Utility Contractor reviews across the US

One of their trucks collided with my car on the 405 freeway December 12, 2016. Numerous emails back and forth but no payment for vehicle damages. Kept getting the run around and then no response. Now August 2019 and filing in small claims court before statute of limitations expires. I can only wonder if they are as responsive to their customers and vendors.

The small claims court action went nowhere since the damage amount was relatively low (less than $5000) and there were no injuries. However I know people (who know people) and I’ve been able to discourage some vendors from providing them
With contracts/subcontracts. Their reputation is relatively poor (at least in the South Bay) so it hasn’t taken much effort.

Worked with him doing locates on our property of old water lines and electrical lines ahead of some upgrades we planned. Reasonable pricing, thorough work, and was able to get to us in a timely manner.

I did a master bathroom remodel. Toni, Fady, and Danny did the electric installation for me. They did an amazing job. Pleasant, professional, and meticulous. They installed a towel warmer, ceiling lights, ceiling ventilation fan, pendant lights, and LED lighted cabinets. The installation is perfect, and the price very reasonable. The job was done promptly and as promised. I highly recommend them for any electric repair or installation.

I am a small business owner myself and I don't like posting negative reviews without an opportunity for redemption, but Robeck Electrical Maintenance earned this negative review. I inherited Robeck as a vendor when I recently purchased a commercial property. I loved that they were locally owned and operated and I hadn't heard anything negative about the company so I kept them on as vendor to service the lighting. They are suppose to come out on a monthly basis to check the lighting to make sure all lights are operating, and adjust the timer for daylight savings. Two months into service (about November of 2020), I requested a tech to come out and give me a quote to upgrade our parking lot lights from bulbs to LED's and install a few other lights. While the tech was there I noticed there were numerous lights not working properly, which they are suppose to be monitoring monthly. When I asked the tech when they last sent a tech out he kind just brushed it off. When I asked how could your company missed numerous outages, he kinda just brushed it off. Basically for $40 per month we got absolutely nothing. When I say nothing I literally mean nothing; I have yet to get the quote from when the tech came out in November and it is now the end of January, and I have called their office multiple times and left messages to speak with the owner or anyone really, and have yet to hear from a single person from this company. I highly suggest going elsewhere for any electrical needs.

Hole In One Locating did a great job marking our water line for us. They did it quickly and were very reasonably priced. They also seem like wonderful people, so I was happy to throw my business their way. I will most definitely use them for future projects if needed.

Very impressed with their speedy response and friendliness. We suspected a fallen tree in the ice storm damaged our well water pipe but didn’t know exactly where to look. After I called Hole In One Detecting they were at my house in 30 minutes and traced the line so we could pinpoint the likely source of the leak. Super reasonable cost and great to work with.

Very fast service and extremely impressed. I had a really hard locate that was a plastic pipe with no locating wire and no idea on the property where it was at. Previous owner had left some metal and pipe behind in the ground and I was worried about false readings. The 1 inch plastic pipe did not have water in it at the time and ran really close to an electrical wire. He was Very diligent on getting is accurate as possible. After he verified it three times and marking it was blue paint I dug it up. There it was, the pipe one and a half feet down dead center on the locate. The mystery of where the waterline on the 5 acres has been identified. Thank you so very much and I would highly recommend using this company.

Harvest Electric performed a change-out of the electrical panel at my residential home last Friday. I recommend them highly. Jordon (sp?) was the main worker on this project. His work was very efficient and smoothly handled all of the requisite City of SR and PG&E sign-offs.

I had several quotes to get my electrical service changed. Not only was Harvest quote less than everyone else, his price included the permit. They also facilitated the change over with PG&E. Tim brought the guys out in the morning and had everything finished and cleaned up before I made it home from work. I couldn’t recommend them enough.
