Design Pro Remodeling

We used DesignPro to remodel my mom's house after she passed and they were great to work with. They were communicative, worked within our very limited budget, and were able to get the work done quickly without a lot of direction and without creating issues. If you need a company that will be fair, trustworthy, and help you turn around a project on a tight budget with a minimum of supervision, DesignPro is a great choice.

We recently hired Design Pro Remodeling to renovate our kitchen. Our project manager Janene was wonderful to work with. She was accommodating, friendly and communicative. Her number one concern was that we love the kitchen, and did everything in her power to make that happen. There were several hiccups during the renovation that were taken care of without hesitation (kitchen sink cabinet was cut wrong, outlet was installed in the wrong place for the microwave, electrical junction boxes being installed in the wrong spot so that they are exposed even after appliances are installed, etc). They could have pushed back on us about fixing the issues because they were not unsafe just visibly unappealing, but they wanted us to be happy with the kitchen. Mistakes happen, what is important is that they are owned and taken care of. Janene did not hesitate to jump through hoops in order to correct any problems that came up.

Our onsite lead Jorge was also fantastic. He was honest, hardworking and very polite. He was very good about providing his honest opinion about whether or not an aspect of the project looked good or not. He provided feedback to Janene if he felt something did not meet his high standards. One example of him going above and beyond is when he told my wife and I that he was concerned the screws that came with the cabinet hardware we picked out would eventually strip the wood, so he went to Home Depot and picked up different screws, washers, and lug nuts he could apply to address the wood stripping issue. All he was required to do was attach the hardware, but he wanted it to be done the right way.

Attention to detail is important, and both Janene and Jorge consistently demonstrated a great deal of it over the course of our project.

I would recommend Design Pro Remodeling to anyone looking for a good contractor, and would happily use them again.

I don't usually ever provide reviews, but I felt that the quality of service, trust, and pricing of Design Pro Remodeling and our general contractor Cameron was simply amazing. We recently purchased a home in early May and reached out to Cameron for an initial estimate on some major renovations on the home. At this time, material/labor shortages were already a major issue and we had a short turnaround period for the renovations to be completed. We were hoping to have all major items completed by August so we could avoid paying for a mortgage AND monthly rent for more than 3 months.

In all, we did a complete tear down of our entire main floor to an "open concept," performed a major redesign of our kitchen area including new cabinets and appliances, installed a massive island centerpiece for our kitchen, refinished the hardwood floors in the living room and 4 upstairs bedrooms (including ripping out the carpet upstairs), added 2 mini split systems for our 3rd and 4th floor bedrooms, performed some electrical work for recessed lighting upstairs and downstairs, repainted the entire main living room area, sprinkled in some HVAC rerouting, and added new trim throughout our main floor.

Throughout the entire process, Cameron and his crew were extremely professional and courteous. The one thing I truly appreciate about Cameron was his transparency, attention to detail and project management (he was a former IT Consultant and it really shines in his correspondence), and he always kept his team and sub-contractors accountable. There are always ups/downs with this type of renovation, but the one thing I could count on was Cameron always doing the right thing. And this gave me a great deal of confidence and a lot less stress when it came to the work being performed.

We were not the easiest clients and we had very high expectations for our General Contractor. Time and time again - Cameron and his team showed up and consistently held themselves to those same expectations. I cannot emphasize enough how much trust I had in Cameron and his team - which is very rare these days. They were ultimately able to deliver on-time and we moved in with no issues.

The final walkthrough and blue tape process was a breeze and all items we identified were promptly addressed. I would not hesitate to recommend Cameron and his great team at Design Pro Remodeling to anyone out there who may be looking to perform renovations in their home. Renovations are always challenging - the one thing that you need to have on your side as a consumer is a General Contractor you can trust. You can't go wrong with Cameron and Design Pro.
