I had amazing experience at NV kitchen and bath in dulles. Matt the project manager was extremely professional and provided great overall services, but what sold me on there services was their amazing designer Shafa. Shafa designed our kitchen and she is extremely responsive!! I highly recommend NV kitchen Bath in dulles for all your bathroom and kitchen designs

We had a very pleasant experience with this company. NV Kitchen and Bath had renovated our basement for a fair price compared to other remodeling companies out in the Fairfax VA area. Very knowledgeable and helpful customer service. 5 star for their service. Thanks again.

I'm giving them 2 stars; one for the nice designer and one for the quality of materials.
Out master bathroom remodel was really aweful from start to finish. It will be difficult to explain every detail of fault, but will give you a couple of reasons to NEVER hire them. The biggest problem was the tileling the shower. It was sloppy, tile was wavy and crooked. I emailed Sean (the owner) to show him pictures. He came out the next day with Oz and a host of other people. They took down the work that they had done. Re-Demo part of the shower. They said they did a bad job and had someone else do the shower again. One of the shower pieces wasn't cut correctly and thank God I was there to say...*that doesn't look right". (This is piece that the glass sits on) they took it away and yes it was incorrectly measured. More delays at this point. What about the install of the glass door. It leaked! They came out once to add more sealer, but it continued to leak. Oz words, "this has never happened before. This has been a challenging job".
So I emailed them...all of them recently and NEVER got a reply. I think the actual materials are good quality, but there is no craftsmanship. No attention to detail. Currently, the nook in the shower is not straight, the tile in the shower is not done well, drawer pulls are crooked and really there are so many problems I can't list them all and it just makes me upset. When you spend that kind of money it should have been superb. I wish I could upload photos...just don't hire them. -
Excellent remodel of master bath. Huseyin, the Project Manager, was very responsive to all questions/concerns & did not hesitate to address these in a timely fashion. His team does excellent work & is mindful & respectful of the property.
Would definitely use again for any project. -
I strongly recommend against using NV Kitchen and Bath.
After receiving a recommendation from Angie’s List and searching other review sites online, I reached out to NV Kitchen and Bath to request an estimate to finish my unfinished basement. On April 15, 2021, I signed a contract and paid a 50% down payment, which exceeds the allowable legal limit for down payments in my state. The maximum allowable down payment for this kind of project in Maryland is 33% of the total project cost.
The NV team cashed my check immediately, but did not request permits for about two months. I could see the entire permitting process through my county’s online system. Once permits were requested, there came a point where no progress was being made. After contacting NV a couple of times and still seeing no progress, I reached out to the county and got the process completed. Once the permits were approved, it took a couple more weeks for the NV team to begin work.
The NV team began work in my home August 16, 2021. Problems arose almost immediately and the NV team was not responsive and did not resolve issues in a timely manner – for example, they improperly installed the wrong entry door (wrong size, wrong components, wrong style) causing water to come into the basement during heavy rain. This issue, like many others, was never resolved. The onsite crew – not employees of NV, but contracted by the company – ran into constant issues and was frustrated with the lack of responsiveness from the project manager as well. They had to come to my husband and I frequently for instructions because they could not get what they needed from NV.
By mid-September, the Owner and CEO of NV, came to my home and took over as the chief point of contact. An inspection occurred at my home on October 12 and the work performed by NV failed. The county inspector told my husband and I that he did not believe NV was licensed based on the quality of the work he saw in our basement. Following the inspection, NV sent workers to attempt to correct some of the issues identified by the inspector, but their workers created additional problems by closing the soffit with two sprinklers inside. I sent pictures of the enclosed soffit with the sprinklers no longer visible on October 17 and the issue was never resolved. No further work was done in my home by NV.
During the period of time when NV was doing work in my home, their team never worked a full week. When they did show up, they were inconsistent on the time and they played loud music in my basement beginning as soon as they arrived while my family attempted to work and conduct school remotely upstairs.
After a series of contract breaches by NV including exceeding the timeline for project completion, failing to perform work up to code standards (requiring us to pay for someone else to redo the failed components), failing to uphold professional standards, attempts to double charge for work that was previously contracted, and noncompliance with applicable laws – namely, the requirement to be appropriately licensed in the state of Maryland prior to accepting funds or commencing work in the state, by mid-November, we came to a point where we could not move forward.
I attempted to come to a resolution through the Montgomery County Office of Consumer Protection, but NV was uncooperative. On April 13, 2022, the Office initiated criminal charges in the Montgomery County District Court against the CEO and two NV Kitchen and Bath employees.
To date, none of the funds that were illegally collected from me have been returned. -
The workers hired were excellent, but the project manager(s) were unprofessional. The work stated in the contract was not done, we were charged over the price paid for our selections, a final invoice was not provided and we had to haggle by phone and email. Would not recommend until the projects managers are more professional and actually do what the company is hired to do.

Sean is amazing! He is easy to work with and collaborated with design ideas until I had the perfect bathroom. He will make sure you are happy every step of the way. I had such a great experience working with him and his workers and would recommend NV Kitchen and Bath to anyone and everyone. If you are on the fence... don't be. He makes it easy!

NVK&B provides a high quality experience and outcome. From the orignal master bath design by Italo, through the entire remodeling by Project Manager Huseyin, I repeatedly commented on my appreciation of all that they were doing for me. I don't have construction experience, so it was especially helpful that these guys did a lot of hand-holding throughout the design, decoration, styles, & discussions on modern trends & choices. Their staff of plumbers, painters, electricians & tile installers were highly skilled & nice to work with. Actually, I think I got a lot more than I paid for; just an overall good experience.
Thank you, guys!

NV kitchen and Bath just completed a bathroom renovation. We were very pleased with the quality and workmanship of the project. Katelyn put together a 3-D drawing so we could visualize how the bathroom would look and had many suggestions to offer on the materials. The contractors were very conscientious, on time, and completed the job within the timeframe specified. Oz, the project manager, made certain everything was done correctly. He answered every question we had in a timely manner. We would highly recommend NV kitchen and Bath.

We completed a renovation of a full bathroom and kitchen with NV Kitchen and Bath. Their price was competitive with estimates received from 3 other local companies. I chose NV because of their professinalism, interest in doing the job and that they were close to my house. They were on time during the remodeling process and always had their masks, cleaned the project areas before and after. NV kitchen and bath did a great job with our complete remodel. We are enjoying our Kitchen and very modern full bathroom everyday!

We recently completed a total renovation of a small bathroom with NV Kitchen and Bath. Their price was competitive with estimates received from 2 other local firms. I chose NVK&B because of their interest in doing the job and that they were located in my neighborhood.
Edgar conducted a site visit to take measurements and make design suggestions. At their showroom, he helped us pick out all of the new fixtures, tile, etc. He understood what we were looking for and came up with materials that complemented our ideas. We were able to do the material selection in a few hours.
The project started on time. Prior to demolition, they laid down protection on floors and stairs and covered nearby furniture. The demo was done in 2 days.
Overall the work proceeded pretty close to schedule. Workers generally showed up on time. The only significant delay was caused by some of the tile being on back order. Our project manager, Huseyin identified some construction challenges during his walkthrough that allowed the design to be altered before work began. This resulted in no change orders during the project. He was very responsive to calls and text messages and issues that came up as the work proceeded. Specifically, we requested that some tile work be redone and to have a medicine cabinet changed that didn’t fit quite right. Huseyin addressed each of these issues quickly without hesitation.
Overall, we are very happy with the results. -
Generally speaking, the company did a good job remodeling my two bathrooms. Except for some delays due to material availability issues, everything went very well. The crew worked diligently and efficiently. I am impressed By their special attention to the quality of the work. All in all I am satisfied with what they did and I recommend this company for remodeling.

We were pleased with the quality of the work and the crew was always professional. We also appreciated that they took pandemic-related precautions to keep everyone safe at the job site. When an issue emerged after the completion of the project, our Project Manager, Oz, came out himself to make it right.

Remodeling my kitchen was never a part of my to-do-list but when I came across a brochure by NV Kitchen and Bath, I could not help myself but call and get an estimate. By the time the phone call was over, I was already sold and I knew I had to get my kitchen renovated immediately. I had no idea what I was doing but Sean and his team guided me throughout the entire process. They told me which ideas worked and which ones were not practical to have in my kitchen. I was also very impressed at how detailed and intricate their designs were. For an impromptu project, the result was amazing. Every time I go into my kitchen, I feel renewed. It is as if NV Kitchen and Bath knew what I needed in a kitchen before I even thought about it and I am really happy that I chose to remodel my kitchen and that I chose them to do it for me. Forever grateful!

Oz, Gilmer, and the team did an absolutely fantastic job remodeling our master bathroom and installing new floors throughout our condo. The design process was painless, and they patiently worked with us to find the perfect design for our bathroom. Our original floors were extremely difficult to remove, but the team pushed through the difficulty and did an amazing job. Oz worked with us to make sure that the finished product was exactly what we wanted, and we can't thank him enough. If you want to remodel any part of your home, pick NV Kitchen and Bath.

Update: After my original post, the owner, Sean, did reach out to me to discuss the issues. He has committed himself to seeing that all are addressed to my satisfaction and seems to be sincere in making everything right. I will revisit/update this review once the project is done.
@Kristen, I am so glad to hear that Sean reached out to you. I don't have the confidence that the same will happen in my case. My complaints mirror yours exactly. My project (1 kitchen, 2 bathroom remodel) began on Sep 4. After 7 weeks, they have worked a total of 141 hours (assuming an 8-hour day, that is not even 2 weeks worth of work). They don't show up and don't have the courtesy to call/text/email. They hire unskilled workers (floor/backsplash/wall tile had to be redone in some areas due to shoddy workmanship). Nobody supervises the workers (the "supervisor" admitted that they are better at demolition and need to be watched every step of the way). At the rate they are moving, I don't imagine my condo will be back to normal until Thanksgiving, if I'm lucky. On top of all that, the general mgr tried to revise the contract to accelerate payment (they already have 70%). -
Do not use NVKB! We contracted them for a complete remodel of the first level of our TH. First off, they required %50 of the project total and it took them over 90 days to get started. They were supposed to be done in 4 - 6 weeks. It took them 9 weeks. They kept coming up with items that we had been assured by the designer and job foreman were included and part of the contract, only to find they were not, either by omission or disregard or contempt for the client! There were times, no one would show up to do anything for days at a time. One work stoppage… I didn’t see anything done over a three week period of time. There were many, many days where I was told someone was coming to work. And NO one would show up. Mind you… our entry level was completely gutted, there were materials all over and all the appliances in the dining room. Our lower level was unusable as we had to store the entire contents of our kitchen and bath down there. Let me make a real king story short. We paid for first quality materials and labor. Many, many things were done incorrectly if not just poorly! The cabinets looked like they were pulled from another job as they had extra holes in them. They couldn’t even fix a simple leak they had caused in the powder room! We had to call them back for that 4 times! We have many areas that we had to go back over and repaint because poor quality of work and lack of attention to detail by their subs!! I contracted this business to avoid the headaches and hassle of trying to coordinate the subs and services myself! Hah!! The joke is on me. They started out well, but soon the issues started when they informed us how many important items were not ordered, as they should have been, while they were holding my deposit! I do not recommend this business!

NV Kitchen and Bath just remodel my kitchen and I’m pleased with the outcome. The one of things i liked about this company is the quick response time and their willingness to work me and listen to my concerns as the customer. Thank you 🙏

My prior review from 5-6 years ago was removed so am reposting after coming back across this business...
I hired NV kitchen and bath to add a second bathroom to my town house. Overall the finished project is perfect. I am so pleased with my new space. I did have some hiccups along the way (the PM I had was new and I later found out got fired in the midst of my project) which were promptly handled by Sean - he even went as far as buying me a new dryer to make sure all was right in the end.
I am updating this review as a neighbor had recent work by NV and she had many issues and struggles along the way similar to my prior experience- lack of communication, sloppy workmanship, missed timelines, unprofessional interactions with staff.
I had the pleasure of renovating my kitchen with a different contractor and realized how easy the process can be when done right which is why I felt the need to update this. I would not use NV again given my friend’s experience and my experience with a more professional team. -
In January of 2022 we decided to get a facelift for our kitchen. We were keeping the existing cabinets, but changing the floor, back splash, countertops and getting a new island. We chose NV Kitchen and Bath (“NVKB”) in Falls Church to do the work, based on the rave reviews we saw on the internet. Our experience was not consistent with those stories.
We signed the contract in February of 2022 because they promised the project could be completed within 4-5 weeks . However, the contract is crafted to make the beginning and ending completely ambiguous so there’s no ability to require a certain timeline for completion.
Now, almost 2 years later the project is not done. They last communicated with us on October 25th, 2023, promising to continue and finish the work. However, to date, they have not fulfilled those promises and we haven’t heard from them since October 25, 2023. Our last request to them was by email, sent on December 7, 2023.
The problems with NVKB began immediately from the start. To get a new island took three months and one of the cabinets they ordered was the wrong size. While we were waiting on the right materials, we were told the manufacturer, (“Kemper”), no longer made those cabinets. We were told to pick a substitute.
We offered NVKB to drop off the substituted items to our house. When we opened the boxes, the color of the hood did not match the island. Again, Kemper didn’t have a hood of a matching color. We had to order a new hood (not Kemper) and it took additional two months. As the backsplash would be installed around the hood, the crew couldn’t begin work.
To add insult to injury, when they had to return the wrong hood, they tried charging us a restocking fee. They ultimately relented, admitting we shouldn’t have to pay. Additionally, we have cameras installed throughout our property. When a project manager of NVKB was seen on camera, removing six boxes of tiles from our garage without any authorization , we complained to NVKB and they returned them but only after two months. This was a disturbing event nonetheless.
After addressing our concerns with them on October 25, 2023, their Operations Coordinator, Victor, agreed to remedy the problems and said he will be in touch. Nothing was heard from them thereafter.
Nevertheless, every single thing NVKB touched in our kitchen was damaged (broken tile, damaged island, wobbling floor, scratched trim of the refrigerator, electrical problems with installation of the lights). We expect it will take thousands of dollars to complete the work and do the necessary repairs.
Please be aware that our experience with NVKB has been a disaster. They promised to be done in 4 to 5 weeks. They should have known that this was an impossible task, but we relied on that promise to enter into a contract, they took our money, they have not completed the job and we are damaged to the tune of thousands of dollars.
Our advice is to consider a different company if you are planning on a kitchen upgrade. If you do choose them, install cameras everywhere, insist on fixed beginning and ending dates in the contract, penalties for going over the promised ending date and demand an ability to terminate the contract for cause. Lastly, hire an attorney help modify their form contract before signing. We wish we had done so. -
The process took slightly longer than expected but the final product made it the wait worthwhile! We love the new layout and routinely get compliments on how well designed our kitchen is. When we encountered any issues our project manager, Oz responded each time. NV Kitchen and Bath stand by their work. ”
