Nate and his crew were so pleasant to work with. They did such a great job putting pavers in our park strip. I would totally recommend them.

Nate and his crew were very nice. I was just very frustrated by the several delays. My husband and I also asked him to grate our backyard so that the fence would be all the way on the ground and level with our neighbors yard since we decided not to do a retaining wall right now, but his team left a huge gap between the fence and the ground and made a makeshift retaining wall with trash and rocks from our yard (pics attached). We are worried that our fence is going to be at risk for sinking in the next few years and the job looks very poorly done. We will be hiring a new company to fix the issue.

After seeing the work Nate and his crew did with our neighbors yard, we asked him to come remove, landscape, and rock our flower beds.

His prices were fair, and they were easy to work with and extremely dependable.

We love our front yard so much that he's coming back to take care of our backyard.

Nate and crew did a great job on my yard. I got several bids and his was the lowest. He was prompt, personable, and knowledgeable. Overall, a very good experience. I'd highly recommend him for your next landscaping needs.

I feel that the sod they put in wasn't very good quality. It isn't very thick and was not very green.
I hired them end of March to redo my front lawn area with sod to get rid of the Bermuda grass and other weeds and have a nice looking lawn. They came in the middle of May. They scraped out my old grass area. The next day they put down a couple inches of top soil and then laid down this sod. I asked why it was so brown and was told it was still dormant and would green up in a few days. He assured me this was high quality sod from Idaho and is what he always uses. Two and a half weeks later, watering it three times a day as he instructed, it still wasn't greening up. He told me to apply fertilizer and give it more time, and that I needed to be more patient. When I asked him why the Bermuda grass was coming back through already as well as other weeds I was told all grass will get weeds and to apply weed and feed fertilizer.
I always thought the idea of getting sod was for a fast way to have a good looking lawn. I have seen others get sod and have a lovely green lawn right from the start.

I find they are the best landscapers and I have hired a few. I was listened to and my desires were followed. I was also given good suggestions to add to the Beaty. My yard front and back looks wonderful beautiful again. I highly recommend this company.

We hired Nate to assist us with the design and landscaping of our property when we built our new home in East Layton. His crew did an amazing job! We’ve had them come back over the past two years to replace bark with rocks, repair sprinklers and more. Gold’s landscaping is a very professionally ran business that does exceptional work at a competitive price. Best out there in my opinion. Me and my wife hired golds landscaping to do our yard. When we first had Nate over we had some ideas what we wanted and Nate helped a lot he gave us some amazing ideas his company did our whole yard they installed a gas fire pit, waterfall, front yard sitting area, paver area for hot tub and out back living area, rv pad, sprinklers, sod plants and trees he always answered the many questions me and my wife had and his crew was very professional and extremely hard working. I will never go with any other landscaping company and am So happy we chose golds landscaping to do our yard it turned out way better than we could have ever imagined:)

I had a significant patio project done, including the removal of an old cement patio, regrading the area, and then a 2-level, 500 square foot block patio installed, with decorative stone seating walls installed around the edges.

Nathan responded quickly and came out to give me an estimate shortly after I reached out to him. I got 4 bids from various landscaping companies, and Gold's was very competitive cost wise. I picked Golds and got on their schedule for about 2 months out.

Over those 2 months, Nathan worked with me as I sent him minor adjustments to the patio design and adjusted his bid up and down for me regularly based on what I was asking for.

They started almost exactly on their estimated start day (only like 4 days later than projected, but we had a lot of rain that week which delayed some of their projects, and 4 days late on a 2 month out estimate was very reasonable to me). They estimated it would be a 2 week job, and it took about 2 weeks and 2 days, so they were pretty much dead on there as well.

I'm really pleased with how the patio turned out. We occasionally watched the team work and noted how meticulous they were about measuring, measuring, placing, checking, measuring, and finally putting it into place. They took care to do a good job, I was really appreciative. It all looks great. They came in exactly on budget and the quality is as good as I hoped it would be.

I definitely recommend Gold's Landscaping as an affordable and capable landscaping company for hardscaping work.

I had Nathan from Golds Landscaping come out to my house to look at my front yard and give me a b Bid on repairing my sprinklers and digging out my old dead grass and putting new sod in. Nathan is very professional and his bid was competitive with the other one I received I went with Nathan and Gold’s Landscaping And they did a great job. The sprinklers are working like new and the fresh so they laid is looking amazing I would definitely recommend them and will use them again myself in the future!

I can't speak on their ability as an electrician. I can only speak to their commitment to safety. Rather, their lacking commitment to safety.

There's a funny thing about the HOV lane. The sensors have color coded lights.
Green means it read your exemption tag.
Blue means it read your pass.
Yellow means it didn't read a tag or pass.
If you have a safe following distance, then the person in front of you will not see the light flash for your car.

For many miles, I had no issue reading the yellow light that flashed for the single occupant Coates Electrical truck riding my bumper in the HOV lane. There was not even a quarter second between light flashes and we were traveling at freeway speeds.

This tells me everything I need to know about Coates Electrical. They do not care about making an unsafe environment. They will endanger anyone and even break laws they find inconvenient.

Funny thing is, I'm in the market for an electrician. The first thing I look for in an electrician is an firm belief in safety first. The second thing is one that doesn't cut corners. I do not know why they felt entitled to create an unsafe environment on our freeways or why they needed to cut corners by abusing the HOV lane. If they're not willing to adhere to safety first in public, then I do not know what you would expect them to do differently in your home.

I've read their other reviews. Seems people like to praise them for their charity. Where is their charity when it comes to giving people a safe following distance? Where is their charity when they abuse the HOV lane to steal a free ride? Using money to put on a false face of magnanimity is the problem with charity. What other ugliness would they use money (or drywall) to hide?

Live Wire was communicative, efficient, and did not inflate prices (I had 4 other bids, and they were ALL over inflated). I dealt with Chandler the entire time. He is very responsive and efficient. Day of the Job, they showed up exactly when promised with a clear picture of what he needed to do. Aiden, the apprentice was also very professional and worked very well with Chandler when installing an outdoor receptacle that had to be trenched, and on its own circuit. If you are looking for an Electrician, stop thinking and go with theae guys. I will cause them again.
