Technician carefully checked and tested the system including things that are specific to my system. He was thorough and went the extra step to make sure things were not only done well, but also looked clean and professional.

I am a new customer. I made my appointment with Jackie. She was very friendly and explained their maintenance package. Lewis was prompt to the appointment. He was very professional, respectful and informative. I believe that if I have an issue with my heating or cooling system in the future I am in very good hands. I look forward to my check up in the spring!

Lewis provided excellent preventative maintenance service on our heat pump. He was on time, knowledgeable and carefully answered our questions. We appreciated his thorough explanation of the process and his findings. He discovered a failing capacitor, which was replaced as part of the visit.

Update Additional review, different service. 2nd review- They are very efficient. During regular maintenance, Lewis found a potential problem for a system only 4 years old. He showed us the problem, answered all of our questions, didn’t hesitate to call the office for additional information and offered several solutions. He was very professional, encouraging discussion and did not push his opinion. We chose the best solution for us. Highly recommend!

I am glad that Kearney and Sons took care of our home A/C needs. They were very honest with the issues we had and provided their recommendations which was to replace our whole AC system and ducting. All which was not operating optimally and the ducting was compromised with mold. We were happy with the technicians who replaced our system and ducting work (Patrick and Cameron Jones) they were hard at work, very courteous, and did a great job in removal and installation. We were grateful that with our systems being out during the warmer days, they setup some temporary window units for us to help keep us cool. I would recommend Kearney and Sons to anyone as they clearly care about their customers.

Sticker price was a shock but everything is expensive. The fianceing was so helpful especially for seniors. All the guys were great. Explained all details. Very professional. Will definitely get the maintenance plan.

Excellent service by technician. Was able to come service heating unit during an after hours emergency situation. Arrived within 30 minutes of request call. Tech was very knowledgeable and after his analysis, was able to easily explain the problem, solution, and recommendations. Tech did exactly as explained and unit is operational.

Kearney & Sons was professional and courteous. Their repairmen covered their shoes with shoe covers to avoid tracking up my home. The service desk persons were responsive and friendly. They accomodated my schedule and were helpful with suggestions. I think they overbooked me, but it was ok. I got extra service. I have a service contract, and it cost me nothing extra for this service. The repair men arrived on time and in the respective service windows. Their service contract was not expensive. Much more reasonable than their Virginia Beach Competitor.

I have a maintenance agreement with Kearney and Sons, Inc. therefore, no funds were involved with the maintenance check of my heating unit. Lewis the technician provided an excellent review of my system. Prior to arriving at my home, he provided a courtesy call to inform me that he was on his way. Each time Lewis entered my home, he ensured that he placed boots over his shoes. He changed my filter and informed me that I should change my filter at least every 45 days and to date the filter as he had done. He showed me the process of changing a filter which I truly appreciate. Lewis explained what he was doing and asked me if I had any questions. Because of his professional and knowledgeable attitude, I would like to request that he provides my maintenance services as required.

I am very happy with the service I got from Jacob (with the curly hair). He was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what he was diagnosing and was patient with my questions. He also took initiative and scheduled a follow-up appointment with me on the spot before leaving. Give this man a raise! Next time I need help with my heating and cooling, I'll make sure to call Kearney and Son's first.

Spencer Urban and Anthony Rice arrived promptly as scheduled. They were very professional and completed the installation in a reasonable amount of time. They told me they should be finished around 3pm and they were. They brought drop cloths and laid them down to ensure my carpet and other items didn’t get messed up and they cleaned up their areas once the job was done. I would highly recommend Spencer and Anthony for your installation needs.

Really excellent service call. Ian is great—he explained lots of details about our aging system and made suggestions for upgrades and solutions we can implement immediately. We want to be on “Team Ian” forever!

All stars and I know a little about heatpumps since I personally maintained my old system 29 years.

They did a first class installation of a complete 15 SEER heatpump, line-set, thermostat, and airhandler meeting a page full of my specific requirements but obviously what what they were going to do.

I had my entire ductwork system replaced and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The whole team — from the admin staff to estimator Roger, and the installation crew Patrick and Cameron — was professional, polite, and prompt. They solved an airflow issue in a room that had never gotten enough air, they kept all work areas clean throughout the process, and they finished quicker than was estimated. Excellent service all around. Highly recommend!
