Two Maids

The ladies did an extremely thorough job today. They arrived on time. There was a language barrier however we did our best to communicate. They truly wanted to clean and make sure I was pleased with their work. I would give their work a 10.
I’m curious, if I use them again, would the cost be the same?

I am really surprised that this place has so many 5 star reviews. If I could give a -1 star I would. I called to have a deep clean done. They gave me a quote of $481 and I scheduled, set it up, was super excited, I’d never had a deep clean of my house before. They were supposed to text me a day before to give me a window of time that they’d be coming, but they never sent that text. The day I scheduled, two ladies show up, and the first thing that’s said to me is “Upstairs” and off they go. I let them do their thing, and I thought it was going well, and then one of the ladies asked me to go upstairs and asked if it was okay. It was not. They didn’t clean the railings, the windows, under furniture. An hour later, a manager came, and asked me what wasn’t clean. I guess the ladies called her, I’m not sure? But the manager was quite rude to me, told me they don’t move furniture to clean (I had nightstands in front of my windows, so then I went around the house moving furniture so they would clean it behind it and under it. I didn’t expect them to move big furniture, but in the past when I’ve had people come and clean, they’ve moved little stuff, and none of this information was given to me prior to the clean. There was a dog bed on the floor (basically a pillow) and they didn't even move that to clean underneath. I'm not sure what made this service a “deep clean” vs a regular clean because as I walked around after they left, there were so many things that were dusty and not cleaned, they didn't even clean some surfaces in the house. The mopping job feels like they just slapped a mop over the floor without actually really getting it clean. I’m so disappointed and feel like I was scammed with the price of the deep clean and got jipped because other people had such good reviews, I thought this would be an amazing experience. This was a mediocre standard clean at best.
And the worst part of this was that the two ladies kept pulling their masks down and just working with their masks down, so they weren’t even following Covid protocols.

Edited to add based on the manager’s reply- they said that they stayed for 5 hours (which is not true- they were there for 3 hours and 45 minutes and it was two ladies). When I called to inquire about cleaning, they stated that for a deep clean that they stayed as long as necessary to get the job done, yet clearly telling me in the reply they I should’ve paid more for how long they stayed. I also don’t appreciate in the reply being threatened to post pictures of my home and it’s condition. We have two dogs and two kids- that’s why I wanted a deep clean- in the other reviews they seemed to have worked to customer satisfaction, but not for me for the price I paid. And as far as Covid protocols, there’s no excuse for not following them and the fact that the ladies were not cautious about that can tell you how much they likely cared about doing a proper job in my home.
