Tree reviews in Fairfax, Virginia

This huge tree next to my house was uprooting and leaning towards my neighbors house. After the crazy winds from yesterday, had to get it cut down. Highly recommend RS Tree Service! Thank you Roberto!

RS Tree crew were very professional and super nice guys. They showed up on time and did an amazing job in our backyard. They were extra careful with more delicate plants and really cared to make our backyard look nice. The way I found out about them was through one of my friend's recommendation. They also did a great job removing a lot of trees from his backyard.
I'm very happy with the work they did and my wife can't stop raving about how fantastic our backyard looks.
1000% recommended!

I highly recommend RS tree service. Owner Roberto and admin Sarah are excellent to work with. I have had 3 large trees removed in the last 2 years and the crews were wonderful. They did great work cutting up and clearing the trees and debris. Very friendly and extremely accommodating.
I think so highly of the work they do and the reasonable price they offer that I recommended them to 4 neighbors who ended up contracting with them.
Can’t ask for a better tree service company in the area.

My BF can confidently say that his experience with RS Tree Service exceeded all expectations, thanks to their unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction and exceptional service delivery.

From the outset, he was impressed by their professionalism and responsiveness. Despite encountering an initial issue with one of their employees, the owner personally intervened and resolved the matter promptly and professionally. The owners’ proactive approach not only restored my confidence but also highlighted their dedication to ensuring a positive customer experience.

The scope of their work was extensive and executed with precision. They expertly felled two large oak trees, a majestic maple, and skillfully trimmed another tree to perfection. Additionally, their attention to detail was evident in the meticulous removal of ivy from the base of a tulip poplar tree in our backyard.

Throughout the entire process, communication was exceptional. The owner remained in constant contact, providing updates and addressing any concerns promptly. His hands-on involvement and commitment to resolving any minor issues that arose underscored their commitment to quality and customer care.

What truly sets this professional tree service is apart is their accountability and dedication to making things right. Any minor mistakes that occurred were swiftly rectified, demonstrating their commitment to delivering flawless results. Their willingness to go above and beyond to ensure my complete satisfaction was truly commendable.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend RS Tree Service for anyone seeking reliable, professional tree care. Their expertise, combined with their exemplary customer service under the owner's leadership, sets a standard that few can match. For top-notch tree removal, trimming, and impeccable customer service, look no further than R/S Tree Service. They have earned my highest praise and five-star rating without hesitation.

We had a wonderful first experience with RS Tree and Landscaping Services and recently turned to them again when we needed a few more trees taken down. We were delighted to find the same amazing service and workmanship and the same fair pricing.

From the initial call with Sarah we knew once again we were in good hands. She did an amazing job coordinating everything from arranging for an estimate to drawing up the contract to job scheduling to follow up. She did everything quickly and efficiently and with an optimistic, cheerful attitude that made us feel confident everything was under control. And she truly exemplifies the company’s approach to customers - caring, friendly, knowledgeable, professional and efficient. Many companies say the “customer comes first”, but RS Tree and Landscaping actually puts that philosophy into practice right from your first contact with them.

Our experience with Dave and the crew was equally great. From start to finish the job was carried out professionally and efficiently. The crew was focused and hardworking throughout a very long day always showing the utmost respect for each other as well as for us, our property and the property of our neighbors. The clean up was so thorough that the 3 stumps are the only evidence any work was done. Even the saw dust in the street was cleaned up. The crew was very kind and personable which also helped make for a very positive experience.

We are loyal customers and absolutely recommend RS Tree and Landscaping without reservation.

Amazing work today cutting down a dead oak tree in our backyard, pruning several massive oak trees and cleaning out the bushes, shrubs, poison ivy etc and turning our backyard “forest” into a beautiful space. They will be back to put down wood chips in the back. Well done and thank you!!

I could not recommend RS Tree and Landscaping more! Their prices were amazing. They arrived promptly, worked quickly and the end result was way more than I expected. I have already recommended them to several of my friends. Will definitely be using them for any and all future projects! THANK YOU all for being so amazing!

I hardly write reviews but I am making an exception as I've got such a good service that I would feel bad if I didn't.
I used RS tree a few times in the last couple of months. Initially, I chose them because I got a reasonable quote to remove a tree stump and there were also the most responsive and easy to communicate with company. Then, as the first work was done great (on time, as promised and the crew cleaned even the common areas once they were done), I moved to some other projects. I got a few quotes for different work and even though, I ended up just doing a minor work in the end, I didn't feel like I am wasting their time. I am sure I will go back to them for bigger projects. I worked with Sarah and David. They were both very responsive and helpful.

We've used R.S. Tree and Landscaping three times now; each time we received outstanding service at a very reasonable price. Two times we had trees removed and the third time we had our back yard cleaned up and mulched. Roberto and his sons and their assistant Sarah are very easy to deal with, and quite responsive.

Called Roberto because of the reviews on here and can see why there are so many 5-Stars. Called them to have a tree trimmed and his crew took care of it in no time. They were courteous and did a great job cleaning up once they were finished. Pricing was incredibly reasonable and will definitely be calling again for my future needs!

I can’t say enough good things about Roberto and his team. They are extremely talented and care about their craft. Recently there was an ice storm that brought down most parts of a massive willow tree on my property. Roberto was able to come quickly to give me an estimate and was able to get the work completed the very next day! The tree removal was successful and it was in the corner of my yard just feet away from the fence and no damage was done!

His crew was also able to trim two other trees that were close to my house without hitting the house and making everything look good!

Prompt, professional, and I am very impressed!

Keep up the good work if your looking for a tree service look no further than RS tree service they are the ones to handle your job!

I cannot stress enough how professional the crew was in taking down some very large limbs hanging directly over my roof.

The crew was fast, extremely competent, and friendly. Not only did they remove the limbs and provide cleanup, but they even went so far as to use their blower to remove any sawdust that blew into cars in the parking lot.

It's a small detail, but it just goes to show how great these guys are. I would gladly have paid many times as more for the service they provided and they undercut the other three estimates I got by 50%.

I cannot recommend them enough if you need any type of tree service!!

Excellent service! Very professional. I had a few estimates from other companies. Roberto’s honesty and humbleness made me choose his company. I am so glad I did. His price was very fair and reasonable.
I really can't say enough good things about this company. I highly recommend this company. Roberto and his team are exceptional and very friendly. After they removed the stump, they cleaned the entire premises very well.
I would use them in the future and recommend them to others with no doubt.
Thank you. RS Tree & Landscaping Svc Inc

I was hesitant to call in a tree service because I love the tree in front of my house. RS Tree and Landscaping was able to trim and shape the tree without taking away from it's beauty.
They were affordable, fast and efficient. The crew was polite and careful to keep the work area contained so as not to disturb my neighbors. They picked up all the branches and leaves, leaving my front yard looking better than when they started.
Best of all, my tree looks wonderful and healthier.

From the first contact to the completion of the work, Mr. Roberto and crew were prompt, respectful, and professional. The work was excellent and at a fair price. All businesses should be this easy to work with. I have had a lot tree work done in the past, but RS Tree really stands apart from the other guys. Special shout out to Ms. Sinnas, who was delightful and helpful every step of the way! Keep up the amazing work!

On 10-29-25 Ten worker came from RS Tree Service. In 1 day they created 14 lanter boxes for us. They put a long, narrow one along our front sidewalk for my Spring tulips and daffodils. They also removed a large bush we did not want. The price was very reasonable. I will hire them again!

We cannot recommend R&S Tree Service more! We did a major tree removal (10+), stump grinding, and clean-up project. Roberto, his son, and assistant Sarah were very easy to work with. The crew was very professional and did a fantastic job, many of these trees were large and some were hanging over the house. We got five quotes for the project and their pricing was the best, but we chose R&S because we could tell after talking to Roberto he and his team would do the best job. We ended up hiring them immediately after for landscaping as well. We would definitely hire them again for future projects and will be recommending to all of our friends and neighbors!
