They did great work trimming a couple of very large oak trees away from our home. They were very professional. Worked well within the tight space, and did a great clean-up job. Would absolutely recommend them.

Alexander Tree Service gets 6 out 5 stars. They cut down a 90 foot tree that was threatening my commercial building. I got three quotes, they were not the least expensive. Calvin was the owner and he was the one who quoted the project, from the initial survey he was meticulous, methodical and professional. I hope not to have to be in a situation agin where time was of the essence but I will use and recommend Alexander Tree services. He delivered the promise on time!

Calvin and Paul took out 90ish pines from my woods in Stowe and dragged them out with Paul's draft horses.
Beyond being SUCH A COOL THING TO WATCH, it was so nice not to have noisy, pollution machines wreck the land.
It was done so quickly and efficiently - and I found myself actually missing the whole crew when they left.

We had 2 large maples at a rental property removed by Barretts Tree Service last week. Both of the trees were very big, about 10' from the house, with the canopy extending over the roof. We and our tenant hated to see them go but there were numerous large dead branches posing a danger to the house and occupants.

The work was scheduled over a week in advance giving us ample time to plan for anything that needed to be moved. The crew arrived early on the scheduled day and got right to work. It took them a lot less time than I thought it would to get the trees down and the areas cleaned up. The smaller branches were chipped and the larger pieces placed where we wanted them so we could cut and split them for firewood. The crew used large mats under the wheels of the heavy equipment so no damage was done to the lawn and their experience and professionalism ensured that there was no damage to the house.

The entire area was raked and cleaned and left in better shape than when they arrived. The final invoice for all the work was exactly the same as the estimate and that was very reasonable. I will hire them again if needed and recommend their services without reservation.

Barret’s Tree Service did an outstanding job removing my huge sugar maple. It had gotten old enough and with enough problem, branches that it was endangering my house and my neighbor’s house as well as their cars.

Isaac was very informative and discussed options with us. The team did good work tho I didn’t interact with them much. Overall we are very pleased. We understand that the shrubbery will “fill in” and will not look bare forever. Also discussed a favorite azalea and ongoing efforts to bring it back to its glory.

Recently I received an email from them for their snow removal service for my roof, after the last large snowfall my low pitch roof and rear deck had several feet of both snow and ice on them. The two workers that came brought all the necessary equipment, and then some, to complete the job in the in the time that I had been quoted, they worked non stop and did a fantastic job! When they were done I asked them if they could clear some extra snow that was not in the quote, they called and got permission and had cleaned up my snow mess and saved me hours of back breaking work. The job involved removing an 80-ft pine tree, a 100-ft maple tree, and an ash tree, all of which were extremely difficult to access, as they were located behind our newly renovated carriage house. To protect our investment, we had previously taken steps to remove any leaning or weak trees near the house. The SavATree crew began work promptly at 8 a.m. and finished around 3:30 p.m. It was truly impressive to witness, and no video could fully capture the magnitude of the task. Joe and the crew did an outstanding job. I've worked with tree trimmers that hacked away with abandon and left a huge mess afterwards. These guys were timely, professional, followed all my requests perfectly, and did an excellent job trimming as well. They took down four huge sick trees in a tight space with the crane and did some trimming for the healthy trees. I'll definitely use them again.

Had a big old maple taken down, another pruned along with a giant red oak. The team from Teachers Tree Service was hardworking and efficient, respectful of the property, courteous and clear in their communication. And the pruned trees look great! Sad to see that one maple go, but the Teachers' arborist was right: rotten inside down to the ground. Excellent work, much appreciated!

I chose Teachers tree service because they are horticulturists vs. folks that just cut trees down! They did a great job cutting a maple tree down in the middle of my perennial garden among other work. Very receptive to all of my questions, they were on time and cleaned up well.
