I recently purchased my condo and needed dryer vent cleaning. I have a full-sized and stacked washer/dryer unit in a closet, and the washer/dryer must be pulled out before the vent could be cleaned. Calling around, most places required that I first move the washer/dryer out of the closet myself before they would be able to clean the vent. Then I found John with Pro Chimney who said he would be able to move the washer/dryer in addition to cleaning the vent, and told me what the price would be upfront. The price was not that much higher from the quotes I received when I was previously calling around.

On the scheduled day, John showed up on time for the cleaning. When John started to look at the unit, he discovered that the previous owner had used a venting tube that was not best suited for the place. So John voluntarily replaced it with a more flexible dryer duct and he even took a quick Home Depot run to buy pieces that he needed. He did all this extra work without accepting additional pay. Moreover, he helped clean up the surrounding area to make sure there were no debris left over from the dryer duct replacement. Overall, John was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional, and I will certainly request his services again in the future.

I just started my search for a company to clean my dryer vent YESTERDAY! Immediately, I got an email from John at Pro Chimney. His quote was lower than any others I got yesterday, and the company's reviews are great. Well, here's another satisfied customer. They fit me into their schedule for today between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. Patrick from Pro chimney texted me at about 12:40 p.m. saying he was 20 minutes away. Right on time - gotta love it! He showed up, was extremely professional, clearly knew what he was doing, and didn't mind my shadowing him so I could watch a completely unfamiliar process. The job was a bit more difficult than they'd imagined, so my price went up a little but not much from the initial quote. And wow, was that thing clogged! But yet, it only took Patrick about an hour to manage This tall order of a task. He kept me informed about what he was doing, and he gave me suggestions on what I could do to my venting system to prevent such severe clogs in the future. Overall, I am extremely happy with the service provided by Pro Chimney and air Duct Cleaning. I'll certainly bring them back for future needs and spread their name to any of my friends and family in the market for these sorts of services. I highly recommend them.

We've used this service twice now. Once last year when our gas fireplace had an issue. John came out right before Christmas to make sure our fireplace was ready for the holiday. We then used him again when we were made aware by the gas company that our fireplace would need a repair. They are incredibly responsive and diagnosed the problem. They had to order a part and kept us apprised of cost and how long it would take. Then they came out to replace it. John has been the one who has taken care of the issues. When he is running late, he let you know right away. I get it, sometimes jobs take longer, but he was very accommodating in ensuring we got the work done. John gave me a detailed tutorial on how to relight the pilot light and was very patient. He was polite and a hard worker. I highly recommend them for your fireplace needs. I will use them again and again, and already have.
