Constraction reviews in Chesapeake, Virginia

I could not have asked for a better first time home buyer home inspection experience. Gerald was knowledgable, professional, and very helpful. He explained everything, the process and the report, in detail and answered all of my questions. I would 100% recommend him.

This inspector was outstanding. He was patient in answering questions and explained it in a way someone not in construction could understand. Inspector was very thorough and systematic. The other thing I was impressed with was his use of computer programs to rapidly photograph and annotate inspections. I would hire him again and highly recommend anyone buying a house to use his company.

Beyond Bricks Inspection Company provided excellent service beginning with my request, throughout the inspection and the follow-up after. They arrived early for the inspection and very professionally conducted the inspection and answered all of my questions. Further, the inspection report was completed and delivered within hours!

Very happy with the service and it was $$ well spent! This was a new home inspection and Beyond Bricks found 3 issues that should be addressed.

Mr. Irving was the most thorough inspector I’ve ever use. He was timely and he inspected and provided a report on every aspect of the home. My daughter is purchasing this fixer upper home so I wanted to make sure it was safe. His report addressed every aspect of the home and gave me piece of mind about the purchase.

Very professional, and punctual. Have the patience to answer all the questions you may have. My experience with Beyond Bricks was phenomenal, I will definitely use them again in the future… 100% recommend

Gerald is extremely reliable - he was on time and we got our report the same day - within a few hours. He was very thorough and efficient and have no problem recommending him.

Our first time and first home, me and my family needed an inspection on very short notice. Being a former framer and roofer, I have prior home knowledge and I can attest to Gerald being VERY thorough for a reasonable price. Friendly as well as making sure you understand what’s going on with your house even if you’ve never touched a hammer in your life. Will %100 recommend to anyone.

Hands down one of the best in the business! I absolutely am so grateful to have found Mr. G! He takes excellent care of my clients, always goes above and beyond and ALWAYS makes them feel confident with their decision to purchase (or not purchase) their home! He is super responsive, super knowledgeable and willing to take the extra time to explain the reports during the inspection and even afterward! I HIGHLY recommend and would give him 10 stars if I could!!!

Gerald was very informative with complete explanations for everything he did. No question was left unanswered. He did everything his agreement said he would and the resultant report was so complete we were able to get a clear picture of what we needed to do and didn’t need to do or worry about. Gerald was very responsive, professional and efficient. He communicated clearly, was friendly and eager to share results with my client. He made sure every step of the way that we understood the process and information provided. I"ll use him again!

Gerald was positively awesome at his job. He was very flexible with the scheduling process and spent 3-4 hours here doing the inspection and then another 45 minutes with me and my husband explaining the results so the inspection itself would not have any surprises for us. The online process of viewing, sharing, and evaluating the inspection results is convenient and flexible as well. Five gold stars for service, professionalism, results, and value.

Gerald has been extremely professional not only during the pre-inspection but also post inspection. The inspection report was detailed and offered simple explanations on the findings. HIs follow up has been none other than fantastic to remind me if I had any questions to be sure to contact him and he would be happy to answer those questions regarding the inspection.
