Freedom Mowers Lawn Care Service has provided me with very reliable service. I have recommended them to many home owners. They are thorough and professional, and leave my home looking very well groomed!

Great friendly service Ever since I have been using Freedom Mowers, I haven’t needed to look any where else. The work they do is very professional and it shows they take pride in their work. I called and asked if the guys could clean up the twigs and small branches and what it would cost, I was told there would be no charge. This is the type of service you can expect from the guys at Freedom Mowers.

My yard was a mess and needed a makeover. The owner was responsive when I reached out and the quality of their work was top notch. Very happy with my experience and will continue to use them in the future.

Contacted Freedom Mowers when we first moved into our new home in Chesapeake. The owner was very personable, reasonable, and professional. There were no surprises with the pricing, and they did a great job at keeping our yard looking great. We still utilize their services, and will not go anywhere else. Highly recommend this business.

I have been using this company for officially a year now. One, I can actually get a hold of the owner and talk to him about the needs of my projects. He works with me to make sure everything is done perfectly and his team takes so much pride in what they do - they take ownership of making our yard look the best on the block! They are so kind, they have helped me out during last-minute requests and they even do extra things to help with the health and long-term sustainability of my property. Honestly, we moved here and had to find all new vendors, I am so grateful I found such a fantastic and hard-working group. Thank you Freedom Mowers - you take a lot of the work off mine and my husband's busy plates and give us a beautiful landscape to come home to.

In the middle of the summer last year my regular yard person had to retire unexpectantly due to illness Marvin ( the owner/ manager of the company) , was more than helpful in agreeing to take over the service of my yard at the last minute. They have done a great job all year long in keeping up my yard and are always willing to do the little extras that pop up on occasion. They are friendly, reliable and efficient in their service and Marvin has been so kind and wonderful to work with along the way. He is always willing to help in any situation. I really appreciate the care and service they have provided and I am so thankful to have them as my lawn service. Thank you freedom mowers for a job well done and for always being there to help !

Freedom Mowers has mowed and trimmed my yard twice this spring. They arrived when they said they would and did a nice professional job. Since my lawn and landscaping is new (mostly sod and mulch) they agreed to service it less often until it grows thicker and needs more frequent service. I would definitely recommend them for residential lawn service.

Mr. Jackson and the crew from Freedom Mowers have not let me down yet. We have been utilizing them for several years and are well satisfied with their services.

Update: 04/28/2025 - These folks continue to be our "go to" for yard servicing. They show up when scheduled, communicate if delayed, and have corrected in a timely manner any issues noted.

I love Freedom Mowers! We used them for the first time last season and are so impressed by their fair pricing, timeliness, professionalism and communication. Freedom Mowers did an excellent job of edging, weed-eating and mowing my lawn. Took great care around my ornamental plants. They did not leave clumps of mown grass anywhere and cleaned off my sidewalk and driveway. Always a great job!

I recently booked a “spring cleanup” service with Freedom Mowers and was extremely disappointed. The service promised a comprehensive cleanup, yet what was delivered was nothing more than a basic mow and edge for over 200 dollars. Additionally, the use of a riding lawn mower resulted in considerable damage to my backyard and killed the new grass that was just beginning to grow.

The service provided did not align with what was advertised, leaving me feeling misled. Based on this experience, I will not be using Freedom Mowers again, nor will I recommend their services to others.

Excellent service, they consistently exceed my expectations. We're going into our 3rd season, and feel fortunate to have found them!
