Highly recommend Ed to do an inspection.. Do not hesitate in investing in Atlas Home inspection for your home inspection. We have a two bedroom condo which was new construction and Ed methodically went through each room and pointed out every single issue that we might want to bring up with the builder. Not only did he go over the condo with a fine tooth comb, he also showed us things that we needed to do as maintenance on a yearly and monthly basis to keep things running in perfect condition.

Ed was excellent. The turnaround time for when I called Atlas to when the inspection occurred was less than a week. The actual walkthrough was very thorough and honest and received the written inspection report within 24 hours of the inspection! Highly recommend.

Ed was very knowledge and talked me through everything he put in the report. Nothing came as a surprise and as a bonus he added how to fix everything in the report or what he recommends. I never felt that he wasn't knowledgeable in any area and honestly know more about hvac, electricity and etc that I have in my entire life. Ed at Atlas is terrific for home inspections. Yesterday, he conducted an in-depth pre-offer inspection during a tight deadline of offers due set by the selling agent and the seller. Ed spent nearly two hours examining the townhome and uncovering severable notable issues. He was very thorough and has a great eye for catching things and giving his opinion on how to fix it. I estimate that he uncovered roughly $40,000 of issues and repairs. Possibly $60,000 including windows replacement. It is well worth the minor price of a great inspector compared as a % of the house purchase price.

Ed did a fantastic job. He identified a serious issue with the first house he inspected for us, which would have cost us untold time, money, and headache if we'd bought it, and was just as thorough and professional when he came out to look at a second house. His reports were extremely detailed, and over the course of the inspection he did a wonderful job of explaining the house's various systems, what maintenance would be required, etc. I think it says something that at several points, when we contacted other experts he referred us to, they all said something like "oh, well, if you're working with Ed then I'll make the extra effort" or "oh I'm confident Ed found everything there is to find." He's great. I would heartily recommend him to anyone who needs a home inspection.

I recently hired Ed to inspect a home for me in Falls Church which was built in the 1950's. Ed was very thorough and while the home had some updates, it had a lot of punch list issues that needed to be remedied and a number of hazards like a second story screened porch with no balusters or railings and a ramp that was wasn't properly secured. I shadowed him the entire 3 1/2 hour inspection and he was very communicative about issues and possible solutions, pointing out maintenance vs major issues of concern. All in all, I was able to secure a credit from the seller and closed. It's hard to find competent, thorough inspectors who don't mind you being right behind them the entire inspection and who will impart knowledge. I'd highly recommend Ed to anyone buying or planning to sell.

I could not have had a better experience with Ed for my inspection. He was unbelievably thorough and knowledgeable, and perhaps most helpful of all, was patient and took the time to explain each element of the inspection to me in terms I could understand. Fantastic inspection!! I needed a professional to look at my attic since I had some concerns about my older home, and Atlas Home Inspections was the perfect choice! Ed came and thoroughly inspected my home in a highly professional manner. He was very friendly and informative. I contacted Atlas for home inspection for an upcoming condo purchase in Colonial Village in Arlington. Ed is really good at what he does. The rates are reasonable too. On the day of the inspection, Ed looked through every item in my condo carefully, and explained patiently what was good and what was not so good about the way the hardware/plumbing etc. was set up. He also shared valuable tips about how to care for various fixtures/appliances in the condo. In addition to getting a detailed report on the current state of the condo, I also learned a great deal from Ed!
