We’ve had them come over twice at this point for two different jobs and the level of competence is excellent. They are also very quick to respond and come out. Jason was respectful and thorough.

This is a rented property so the landlady handled any billing so I cannot speak to that aspect.

What a great experience. The electrician arrived same-day and quickly diagnosed my problem as being with Dominion Power. More importantly, he did so without trying to upsell needless work or pad his time. I highly recommend AJ Long and would happily use them again.

Bo Kel accomplished all tasks perfectly! He reinstalled the shorted Ground Fault Protector that had been incorrectly installed in the new kitchen 17 years ago. He further fully insulated all the neighboring switches and sockets as seen in the pic.

We had an urgent situation come up on a Sunday night. I went to AJ Long's website and was easily able to schedule an appointment *for the next day!* The website was very transparent about the cost for the service call and possible charges beyond that. They came within the time promised the next day, performed the work very quickly and well. Highly recommend!!

On Labor Day half the power to our house went out, including the AC.
Referred to me by my in-laws, it was easy for me to book an appointment online, which I set up for the following day.
The technician (Sai) was punctual, courteous, well spoken, and knowledgeable.
He quickly evaluated the issue and traced it back to something in out meter box, on the outside of the house. One of the phases had come loose and shortened-out.
He pointed out the Is severity and danger of the situation and advised that I called the power company immediately.
.... Which I did and thay were able to remedy the situation later that day.
But it could have end a another way...

Pricing for the service call was also very acceptable @ $133.

The electrician from AJ Long Electric did a great job repairing an electrical problem that was causing my video doorbell not to work. He did a very thorough job, and the price was reasonable.

They were prompt efficient and got the job done updated our electrical outlets and installed a search protector for our electrical box.

In 22 years of real estate brokerage I have had 2 reliable/excellent electricians serving electrical work needs for my property management division that I have lost through natural attrition, i.e., retirement. Recently losing the second I am in the unenviable process of finding a competent successor. AJ Long Electric is the second attempt in my search in the past two month’s.

AJLE estimator Josh was articulate and organized surveying a project and prepared a professional proposal that I chose over 2 other electrical contractors at $4200.00. AJLE electricians Bo, Ted and Jeremy on the job performed high quality work. They were well organized and highly focussed for a full day of work requiring 2 call back dates because of material availability challenges.

But, as good as the estimator and electricians were, by comparison, the AJLE office was awful in my experience. In my opinion it is in shambles, especially with respect to communications and the reason I am moving on. Though Josh talked-the-talk the office stumbled at walking-the-walk. Five stars for the electricians, 1 star for the office, yields 3 stars overall in my judgement. Moving on.

Second time AJ Long did electrical work for. And for a second time, service was excellent. Responded to our service request promptly and scheduled us for service two days later. Bo installed new wiring from our AC to circuit breaker. He explained the process, answered questions, worked steadily for several hours without taking a break. Highly recommend for quality of service and reasonable price.

Electrician arrived at the beginning of the appointment window and diagnosed the issue quickly. Solid service, will use AJ Long again in the future.

Outstanding work by the electrician. He was very competent in his job and personable. I had an electric plug-in installed for an outdoor television. I would use this AJ Long Electric again for any future upgrades needed for my home.

Very pleased with AJ Long. They came out right away and were very professional. Sai came out right on time and helped get a light fixture installed as well as a faulty dishwasher fixed.
