Extremely happy with the service I received from James River Stump Grinding. Lee is extremely professional and was so happy he was able to take care of the stumps so fast. He is punctual, and did exactly what I requested of him.

The stump grinding was done professionally, and he cleaned up thoroughly afterward. He was courteous, respectful, and clearly took pride in his work. I couldn't be happier with the work James River Stump Grinding did for me! They removed and ground approximately 20 stumps on my property and went above and beyond from start to finish.

Not only did they thoroughly grind the stumps, but they also removed all of the leftover wood chips and debris, which saved me a tremendous amount of cleanup work. They then filled in all of the holes with dirt and left the yard looking clean, level, and well-finished.

The crew was professional, hardworking, and paid attention to the details. It's rare to find a company that takes such pride in their work, but it definitely shows. James River Stump Grinding Inc did an outstanding job of removing two stumps in our yard. We went through Angi's list and were immediately contacted by Lee Thacker, the owner of JRSGInc. He gave us a very reasonable quote for the work based on our discussion on the phone and arrived to perform the work within a week's time. The team of Lee and Ronnie arrived on schedule and were very friendly and professional. They used a stump grinder that is on rubber tracks and did not leave ruts in the yard. They were careful to lay down large 4' x 8' pieces of wood/fiberglass on the grass where their machine had to be turned such that the tracts did not dig into the grass turf. Throughout the process, they were careful not to damage any of our shrubs. After the stump grinding, they raked out the remaining residue and made the flower bed look great. We are extremely satisfied with their work and definitely recommend them.

Amazing service received from these guys! Highly recommend. Fair pricing, great quality work and respectful of our property. We had a tree cut down, Stump ground down and trimmed a few other tree limbs. They cleaned up so good behind themselves. No twigs or small branches left behind on the ground.
