We are very pleased with the expertise and hard work of DeMarr Construction to install and connect our exterior water line from a private well to the Fairfax Water main. Brendan explained the process and provided a detailed drawing of the impacted area and tasks to complete the work. He coordinated with our community association and Fairfax county permitting. The installation crew completed the job on time, filled the trench, and covered the area with grass seed and hay. We especially appreciate the clear communications throughout the process and highly recommend DeMarr plumbing.

DeMarr Construction fabricated and installed a 16' x 10' x 4.33' lined concrete planter box and associated drain field for house gutter downspouts that was required by Fairfax County for permit approval of the pool & spa we recently had built.

DeMarr did an incredibly fantastic job and completed the project on time and below estimate! Professional and responsive every step of the way. Great communication and project coordination.

They turned this county requirement from an expected eyesore in our backyard to an attractive complement that blends in with our existing lawn.

I couldn't recommend them more highly to complete a complex project that requires site development, land clearing, excavation and fabrication of concrete forms, etc. requiring close coordination with subcontractors and county inspectors.

Excellent service and craftsmanship. I turned my existing porch into a mud room and it turned out even better than expected! Thank you Rob and Tim for running the project and HUGE shoutout to David and Jose who are master craftsmen!

My Builder provided a reasonable estimate for our renovation, delivered great workmanship, and always treated us with respect. We can't wait to show our family how things turned out!

Would not recommend

I hired MyBuilder (Tim Cebulski) based on a quote that was over $10,000, given solely from my engineering drawings—no site visit. Tim promised a start, but the crew arrived late and unprepared, then couldn’t begin. The next day a different crew showed up late again and said Tim told them this was a “1–2 hour job,” which was alarming given the original ~$10k quote.

They then claimed there was additional work “not in scope” (including masonry) even though it was clearly shown in the drawings I provided. After two days of delays, Tim emailed on saying they couldn’t itemize a quote yet but the “lowest possible” cost had jumped to $19,000–$22,000. When I pushed back about the escalation and lack of prep, he canceled the scheduled framer and engineer instead of standing behind the original plan.

This was poor communication, missed commitments, and a major last-minute price increase. I’ve paused the project and will be seeking contractors who actually inspect the job up front and stand by a realistic quote. I do not recommend MyBuilder or Tim based on this experience.

I have worked with Rob on 3 major projects; 2 renovations and a significate addition to my home. He is knowledgeable about all aspects of building, and did an amazing job incorporating a new roof with my 100 year old house tresses. Rob works with you from start to finish. He is great!

My elderly mother had some handyman work that needed to be done throughout the house and I heard that Remake Remodel does excelled work. They not only took care of the work needed in a timely manner but in less time and at a lower cost then what we had been told by a few companies before. In addition to that, the work was absolutely exquisite. We will be back soon for some items at my house.

Carlos is very knowledgeable and professional. He is a true craftsman and very polite. He always cleans up any mess before stopping at the end of day. He worked for me in Falls Church, VA.

We used Carlos to make some changes to our mudroom. Adding additional cubbies and shelving for shoes. He did a fantastic job, great quality and professional. Will definitely continue to use him for other projects in the future.

Carlos is excellent. He built custom cabinets for us. I was a bit apprehensive as his estimate was loose, but he came in on budget and on time. His work is superb.

Carlos did a fantastic job repurposing two old lawyers bookcases into a gorgeous entryway table/bookcase for me. I told him what I wanted on a Wednesday and the next day (Thursday) it was completed and in the entryway of my home. Can't thank him enough for his outstanding professionalism and superior craftsmanship.

Carlos did a wonderful job on a custom built in for our master bedroom addition. We had a closet from the bedroom beneath the addition that extended into the room creating an awkward layout. He made this unattractive “feature” into a beautiful entertainment center with shelving that is now purposeful and one of our favorite parts of the room. He also installed crown molding in all our bedrooms.

Carlos is great! I had a small job (mailbox installation), and he did a fantastic job. Was on time, finished the work quickly, and even ran to the hardware store to pick up the right size washer when my mailbox didn't come with all of the correct hardware for installation. Will definitely hire him again for some larger projects.

I was impressed by Carlos and his team, my job for them was to install crown molding and ceiling trim - they went the extra mile to cut things at an angle. Not mitered corners, I mean when the molding meets in the middle of the wall because they come in batches of 95" inches, even though most master bedrooms are longer. Instead of cutting and joining molding ends at 95 degrees, they cut at an angle to help preserve the pattern. I didn't think to ask them to do that; they gave 110% on their own. So I'll be hiring them again!
