Steve and his crew did a great job removing a grown-too-large, multi-trunk maple too close to the back of our house. An additional challenge was important drainage piping a foot below the surface of the surrounding yard. Lots of climbing and careful rope work was required. From 4x8 plywood sheets first placed to protect the pipes from impact to the final hand-raked twigs and sawdust clean-up, they did the job safely and efficiently, and for a very fair price.

Steve is very very knowledgeable and professional, he knows a great deal about trees and the health of forests. He will help you make informed, thoughtful decisions about your trees and can handle any emergency.
He did a lot of clearing for me, but with careful consideration.
I had an emergency and he responded within the hour!

We can't recommend Steve and the AVA crew more highly. They have helped us bring back to life a decades ignored property through careful and efficient work. In removing many hundreds of small-to-medium trees surrounding the cabin they re-exposed the topography, bringing back the light, air and intention of the original clearing.
