The owner came to my home unannounced and yelled at me in my own backyard and I had to insist that he leave my property and to never come back...... so there's that.... which is a shame because until then I was soooooo very happy with the service. I loved that I could request services online and I loved that it was organic lawn care.
But.... no matter how good that stuff was, nothing makes up for having someone come into your home and make you feel threatened.
There are a ton of great lawn services out there. This one is probably on the higher end of prices and offerings, so it would behoove you to look elsewhere.
In response to the company’s desperate and transparent rebuttals, I have record of all invoices received and timely payments posted. The very first invoice which the company says was the cause of my anger (but really how could they possibly determine that), was received on May 6. The invoice was paid on May 16. Both facts i have evidence of. There was no late fee ever charged because no late payments were ever made. Such an obvious lie is so easily proven which shows how the company is grasping at any possible straws to detract from these claims. I’m not really sure how lying about a customer’s payment records helps their case that they treat all of their customers honestly and respectfully. Rather, the company would be better suited if they addressed the issue at hand.
If I could post images of all the on-time payments, I would but google doesn’t allow it.
Secondly, there was a “witness” that heard the entire interaction between myself and Jaime Deehan. That witness intends to vouch on my behalf on the official complaint that has been filed with the Better Business Bureau.
So, Mr. Deehan can continue to rant and rave but, I have written records and a third party which support my claims.
Just remember, if you cross these people, they’ll post whatever lies they want online about you. That’s probably a lot more risk than it’s worth to hire someone to cut your grass. Why risk it?

The yard crew does a lovely job. They're friendly and professional, and the owners are responsive and keep us informed about what is planned. We recommended them to our neighbors, too.

Luv their landscape design. I was welcomed into their home for a visit and their backyard appeared to be from another world. Absolutelybreath taking with butterflies everywhere. It had to be their eco-friendly approach. This company knows how to do it right! First hand experience because I watched them remove leaves for us when I was shut in. Each time I thought the job was done another worker did something extra. No problem recommending them.

A great company to work with. They were fast, punctual, and did a great job cleaning up at the end. The landscaping that they did for my home looks great. I would highly recommend Cate and her crew, and will be using them again for all of my landscaping needs.

You could tell that her mentality is not just "get it
done" but "do it right." That was evident with so many of the little
touches that I noticed. Instead of laying sod over just a sprinkling of new topsoil they added several inches of it along with manure so that it would really thrive.

And their crew was so nice whenever I spoke to them about
things. Their attitude was one of someone wanting to please, and that is not
always the case these days. I've worked with dozens of contractors and subs over the years and they really stand out as someone who cares about their work.

They expertly tapered the pressure-treated lumber we had as edging so that the end pieces did not sit up with a sharp corner so close to our basketball hoop. We didn't even ask for that, they just did it. They rearranged flagstone and rock to make the bed around our tree in the back beautiful, again without us asking. And they found extra flagstone I had lying about and used it to make the walkway on the sideyard better than before.

Needless to say the Deehan team did a wonderful job and the yard looks beautiful. They even came back later to add additional mulch and fertilizer. We'd recommend them to anyone.

I bought a house in McLean late last year with an untended backyard and a steep dropoff at the rear -- the yard was filled with Japanese chickweed, moss, mangy bushes, and weeds. I invited five local lawn and landscaping companies to bring ideas and provide estimates. Of these, Deehan Landscaping was the clear standout. Arborist Cate Feck has a wonderful eye and she gave me excellent ideas offered by none of the other firms: We started by moving a stone walkway, expanding a garden, and replanting the lawn -- all expertly carried out by their crew. But that's not all: Cate redesigned a dry creek stone bed on the side of the house, very creatively. (I had my doubts at first, but her plan succeeded enormously and it looks great.) She also came up with a brilliant plan for renovating the back of the yard, creating a smooth slope with newly-planted groundcover, and five new large evergreens. The slope was topped with a line of large boulders meant to slow water drainage and mark the edge of the lawn. My next-door neighbor said he was envious of how nice it looks. Deehan's prices aren't the lowest, but Cate is a really good designer, and I'll be calling on her for continuing advice and additional plantings -- she brings great ideas to every conversation. I strongly recommend Deehan Landscaping.

I have used Deehan Landscaping for my lawn care for several years and have be extremely pleased with their professionalism and their results. They have taken the time to assess my specific lawn requirements and provided advise as to how to correct my lawn and landscaping issues. Their personnel are hard workers and unobtrusive as they work on my yard. In the fall they do an outstanding job of clearing my yard of leaves, making multiple passes to remove the leaves as the season progresses. I always disliked raking leaves and they provide the perfect solution. I highly recommend their services.

After contacting several lawn service companies, we decided that Deehan best fit our needs. They began our lawn service in April 2020. We are extremely pleased with their work and attention to detail. Any weather delays to service are always communicated, as well as detailed billing.
