After discovering a problem with water penetration and corrosion in the electrical panel in my home I talked with several electricians about solving the problem. Mid Atlantic Wiring produced a good plan to solve the problem and at a fair price. At the same time I decided to upgrade the wiring to my EV charger.

The work was done on the day agreed to, with Mid Atlantic Wiring obtaining the necessary permits for the work. The new panel was installed well and neatly, everything was brought up to present code, and the site was perfectly clean when the project was done. They even went above and beyond, installing a current-monitoring device in the panel for me.

I recommend Mid Atlantic Wiring for any electrical project.

Received a quick response for a requested quote, a thorough assessment of my needs and survey of the work site was performed, gave me a quote within a day, scheduled the work soon after I accepted the proposal, and they did excellent work. To sum it up, very professional, responsive, and they do excellent work. I believe I received high quality work for the price paid. Bonus, once on site they went above and beyond by installing an additional switch to make things operate more seamlessly. Would have been perfect if they had a small portable vacuum to pick up more of the cut drywall dust and wood shaving on site.

update 2025 - I called Mid Atlantic again to install lights in 3 of my rooms, including recessed lights. They continue to be very easy to work with and I was really happy with their work. I cannot recommend them enough.

Mid Atlantic replaced my circuit breaker and ensured it was up to code, in addition to replacing the outlets in my house and adding switches.

I cannot recommend them enough. Their prices were very competitive while also being the most knowledgeable electrician I talked to for the job. Everything they did felt like it was by the books, including getting a permit and having the county verify their work.

They are a father/son duo and my experience working with them was fantastic.

Just had Mid-Atlantic do a complete electrical panel replacement along with adding some lines for a new HVAC unit and kitchen rehab. I've used Mid-Atlantic Wiring for two projects now - a car charger and a new circuit for my garage. Kyoung is excellent - he is extremely efficient, everything is perfectly cleaned up at the end, and the prices are very fair. There have been no issues whatsoever with the work. I will be using Mid-Atlantic Wiring for more projects in the future!

We had Kyoung come around a week ago and I decided to wait a week before making a review to make sure everything was working. He installed Cat6 Ethernet ports from one floor to the other and was able to identify how to do it quickly and neatly. We no longer have a really long cable running from one story to another and has made our life very convenient. I would definitely hire his services again!!

Contracted to replace the ethernet cable running through the house from the outside Internet Service Provider box through the attic to the router in the home office. Was prompt on communicating and when service could be performed, did a really neat job and cleaned up afterwards, plus actually charged less than the original quote as the job was simpler than anticipated. Would use again for wiring needs.

I highly recommend June and his father from Mid Atlantic Wiring. They took down an old crystal chandelier and prepared it for moving with great care. They were prompt, courteous, and careful. It was easy to work with them.

My experience with Mid Atlantic Wiring was excellent. I called because my elderly father's power was turned off during the winter snowstorms in VA (unclear if it was breaker/panel/wiring issue or condo building issue). Dominion Electric is notoriously awful and unhelpful to figure out why/if the panel/breaker was not functioning... so when I called June at MidAtlantic, he was so helpful over the phone, walking me through several troubleshooting methods to avoid an unnecessary trip and cost. June helped me find the issue (over the phone) and waived the fee for his assistance. A great, honorable guy and company; his information helped me get power/electic/heat back on during frigid conditions, and my father is safely back into his condo! Beyond grateful!

Mid-Atlantic Wiring replaced three fluorescent bulb light fixtures that had stopped working well with LED light fixtures and replaced our broken doorbell. When I found the chime of the new doorbell too loud, they made mechanical adjustments to get the chime to right volume level. They were prompt, skilled, and professional, and very responsive to my email inquiries, and their rates were reasonable. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Outstanding experience with Mid Atlantic Wiring today. Let's just say we had a minor electrical mishap in our kitchen that was entirely our doing (blew a switch). We called the team at MAW in the morning and had a team out to see us within a few hours. They completed the work perfectly and immaculately and even stayed to consult with us on network wiring (our next project). Fantastic, friendly service, highly recommend!

Got meter box repaired, recessed lights, two EV chargers and dedicated circuits, and new sub panel install, with permitting where required.

Two-person team did great work, on schedule, and with good communication (I had a lot of questions and changes). I liked them because they weren't a big company overcharging for unnecessary things and their work was good/fair. First job was smaller but well done, so I called them again for the EV charger installs. They handled the permit process as well. Overall good experience and would call them again.

I hired Mid Atlantic Wiring to install smart light switches and smoke/CO2 detectors. It was easy to book an appointment and it was great getting a specific time vs most companies that give you a 4 hour window. Kyoung and June arrived on time, were professional, and got the job done quicky. The rate was very reasonable. Will definitely recommend to anyone that needs to hire an electrician.
