If you are looking to spend $100 on a 20-minute vague conversation about landscape design theory, then Rod is your guy! If you are looking to get some work done, or at least a quote on some work, then I would not recommend Creative Landscapes. I hired Rod to propose (and hopefully) do work on a stone retaining wall at my home. Rod spent 20 minutes talking landscape design and charged $100 for the consultation. He promised me a quote on the project which I never received. I called Rod back twice and he promised me to get me a quote each time. I never heard back from Rod after him promising at least a quote. I am sure they do fine work as you can see on Creative Landscape’s website, but due to my experience I would not recommend Creative Landscapes.
We know our backyard patio project would require a good deal of creativity on the landscaper’s part. There were drainage concerns that needed to be addressed along with logistical issues. Rod and his Creative Landscapes crew really delivered. We appreciated the time he spent coming up with a vision, and then working within our needs and budget to make it a reality. They were quick and efficient in their work and made sure to restore those parts of our property where they had to stage materials or run heavy equipment. I highly recommend them.
