Reviews of local pros in Alexandria, Virginia

Santos and his crew are outstanding! I have contracted with this company for over seven (7) years for basic yard maintenance, mulching, leaf removal, and tree trimming. Always on time, highly professional, industrious, respectful of your property, and a fair price. They’re a great company, and have earned my highest recommendation.

We have been using A & A Lawnsy service for over 3 years now. Santos is very easy to work with. We schedule a bi monthly lawn service with added services like tree trimming, flower bed cleanup, and lawn treatments as needed. Santos will always remind us when it’s time to fertilize or seed depending on what our lawn needs. We have been very happy with his services and responsiveness throughout the years. Highly recommend!

Recommend highly. Absolutely the best!! Trimmed two large trees and cleaned up immaculately. Reliable and prompt. One tree was overhanging my neighbor's fence and Dana and his crew were very careful. Excellent value.

This is the second time I've used this company. They always do a great job and and very friendly. They go above and beyond the scope of the job. I will continue to use them if I run into anymore stumps or trees I need removed.

Wow, this stump grinding was so satisfying to watch. Dean did an awesome job and it was quick. The end result is there is that now there is no stubborn stump in the middle of our front yard. I love it and highly recommend Strictly Stumps. The whole process was done very well and safely, from scheduling to calling Miss Utility to actually grinding out the stump.

George and Team were amazing to work with. Highly responsive. They showed up on time, were easy to work with, and knew exactly what they were doing. They explained everything clearly and got the job done without any hassle. The plat I received was very professional. Definitely recommend them if you need a survey done!

Highly recommend! The process was quick, painless, and more detailed than expected. We got our longtime family home/property surveyed and couldn't have asked for a more seamless process. Dominion's guy showed up quickly, was very respectful, and didn't bother or require anything from us at all. Within the week, we got a copy of everything via email, and shortly after, we received 2 large blueprint-like copies in the mail.
Thank you!

I had a great experience working with Dominion. From the initial contact to the final report, the team was professional, responsive, and easy to work with. They arrived on time, explained the process clearly, and answered all of my questions without making things complicated.

So

Did a great job with our survey!

Fair and honest land surveyors. Great people and a great company.

Very reliable. They're my go-to surveyors.

The folks at Dominion have been great for me. I just gave out their number.

Marks corners with nails that rust and cracked concrete. Hazard for neighborhood kids walking by. Wont use again.

I have always had a great time, delicious food and the best service in NOVA and that’s why we always come back. Worth the drive from Arlington

Lucas provided sound and reliable feedback concerning a site analysis. He operated with integrity and offered candid expertise.

Bought a house, and are highly satisfied with the survey plat copies that were provided, and the customer service provided afterwards when I asked for clarification on a few matters. Will likely hire them to perform a monumentation survey.

Have not met any of their field personnel, but judging from the products they provided to my closing company, I would feel good about hiring them for future work.

Don’t know where to start I got myself in a big mess by not doing diligence previously to closing. George and his team were able to help me to get me. Honestly he listen an a not only great professional but I know he is a wonderful human being.
Thank you George for everything 🫶 I really appreciate.

I needed a property line marked and Dominion was quick to both get my job on the schedule and come out to do the work. The price was reasonable and the employees professional. Phone staff at the office we’re also responsive and friendly.

I called dominion about a week ago because I had some questions about the property description on deeds for two properties we own. They went out of their way to answer all my questions and gave me the information that I needed, they were very friendly. I would highly recommend this company to anybody that needs survey work done for their property.

My residential property is located on the boundary of the Huntley Meadows Park in Groveton. As an animal lover and undergraduate Biology major, prior to entering medicine, I appreciate and enjoy the abundance of wildlife that live in the local wetlands conservation area. I have been greeted by a pair of yearling deer strolling down Vantage Drive, encountered foxes and an occasional coyote in my driveway and of course, the woodchuck that lives under my shed and the rabbit family that inhabit the wood cradle on my backyard patio. Providing a safe space for wild animals that consider my home their home, while at the same time protecting the environment and discouraging interspecies predation are important considerations for me as a responsible homeowner. In an effort to better secure my one third of an acre lot, in June of 2018, I decided to add additional fencing to my property. To avoid the possibility of any boundary disputes with my neighbors, I asked Dominion Surveyors to confirm the accuracy of the preexisting iron pipe markers. Their service was outstanding. Recently I needed another laminate copy of the drawing of my lot. I spoke with a lady in the Dominion Surveyor’s office on a Monday and two days later I had two complimentary laminate copies. If you are looking for a prompt, accurate surveyor that demonstrates due diligence and professionalism in everything they do, Dominion Surveyor’s is your best choice in Northern Virginia.
