The team at Absolute Tree have been excellent and reliable. We have been relying on their services over the past ten years and have always had a good outcome. They invest in their equipment and always have sent a professional and efficient crew to our jobs.

My community has used Absolute Tree for years, on a number of occasions, to remove trees that were dying and in one case in imminent danger of falling. They've every time done an outstanding job. They come when they say they will, quote reasonable rates, and do thoroughly professional work. Their stump-grinding machine can reach further down than some of the others in the area, and that's a plus.

It can sometimes take a few weeks before a job can be done, but they're clear about it from the outset. Responsiveness and communication are excellent, and Ashley, the owner, is always on top of things.

Absolute Tree are terrific to work with and I can recommend them highly.

I had an emergency, a pine tree was rocking precariously in the wind, due to recent rain, soft soil, and high winds. The roots were exposed, and it was going to end up falling in the street potentially causing harm to cars or people. I posted warnings that I could, and notified my other neighbors. I was unable contact my usual tree service, and looked for an emergency service. Ashley got back to me within 20 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. We switched to video so he could see the situation, and I then sent a couple of pictures. That's all, he told me he couldn't put his guys in the tree in the high winds, but he'd have them out in the morning.

He got me a price by text quickly, and sent the quote overnight. I did some research, and the price was within reason for that size tree. If you add in the emergency nature to squeeze us in, it was a great price. Sure enough by 1pm on a snowy afternoon, his crew was on site, with a truck for hauling, a crane truck just in case, and the necessary crew. They quickly (35-40 minutes) had the 40-50 foot pine tree on the ground, and hauled away.

Less than 24 hours from a neighbor noticing the potential danger to people and property, to a resolution at a reasonable price.

I would highly recommend Absolute Tree based on this experience.

Great service -- quick and professional! I imagined that taking down our really big dying oak + another smaller tree will take a whole day. The company brought all the necessary machinery and they were done in a couple of hours, and removed all the debris. The communication was easy and the contract clear.

I had a large project that consisted of tree removal,
Stump removal and planting very large mature trees. I called numerous companies for quotes which some didn’t even show up and the ones that did I felt Absolute was the most professional in their approach and the fact the my neighbor had used them and spoke highly of them was even better. The project went very smooth and his guys on the site were all very nice and respectful around our kids. We will def use them for future tree service.

Absolute Tree, Inc has done several jobs for me over the past five years - tree removal and stump grinding. Their work has always been excellent, professional and the most affordable. They have my highest recommendation.

Ashley is great. He has always done his best to fit us in as soon as possible after our tree emergencies. We have a number very large old Tulip Poplars (soft wood with very shallow roots) set close together which are very tricky to remove. The Absolute Tree crew has done an excellent job of removing these incredibly difficult trees. Absolute Tree is our go-to after tree disasters.

I had a maple tree that died in my backyard. I hired Absolute. They came out and were able to safely, and quickly, take down the dead tree and grind down the stump. Highly recommend them.

Absolute tree has been doing a great job in taking care of our Crepe Myrtle. When it was infested with white scale bugs, they were able treat the tree and remove the bugs. They have also been able to trim our tree ahead of schedule. Highly recommend them.

Look no further than Absolute Tree! I got four estimates for residential tree removal in Reston. Not only did Absolute Tree respond quickly, their quote was easily the most competitive. I needed the work done fairly quickly because it was an emergency, and they were super accommodating. They did a great job and the cleanup was so good that if you didn’t know a tree had been there before, you wouldn’t know they removed it! Highly recommend Absolute Tree.

DON'T USE FOR FIREWOOD! Delivered a half cord today and it was completely waterlogged. Simply doesn't want to burn. Very frustrating.

The work was scheduled for 11/3. A staff member knocked on the door and we verified the tree to be pruned. The work was done very well.

Every job performed by an Absolute Tree crew has been completed as discussed both safely and accurately without damage to anything or anyone. I remain amazed by the knowledge and skills shown to protect both property and co-workers - truly a team effort that cares about their work. Cleaning up our court after work recently done at a neighbor’s home led to my driveway and carport being cleared of MY leaves - totally unnecessary and very much appreciated! I have used Absolute Tree service a few times in the past and I wouldn't have anyone else do the job other than them. They always do a great job, show up on time and leave the work area very clean. I highly recommend them!

I found this company out of the Prince William County Best Picks Reports Quality Home Services Guide where they got a 4.9 rating out of 5. I requested a quote online (4/6/25) for tree trimming of a big tree (Zelvoka Tree) in my back yard. I was contacted via text by Ashley, the President and Lead Arborist asking what type of Tree it was. 3 hours later, I received a proposal in which I accepted a day later (4/7/2025) after consideration. The reason for the 1-star rating is that after I accepted the proposal on 4/7/25, I did not receive any communication whatsoever for two weeks. I didn't even receive a date that of service that the company would come out to do the tree trimming service until I reached out to the company for status on a scheduled service date. Ashley, the president responded to the email with a service date, but it was a short response with no recognition of the lack of communication (she appears to not be personable or customer service oriented) to me as a customer. 3 more weeks went by and there was still no communication of final confirmation as the service date got closer. On the day of the scheduled service date, no communication of expected arrival time. By the time I got off, I noticed that the company did not come to my place of residence at all. I reached out to the Ashley, the president via email and text message that afternoon to get an explanation. She didn't respond to my email but responded to text message (addressing me by the wrong name as well) stating that a bunch of scheduled jobs were rescheduled from the windstorm the area had experienced the week before, but an email should've been sent out.

Unfortunately, I did not receive any email or communication about any of this which was the theme of this disappointing customer experience. I requested the cancellation of service from them since it seemed that communication with the customer wasn't that important. Ashley, the president of the company apologized greatly for the inconvenience and honored my request to cancel the service. She also stated that the company had a major wind event two weeks prior that caused roughly 9 days' worth of emergency work where the staff has been working around the clock.

Unfortunately, this was not communicated to me as the customer at all until I decided to cancel the service that they couldn't provide at the scheduled day and time. Unfortunately, Absolute Tree, Inc. did not meet the 4.9 out of 5-star rating that was advertised in the Prince William County Best Pick Reports Quality Home Service Guide 2025 all due to the lack of communication which is not good business. I will take my business elsewhere where hopefully communication with the customer is priority # 1.
