Reviews of local pros in Chester, Virginia

RW Stump grinding was not only days early to do a stump grinding job but they were fast, professional, clean and awesome to work with. Will definitely use these guys again for future work. Very pleased. Thank you guys!! If I could give yall 6 stars I would.

Very responsive, quick to get us on the schedule, clean work and affordable rates. Great job, thank you, Reggie!

This is the second time we have used RW Stump Grinding. Both times we were very pleased with prompt service, professionalism, and the results. We confidently recommend this company and will employ Reggie West again in the future.

This company was very professional in their quote, communication and billing. The job was done better than i expected- you would not have known i just had a tree stump ground down! Would highly recommend

Called Reggie to come out and do an estimate for us to remove many (many!) tree stumps. He was extremely thoughtful and professional. Reggie discussed with us the private power lines on our lot, helped map those out, called Miss Ultility to get on the schedule and consulted on a few trickier issues.

He came today and did an AMAZING job. He spent 4 hours doing 10-15 large stumps. Reggie also was kind enough to take out some smaller stumps and bushes we wanted out. We insisted we pay a little bit extra since it was way more than we originally agreed upon. Plus his pricing was super competitive.

We now have a smooth lot, holes filled in, and lots of fresh mulch! I can’t thank Reggie enough.

I had two small stumps in my front yard that needed to be removed. I texted Reggie on Sunday, he came out Monday AM for a quote, and the crew completed the job on Wednesday AM. Outside of getting rid of the stumps, the crew left my yard in better shape than they found it. Highly recommend!

Prompt response, excellent performance. We used RW to grind 32 stumps on our property. The price was very competitive, and the professionalism, expediency, and level of work were top notch. Would absolutely recommend them.

Came over as scheduled and did a amazing job grinding the stomps I had requested. Will definitely use again for next stomp job.

Just awesome! Reggie was incredibly professional, efficient, and a master of his craft. We had a stump with gas and electrical lines running through it which caused a lot of hesitation but Reggie’s experience and explanation of the process quickly settled our nerves. He even recalled 811 just make sure he had the most accurate markings. Who does that these days?? This guy!!!!

Reggie took the time to explain the process and the value to grinding the stump for our needs. He is quick, reliable, and affordable. Reggie is down to earth and straight forward. I will be using again on our next project.

W Stump Grinding removed two large pine stumps with tall mounds, including several massive exposed roots, quickly and efficiently in about four hours. In contrast, a neighbor up our street contracted with a firm that took ~ three days to finish a similar job! We recommend RW Stump Grinding with no reservations.

Called this company on August 2, talked to owner and he said he'd come out today August 3rd,, to give us a quote on grinding 4 stumps. He came out this morning and gave us a great price and did the job right then. He did a great job and was very professional and friendly.
We'd highly recommend this company to anyone needing this kind of service.
Very happy and satisfied customer.
Thank you.

Reggie is an awesome and reliable guy! He is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and we will definitely look to work with him on any future services! He knew what he was talking about, was punctual, and great with communication (something that a lot of businesses lack). He came out to grind down several large sized stumps and made sure that he raked all the chips and dirt down to level everything out. It was appreciated that he was the one who did the work rather than just being a face to get a quote from, never to be seen or heard from again. He was also kind enough to lend us a hand when he noticed we were struggling with moving some logs! Great guy, great service, great price - what more can you ask for?!

I have used RW Stump grinding atleast 5 times. They are always on time and do a great job. I enjoy my chainsaw and have probably had over 50 stumps ground by Reggie and his team. Our yard and woods look so much better thanks to their work. I can't recommend them enough. I also rely heavily on Reggie as a certified arborist to educate me on tree health as I have many trees relatively close to our house. He also has a great network of tree companies I have used to assist with taking down trees that are out of the scope of what a home owner should do. Thank you for always being there when needed.

RW Stump Grinding did a great job removing 2 stumps for me. Reggie was timely - showed up when he said he would. Performed the tasks he said he would and clean up of my yard was impeccable; actually my yard was cleaner after he left than it was when he arrived. I've recommended him to another person and they had the same great experience with him as well. You need a stump eliminated, Reggie's your guy!

Great communication, easy to work with and fair pricing! RW will be the only call I make if ever I have more stumps to get rid of.

Reggie is an expert in his field and cares deeply for his clients. Highly Recommend that you work with RW Stump Grinding 👍

Reggie was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Not only were the stumps (about 12) efficiently taken out, but he was able to help me identify tree species, recommend sick trees or invasive trees that needed to come out and recommend a tree removal company. Reggie was certainly an asset for the project far beyond stump removal, which was done very well.

The coordination for the work was simple. The fact that I didn't have to be home in order for the work to be completed was awesome. The quality of the work was nothings short of outstanding. I only wish I had taken before and after photos. Other than that, thank you for a job well done!

The team did great work! Excellent customer service and easy to work with! Will definitely use them again for any future stump work!

The owner Reggie was very friendly and his quote was extremely reasonable. His employee Brian did exceptional work and took the time to show me the end result before back filling. He was very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs stumps ground. They only had five stars available or I would have added more.
