fair prices, and they even trimmed the remaining trees beautifully.

Juan and his crew just finished removing a couple of trees from my property. They were very professional, friendly, and especially careful with my other plants - I was amazed how they were able to maneuver their machinery so they didn’t damage anything. Their cleanup was much appreciated; they even asked a neighbor if they could drop branches into his yard which they also cleaned up. Thank you for a job well done! I will certainly use Diamond Tree in the future if needed.

Had a complete tree removal with stump grinding with this company in Feb 2023. They didn't just do the job, they did a really good and thorough job. The price seemed more than fair for the service!

A team of 4 did the removal, used lots of different specialized equipment, and knew what they were doing. I wish I had gotten the names of the 4 guys so I could do a shout-out. I hope they are recognized for all their hard work.

I'm sharing before, during and after pictures. As you can see they did a good job grinding the roots and stump especially in a tight area between fence posts and driveway siding. I imagine our tree removal was more complicated than average because we had a giant tree squeezed between two houses, growing into a fence and under a driveway.

Very professional and so friendly. They did an excellent job protecting the rest of the property and cleaned up well after the tree removal. We are very pleased with the results! (We had Delfino’s team. They were great!!)

Juan and his crew did a fantastic job cutting down my massive cottonwood tree. They arrived on time and were great at communicating throughout the process and thorougly cleaned up.
I've loved this tree for a long time. At the time they came out for a quote, we mentioned it would be nice to have a slab saved if possible. They made note of it, and before finishing, they checked in with me to see how thick of a slab I would like and managed to save a good piece without me even asking again.
This tree had a bee colony move in years ago and we gave them a heads up. Instead of turning down the job or killing the bees, Diamond Tree put in the impressive effort to bring a bee keeper on site to consult with and took the tree section with bees still inside safely away for relocation. Thank you for saving my bees!

Juan and his team were amazing on my job. I had three huge trees, they showed up early, worked fast, and were meticulous in the clean up. They even saved a hawk egg from the nest in one tree so I could show my kids. I’d recommend them to anyone.

Juan and his crew came out and got my yard looking great! They were polite and friendly. Juan walked me through everything before they started and after they were finished. He even trimmed a few little weed trees down and helped me close my gate. They cleaned up after themselves very well as well. 5 stars and definitely would recommend.

The boys from Diamond Tree Experts Inc did a fabulous job. I had a tree in the front yard that was struck by lightning years ago and every year after that, branches were snapping off from the tree. Chris, Emet, Jay and Anthony came in and took the tree down and grounded the tree down to grass level. Chris was the lead man in charge and I would highly recommend him and his team to you for tree service. They were fast and reliable and offered to take the branch that had snapped off the tree along with its branches that I had cut and set aside on the side of the house. Thank you very much for all your hard work and you have a new customer in me.

I had an old silver maple that was half dead, a real widow-maker. My wife called Diamond Tree Experts and Jaun and his crew came out and had the tree down and loaded in less than three hours!

Obviously, it took another three hours to grind the five foot diameter stump, but six hours is fantastic! It would have taken me six months to whittle that monster away, but Jaun and his guys got it done so fast and there wasn’t a scrap of wood or root left.

They cleaned everything up & hauled every branch and leaf away. Nothing was damaged and the entire process felt so safe and professional.

We were impressed with the friendliness and thoroughness of this company. They removed two trees here at the Montpelier temple construction site. Juan and his crew traveled up from Salt lake (three hour trip) to get the job done. They were even accommodating enough to give me some of the cut tree to make a craft.

Juan and crew took out a dead spruce tree in our front yard. When he and his crew were finished, you'd swear that there was never a tree there at all! They were prompt, skilled, courteous and cleaned every pit of debris up. Highly recommend!
