Just had some privacy fence and a new larger gate installed. Excellent workmanship and a great company to deal with. Very happy with the new fence.

They did an amazing job repairing my gate after a tree branch fell and completely ripped the hinges out of the post. Even though it was a smaller job and their schedule was packed, Tavon still made time to squeeze me in, communicated clearly throughout the process, and got it done quickly and professionally. My gate looks and works better than before! I really appreciated his follow-through and work ethic. I highly recommend Family Affair for any fence repair big or small!

I got stuck behind one of their vehicles on armistead and they had no trailer lights, no indicator lights, and they cut me off twice in traffic. They had a bunch of loose trash in their trailer and it was blowing out all over the road and onto my truck as well as the other vehicles around them. I cant speak on the work that they do, but the way they carry their vehicles is actually trifling.

They have done many projects for us. Always on time, very hard working, affordable and they have an amazing amount of experience. Highly recommend them for anything landscaping, stone pavers or any mowing or trimming and planting and mulching. Just a great company with great people. Call them first or call them last, just call them. You will be happy that you did.

We are very pleased with the landscaping work done this week. We had some older trees removed and new placed as well as mulching.
Tristan and Arimin did a wonderful job and the yard looks beautiful! Would recommend very highly!

My friend worked there and laughed at how this business is run. Everyone paid under the table and had Iittle knowledge about anything but lawn maintenance. Need your grass cut, call them. Anything else check super pages or ask supply houses for references.

Quality landscaping at a fair price. They were quick to respond to my inquiry, and quick to schedule our back yard landscaping. Now we have a patio our neighborhood is envious of!

We have been working with Rich for ten years. He did the original grading for our house and the landscaping. He has built a patio and currently maintaines our flower beds. EXCELLENT JOB EVERY TIME!

Despite the one star review, I wanted to form my own opinion on this company. I called on three separate occasions to get a rose bush and plants pulled from my yard. They called back and said that they will try and get to me the same day, if not, maybe the next. I did not hear from them the day of or the next. I called and left a message to verify if they were still coming and my phone call was not returned. I called a few days later and left a message; my phone call was not returned, yet again. I find that very unprofessional. If you are booked and cannot fulfill the request at least have the decency to call and explain the situation. I would not recommend this company.

Darnell Landscaping did an excellent job on our backyard patio (round patio with a walkway that connected to our driveway and a path to utilities)! From quote to the end product it was a great experience, Mr. Darnell even stopped by regularly to check on progress! Our patio was completed ahead of initial schedule and turned out beautifully!

Darnell Landscaping is a highly customer service oriented business! I contacted them via an email over the weekend and with the next business day the owner Richard had contacted me. We scheduled a day and time him to come by and look at my property within a few days and Richard understood exactly what I wanted and has even worked with my budget constraints. This was especially important to me as I am a recently retired disabled veteran. Richard's team were extremely dedicated and Master's at their craft. They took a yard that was dismal and in no way an area to entertain, and turned it into an area set to be a hit in the spring and summer. I highly recommend Darnell Landscaping because they really care about their customers and the projects they take on.

I requested a quote for a paver stone patio and lawn treatment service contract. Took a while to call back, but eventually owner and his son came to my house to do the quote. Good conversation and professional. After 4 days I had not heard from them, so I emailed and asked about status. They said they were still trying find the stones that match my other patio area. After 2 days they said they couldn't find the material. I replied the same day and asked what style/color they were looking for and said I would consider another pattern/color. No response. Two weeks later I emailed again asking if they found materials and if they were still sending me a quote for lawn treatment service. No response. I really wanted to do business with a company that could do the patio, lawn treatment service, and a few other projects I have in mind, but slow/no response is very frustrating and worth a 1-star rating.
