2 years ago, my lawn was a mess. I tried to stay on top of it with fertilizers and weedkillers, but nothing mattered, plus all the options at the stores and prices were overwhelming. For about the same cost of doing this myself, LawnDoctor has completely transformed my lawn to what I always wished it could look like. I am into my second year and never regretting making the call.

Very happy with the service. My lawn was a mess. Other companies were quoting me thousands of dollars and/or refusing to take the job. Lawn Doctor has made a substantial difference to my lawn in one year just based off their regular service with seeding.

Lawn Doctor has provided seeding, fertilizer, and weed control for our home since 1999. We have always found them to be very courteous, timely, and professional. Question about a weed, send them a picture, need an estimate or ideas for the yard, give them a call and they will be right out. This is a business where the owner takes a personal interest and will reach out to you if there is ever a question you need answering. A company you can depend on we have for overt 22 years.

We have used Lawn Doctor of Fairfax North & South for many years. Their service and staff has been excellent, even rescheduling dates if necessary. We would still be with them except for the fact we moved out of the area.

We’ve been with the “Lawn Doctor” for five years. They do a great job on the lawn care: fertilization, weed & crabgrass control, treatment for surface feeding insects, pawer seeding. They always do a great job! We are highly recommend them.

After trying several other well known national companies, I have found that Lawn Dr. has a much better offering and service. They seem to know exactly how much fertilizer to put down without causing burning. Have been with Lawn Dr. for many years and have no plans to change.

We've been using Lawn Doctor of Fairfax for about 10 years. We've tried others but they are truly the best. Our lawn looks wonderful even in the summer when our neighbor's grass is turning brown in places. If we ever have a problem with controlling the weeds, they come back out for free and re-treat the area. Customer service is great which is not always easy to find these days.

Dependable application of lawn care annually with attention to the needs of lawn such as weed control. The service help me maintain a good lawn condition, I am satisfied and have the service over two decades.
Each service summary report provides valuable feedback on lawn condition. Recently added incoming service notification helps customer schedule proper time to cut grass before fertilizer application.

I have been using Lawn Doctor for several years. They have helped to keep my lawn green and almost week-free year after year. If I do get a few weeds, I notify them and they respond quickly. The annual cost is reasonable compared to me buying the products and laying them down myself. I live on a corner lot and people often remarking about how nice my lawn looks.

A couple of years ago, I had a problem with chiggers in my yard. Coincidentally, Lawn Doctor's mosquito control also controls the chiggers. I have been using this extra service for a couple years and it has made my yard much more enjoyable.

Lawn Doctor is a good quality lawn care company. They come and go so fast, I hardly ever see them, but the results are very good. My lawn was green and lush all year. They are responsive too. If you ask about something, they will come out. I like the fact that they are not one of the "big boys". These huge companies make their money on volume business and you are just a number to them. No lawn care is cheap these days, but relatively speaking, Lawn Doctor is perhaps a little more reasonable.

Completed first year of service and very pleased with the staff and the quality of service provided. Neighbors have been using for several years and all provided glowing recommendation. After many years of DIY, results from Lawn Doctor were much better than I ever did. Great family operated business - cares about providing quality service.

Despite the great reviews we would NOT recommend. We used lawn doctor for the first time this fall. They had come highly recommended and had great reviews. We opted to pay a premium for their services as we expected quality results.

We prepaid for power-seeding and fertilizer treatments. The topsoil application and power-seeding went well and we didn’t have any issues until our fertilizer treatments began.
I’ve had to reach out to the company after every fertilizer application. We have encountered a number of issues. They have charged us for a whole treatment and only done half the yard. They’ve charged us for coming to apply a treatment and not show up AT ALL. We have verified this on cameras as I found it odd that I would not see them in my yard. When I’ve contacted them about these issues, they have not apologized. They did offer a repeat service but when they came out to apply it, they just charged us for a new treatment!

I have to micromanage every interaction and am met with deception and no accountability.

No company is perfect and I’ve tried to approach each problem trying to find a solution that allows us to keep working with them, but I’ve been very disappointed at the lack of apology, explanations, or improvement in service quality.

If they claim to service your lawn, you should verify they have in fact completed the service.

over 15 people in line at customer service and only 1 employee. i waited nearly 20 minutes to return 1 item

Worst Walmart I have ever visited. Rude employees, never enough help to assist finding items. Ridiculous lines at self checkout. Observed a manager face timing while standing at self checkout. Poorly ran facility. Drive a couple miles to the newer location. This location attracts hooligans also.

One of the worst garden supply stores I have ever encountered. Prices about the same as other stores, but most of the plants on offer were sad specimens indeed. Walked out after a few minutes realizing that it would be impossible to corral a clerk in a reasonable amount of time, and in any case the merchandise was not worth the price charged for it.
