Susie has created the most beautiful garden outside my home where everything was all drab and dull and boring before. She's lovely to work with, communicative, and really took the time to listen to what we liked and wanted. Cannot recommend her enough!! The garden is still in progress and I can't wait to see how it turns out - will be back with pictures!

While I love to garden, my skills at design are limited. I also never thought about seasonal color throughout the year. Susie’s first consultation with me opened up so many possibilities for a garden that I would enjoy caring for and nurturing. Susie sought my input, offered options and was always sensitive to working around my aesthetic hopes and financial resources. Throughout the spring and into summer, she has created a magical environment in my backyard with designs and landscaping that I would never have thought about. Her skills and passion are obvious. She is honest, attentive and organized, managing all the elements of the process with ease. She also has encouraged me to think outside of the box in other areas of my yard. Each evening as I water the gardens or sit in their presence, I am so happy to have found Susie to help transform my backyard. My husband calls this “our sanctuary”, which is simple, but accurate. I looked forward to the watch these gardens through the seasons and to marvel at their changing beauty each time.

We just finished working with Susie on a complete redesign of our garden and our front landscape. Susie took our garden personally and welcomed our input. She knows and loves plants and how to care for them. We will continue to consult with her as our garden matures.

Susie has helped me transform my entire backyard into a beautiful set of gardens! She was able to work with my ideas for the space(really ugly) and has created multiple beautiful gardens while also pointing me to excellent vendors for the hardscape and tree work. Each garden area has a different focus; sun garden, shade garden, prettying up a fence line, foundational plantings and more. Susie was so helpful in designing my pollinator garden for my seasonal home in Vermont. Because I'm not there year-round, she focused on designing a low maintenance and visually appealing garden that I could come back to each season. Susie at Vermont Garden Design has been very helpful to work with as I seek to improve the landscaping in the front of my house. She has innovative ideas, extensive knowledge of native plants and an excellent sense of how to create balance and harmony of color and form through the seasons.
It was like Christmas in July for me when the new plants arrived! Because of the timing of the excavation work in June, Susie came several times in July to plant a whole canvas of colorful, interesting perennials. Getting many compliments on the curbside appeal. I’ll be inspired to get my watercolors out and invite my friends over to paint the garden as it thrives over time. Highly recommend!

Working with Susie has been an absolute joy from start to finish. I’ve truly enjoyed working with her and learning how to maximize the beauty of my front yard garden. My 20-year-old plantings had become vastly overgrown and in need of a strong edit, and Susie brought exactly the vision, knowledge, and artistry required to breathe new life into it. Drivers in trucks marked with company logo ignore stop signs and speed limits. I prefer to hire people with respect for my neighborhood and safety of kids, pets, bicyclists, etc

CMD helped us recover from flood in our basement. After the first call they took care of everything. We had an amazing experience and our basement is put back together better than before.

The CMD team was professional from beginning to end. Worked with us on the plan, executed the plan at a pace and manner that worked well around our schedule and staff, finished well - but not before verifying we were very satisfied with the work. We will definitely call them first on future jobs!

I called these guys at 7 or 8pm when our ceiling collapsed from water damage due to a busted water pipe, they came within a couple of hours to cut out the damaged parts of the ceiling, set up fans throughout the area to dry the reclaimable parts and returned promptly to replace and paint the ceiling after the plumber fixed the pipe.

These guys do great work and my ceiling looks better now than before the water damage occurred. It was also a breeze to get all the paperwork sent over to our insurance company. We will 100% reach out again when we have other work needed.

The CMD crew is outstanding! The first person I spoke to at CMD was Patti. Right from the beginning, she was personable and helpful. She has consistently been there to answer questions for me! The crew of guys that worked inside of our home were respectful, efficient, and skilled. They showed up on time every day. They kept our home extremely clean in the midst of a big ceiling redo! Travis checked in and made sure everything was on track. My husband and I are so pleased with the outcome of the project. I highly recommend CMD for any work needed!

Had an excellent experience getting work done on my house! Justin was super nice and very thorough. I had new kitchen and mudroom floors installed, along with other handy work done around the house. The work was done quickly, messes were cleaned up, and most importantly Justin made sure that everything was done the right way. Would absolutely use Vermont General Contracting for any of my future home repair and remodeling needs!

We had a small job that most larger companies would pass up. Kyle responded to my inquiry and provided an onsite quote the next business day. Rather than delay the job, his crew offered to work four hours on the weekend and get it done for us.

Communication is second to none. Upfront transparent pricing and frequent updates regarding arrival times for the crew. They showed up on time, completed the job quickly, and didn't leave a mess. The crew was polite and we appreciated the little things, like removing boots when entering our home.
