Reviews of local pros in Syracuse, Utah

They were great with my landscaping rock needs. They answered all my questions and let me go out in the yard to look at all the different options. The best part is they delivered the rock that same day! Super quick, easy and affordable.

We stoped by to pick up some top soil and one roll of sod, the young man was very professional and exceptionally friendly. He helped us to load the dirt on our truck, and made our experience with this company great! We’ll refer our friends and family to The Earthworks Landscaping Company in Syracuse, the family owned business!!!!

Really happy with the professional and great attention to detail they did xeriscaping our yard! Looking forward to the plants getting big and mature! All around a great experience.

Used Earthworks for our rock and top soil. Great company to work with. Good pricing and quick delivery. Would work with them again for any future landscaping projects. Skyler was very helpful!

Through the pricing, planning and execution phases of my project each member of Earthwork's team was very responsive and cared about the service they were providing. I threw extra work at them during the job. They handled this extra scope well and charged a reasonable price. I recommend these guys without hesitation!

Earthworks made it so easy to get the rock I needed. I walked in, told them what rock and how many yards I needed and they delivered it that day. I was going to drive all the way to a competitor down by Ogden, but they were so close and their prices were better. I will definitely use these guys again. Thank you.

Earthworks is fantastic to work with! They make the entire process easy and stress-free, and their material quality is top-notch. I’ve been really impressed with their professionalism and service—highly recommend to anyone needing landscaping or construction materials in the area.

Absolutely thrilled with the work done by Earthworks Landscaping. From the initial consultation with Jeremy to the final touches with Curtis, their team was professional, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. They took the time to understand our vision for the yard and offered creative suggestions that elevated the design. The project included everything from a Flagstone path, cement work, and regrading and sod installation to new flower beds, an in-ground trampoline, and a beautiful landscaping lighting system — and everything turned out amazing.

The crew (Jose' and the guys) was on time, worked diligently, were very respectful, and left the place spotless when they were done. It's clear that they take pride in their work and really care about customer satisfaction.

We’ve already received numerous compliments from neighbors, and we couldn't be happier with how our yard turned out. If you're looking for top-notch landscaping, look no further than Earthworks. I highly recommend them and will definitely be calling them again for future projects!

Earthworks is so great! They are super easy to work with as they provide friendly customer service and are always good at responding to missed calls and messages. Also very fair priced for the rocks we ordered. 10/10 recommend!

We just had Earthworks Landscaping do almost our complete landscaping project. It turned out way better than we could have imagined! We absolutely love our rock wall they did. It looks incredible and we love it. Changes the whole look of our backyard. Manny was the Project Manager, and Ivan was the Foreman. They were very personable and always went out of their way to help explain why they did things the way they did. They also weren't afraid to give their professional opinion. I'm glad we took their advice with a few things because it turned out even better. I recommend their work, and have already referred their name! Thanks guys!

Skyler is awesome to deal with and has taken care of me twice now. They are literally up the road from my new house so it’s super convenient!!! He is also a huge supporter of Veterans!

We have used Earthworks many times for various dirt and rock. We are always impressed with the customer service and how easy the process of getting stuff delivered is! They’re always so fast to get the product to us too. We will continue to use them for all our landscaping needs. :)

This company is amazing to work with. Curtis was extremely helpful and accommodated our needs and offered advice with our plans. He was very patient and quickly responded to my questions and concerns. His team works hard and I was surprised at how quickly everything was done. We will defiantly be using this business for future landscaping projects.

I had asked if the estimator could call to walk through project details and they would only respond to me via email. Which kept pushing out the date, ended up having to go with a different company to meet our timeline. If they would have called we could have got on schedule but they didnt seem too concerned to lose a customer I suppose.

These guys are awesome!

We had Earthworks give us a bid on an entire landscaping job based on a landscape design we had worked up. They bid everything out piece by piece and let us choose which we wanted to have them do and what we wanted to do ourselves. They aren't the cheapest but they also arent the most expensive. I definitely feel that we got an exception amount of work for the price we paid.

We had them do a 100+ foot block retaining wall, an inground trampoline, grading work, flatwork concrete (hot tub pad, stamped patio, extended RV pad and other concrete paths). Our yard was originally on a significant slope down from the house which meant that if we didn't do something then the yard would not have been very useful for the family. With the help of Earthworks and the landscape design, we made it into a yard that is perfect for our family. Everything came out great and I'm glad we hired them and took the time to make sure it was done right by professionals.

Jason (estimator) is awesome to work with and we probably sent 50+ emails back and forth over the year and various projects to get everything just right. He was very informative, friendly and upfront about costs with nothing hidden or surprising when it came time to pay.

Let me just say that their foreman Emmanuel "Manny" along with their hard working crew of Sam & Maria are amazing people. Manny definitely has an eye for detail and can see how things will turn out before even picking up a shovel. He was able to make sure everything blended together perfectly and our plan for a backyard retreat really came together. Sam & Maria are some of the hardest working people I know and they worked non-stop in the blistering Utah heat. They definitely have a talent for concrete work and an eye for shaping the ground. I cannot express my appreciation for the Earthworks crew and everything they did for us.

They’re great for ordering gravel and landscape services.

We had our sprinklers and trampoline put in by them. After the sprinklers were installed they were not lined up nicely but they were willing to come back and fix them until we were satisfied. I can tell they take pride in their work and want to ensure the client is happy with the results.

We used Earthworks to help xeriscape our backyard. They had the best rates and were very professional. I was very impressed with their rock selection and ended up purchasing the white snowflake rock for our walkways and the storm grey rock for the larger backyard areas. We love the rock and they had fast delivery. We need more rock to finish the project, and Skyler was able to come look at our project and get us an estimate for free in about 10 minutes. I plan on ordering more rocks from them in the future!

We couldn’t be happier with the work Earthworks did in our backyard! From the very beginning, their team was professional, creative, and attentive to every detail. They transformed our space into a beautiful, functional retreat — complete with a stunning playground area for the kids, thoughtfully selected plants, and a design that truly complements our home. The layout feels both polished and natural, and the quality of their work is evident in every corner. Highly recommend to anyone looking to elevate their outdoor space!

New to Utah, 1st time home buyer, 1st time having a yard professionally landscaped, received bids from several landscape companies. Jason’s bid from Earthworks was itemized very thoroughly, more so than any other landscaper and came back to me the same day, beating the others by a week.. Not the cheapest or most expensive. I had the lowest priced competing company re-itemize their bid to match the completeness of Earthworks and afterwards that company actually came out to be the most expensive.

Paul Keeler (our landscape designer) helped my wife and me put our ideas to paper, and we trusted Earthworks to bring that plan to reality… Amazing transformation! Hard to dispute the results! My hat goes off to Emanuel… he was on the job site every day and was my ‘go to’ for every question, clarification, or concern I had. He didn't mind my constant involvement whatsoever, and actually encouraged it as he had a real desire to make sure that I was happy every step of the way. I would definitely request him! Thank you again! Special thanks to his crew; hard working professionals that on several occasions when I thought they might consider their efforts ‘good enough’ persisted until it measured up to a higher standard. If I sound impressed, it's because I am!

One of the photos below is the before pic, the others are the finished product after soil/topsoil, sprinkler system, concrete (drive/rv pad, entertainment area, sidewalk, curbing), rock for shed and garden area, vinyl fencing/gates, additional steps/vinyl railing for rear deck, design element in front (sitting rocks/pavers), mulch, trees, shrubs, perennials, and 6400sq/ft of sod! Couldn't be happier… thank you Earthworks!

I recently moved here from WA state. The home I purchased needed to have the yard totally torn out due to several years of neglect. Curtis and his hard working team at Earthworks spent 10 days transforming my front and back yard into a yard I'm so proud of...no more unsightly dead grass and weeds or overgrown shrubs. The sod looks great and the new sprinkler system works like a charm. I would hire them again for any future landscaping projects I may need and highly recommend them!
