We recently hired LawnStarter to provide some grass cutting service as a gift to our daughter and son-in-law. They have a newborn baby and we thought they could use a little more time with her and a little less time working in the yard! I was able to see their yard in person just yesterday and it was amazing! The lawn has never looked better… Perfectly trimmed, edged and cleaned up. Fidel, the lawn professional who took care of it, did an outstanding job that exceeded our expectations. The price was fair, the communication was excellent, and the app was first class! The recipients of the gift are as delighted as we are!

I started using Lawnstarter for my small condo building yard because the price was low. And you get what you pay for. In the last 6 months of regular mowing, I’ve had over 10 different pros assigned to me. This is because pretty much none of them actually did the job well (very uneven mowing, no edging, etc) and when I put that in the app, I get a new pro. Invariably, they no-show on a scheduled day or keep rescheduling so my biweekly mow gets drawn out to just once a month and I end up getting assigned yet another pro. When I tried to talk to lawnstarter they just connect me with some AI bot and then ask me for good reviews. I would not use Lawnstarter again.

I had my first cut today…. EXCELLENT service!!!! My initial booking was canceled but I immediately tried to book again and ended up with Darrel with KLS Services - one day earlier than expected! So glad I didn’t give up and rebooked. He showed up and showed out. I look forward to continued excellent service!!!
New resident with lots of work to be done but to have him take the regular mowing off my hands… so thankful!!!

Victor and his crew are the best. Very knowledgeable, especially about local and invasive plants. They work fast and are just great guys!

We used this company to lay a path of stepping stones and river rocks that also required digging below to redirect storm water and they also re-sodded our backyard, in addition to several other tasks. They are wonderful! Victor came when he said he would. He understood what we needed and offered useful options every step of the way. The work was well done and the workers were hard working, polite and tidy. We had a miscommunication that was no one's fault about river rocks but it was resolved easily and to the satisfaction of both parties. They also do landscaping with a focus on using native plants and trees. We plan to use them in the fall for more work.

We've hired Quetzal for the last few years to do a spring yard cleanup and mulching. Victor and the team are amazing, meticulous, and know a ton about plants. They've also pruned our trees and shrubs and made repairs to some patio elements that needed it. I highly recommend them, our yard has never looked better and the plants are healthy and happy.

The team has done a great job maintaining our flower beds, in Spring they know the difference between a young flower and a weed, which isn't always easy!

Upgrade Home Improvement LLC did a fantastic job landscaping my property. Prices were extremely reasonable and I am very happy with the work they did. Ramiro payed a lot of attention to detail and had great ideas for making my property look amazing. Neighbors have already been extremely complimentary of the work that was done. I highly recommend Ramiro and team and will hire them immediately with any future landscaping and home improvement needs.

I’ve used them for several projects: sodding a backyard, spring cleanup and mulching, trimming a massive holly tree and privacy hedge. I’m always happy with their work and they are fast and affordable!

We really got burned by this company. We hired Christopher and crew to resurface our concrete steps for $600, in part because he seemed really trustworthy. Big mistake. We stayed off the steps for the recommended time, but as soon as we walked on them, the concrete started flaking off. I tried for 6 months to get Christopher to come back. He always promised to make it right, but of course, eventually I wised up to the fact that he was just putting me off. So sad.

Easy booking process, answered questions and concerns, was able to book and schedule service quickly. Carlos was very friendly and professional. His team did a great job and we got great results. They did aeration, applied seed and fertilizer to promote healthy grass. Will definitely use again.

The winter storm that struck the Washington DC metro region (and beyond) in late January left me iced in my home for eight (8) days. When the snow began to fall, I quickly shoveled off my porch, walkway & driveway. My plan was to pace myself & repeat the process a few hours later but unfortunately, my plan didn't work as I fell asleep!

When I woke up to return to shoveling, I heard ice coming down. Upon going outside, the ice was already stuck-frozen solid-and kept coming down so I figured, "Oh well."

That "Oh well" quickly turned into a frigid "Oh hell" the following day. Even with the sun shining, the ice was stubborn & my house being situated on the shady side of the street also didn't help.

Days went by & I dealt with it because I was warm & toasty inside & had plenty of junk food to keep me distracted. But then I realized that it was time to get my car warmed up & on the road so that the engine oil didn't thicken too much; that's when the frustration AKA panic set in.

I couldn't find anyone to remove the ice! Sure, I neglected to buy de-icer at the hardware store a couple weeks before the storm, but I never NEEDED it in the past & I don't think anyone was truly prepared for Ice-mageddon. So I started Googling snow removal companies & that's when I found Benitez Landscaping Pro Services.

I was apprehensive about contacting the company as there weren't many reviews to check out & those that were available focused on lawn care. But then I saw a couple 5-star reviews praising them for their snow removal services during the same winter storm & that's when I knew I had to hire them. I sent photos of what needed to be cleared, received a reasonable quote (hefty but reasonable for what was performed) & they were at my residence in no time!

I complemented the lady I spoke with via telephone when the gentlemen were wrapping up the job at my home, telling her that it was such a relief that they delivered the services I desperately requested in such a timely fashion. She was very understanding & I can't recommend Benitez Landscaping Pro Services enough!
