Came out for an estimate on a downed limb in my front yard and even tho he was booked up, made time to get it removed that day *and* pruned up the rest of the tree so we wouldn’t lose more limbs.

Contacted them for quote. They came out provided the quote. I had to contact them to get a date scheduled. We confirmed a date. The day before, I contacted them to confirm the date. All was good. The day of the service came. No contact.

These guys were awesome. They cut a few trees and cleaned up afterwards. I couldn’t tell they were here. All of the guys are so nice and professional. I will only use them for now on.

This is a local Chesapeake company. They are incredible. Their rate is so much more affordable, they did an incredible job, clean up was great, stump removal was great, they did everything they said they would do. What’s more, Matt and his crew are extremely good people and pleasure to do business with. I would call them again in a heartbeat and I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

We called to have a tree that was leaning taken down about three weeks ago. Arborist came to our property and told us that it would bend but never break. We decided to remove it anyway and they was told they would get it in “a few days”. We called back about 10 days later and were told “They were behind but will get to it soon”. We have been waiting but this evening the wind knocked it down on top of our house.

Thanks a lot for not only saying that wouldn’t happen but then never come and take care of it after we decided to anyway.

Hopefully you have better luck with this company than I did. They provided me with a quote this past summer but I never got the tree cut down. A few weeks ago mid January they knocked on my door looking for work and provided me with another quote that worked for both of us. We agreed on the price and scheduled an appointment to cut the tree down the following week. I contacted the company the night before to confirm we were still good the next day because I was taking off of work and they said we were good. They we’re supposed to be at the house by noon and by 2:30 when no one showed up I contacted them and heard every excuse why they weren’t able to come and I didn’t even get a courtesy call to let me know they weren’t coming. They told me they would get back with me to reschedule and four weeks later no contact even after leaving several messages with them. If this is how they treat their customers I’m not sure how they stay in business.

I’m rating them best tree service! They were fast, efficient, careful and cleaned up quickly. I couldn’t ask for more! Wow!

We were having one tree removed from our backyard to prepare for the installation of a pool. It was a single gumball tree. I could not have been more impressed with how clean the area looks. I am confident they cleaned up more gumballs off the ground than they needed to. The area along the side of the road where the branches were staged for mulching shows no remnants of tree debris. I would recommend their service to anyone who asks.

I used them recently to complete a moderate job another tree company didn’t. They are professional and solid in their work. Pricing is on the north end but not ridiculous. Only reason for 3 vs 5 stars is they didn’t return to grind the stumps as discussed and agreed.

Very professional, removed 3 very large limbs that were possibly damage to my roof. They removed all limbs without any damage to house , fence or yard, finished same day they started, cleaned all debris and hauled away, you could never tell they were there. I will definately use again and highly recommend.

Hurricane Isaias came through with major wind force and probably a hit from lightning to one of our 20-year old Bradford Pear trees on the berm. Simpson’s gave me a very reasonable price to clear the existing downed portion and remove the remainder of the tree. The entire crew did a great job clearing and cleaning up all the debris. We highly recommend Simpson’s Tree Service! They removed a tree, ground the stump and trimmed others. They were so professional! They were kind and cleaned the area after the job. The price was fair and one of the lower ones after 5 estimates. We don’t often do these reviews, but wanted to help others looking for tree service.

We are extremely happy with the price and results! The Simpson Tree service team had a big job at our location. They removed 2 trees completely and did major work on 4 other trees and trimmed up several other trees/bushes. They did exactly what we wanted and left the property cleaner than they found it. Highly recommend!!!

Matt and his team were Fantastic!! Matt kept in constant commination during all the reschedules due to weather; once the team came out they were done and gone within an hour. Cleaned up the whole area and you never would have known we had a tree removed!! Will be using them again in the future to remove another tree!

This is the second time that Simpson's Tree Service has taken care of trees for us over the last five years. The team is skilled and efficient, and they do an excellent job cleaning up debris. The price is reasonable for all of the hard work involved. I highly recommend them!

Excellent and very professional
The individuals who came to my home were extremely professional and worked together as a great team. While cutting down two tall trees, they were very careful not to damage my Weeping Cherry Tree which was extremely close to the trees they were removing. Once the trees were removed, they had picked up any small tree limbs that were on the ground and raked around the entire area where they had worked. They did such an excellent job that except for the two low cut tree stumps, you would never know they had been there.
