Constraction reviews in Midlothian, Virginia

we wanted our driveway completely redone with interlocking pavers that would withstand heavy vehicles. lhc driveway & patio pavers managed the entire project from excavation to final finishing. the team installed a compacted gravel base and sand layer to ensure stability, then laid pavers in a diagonal pattern to create visual interest. decorative borders were added, and edges reinforced to prevent movement. careful attention was given to slopes and drainage to avoid water pooling near the garage. the team also cut pavers around mailbox posts, corners, and landscaping features with precision. the finished driveway is both durable and elegant, perfectly balancing functionality and curb appeal.

LHC Driveways & Patio Pavers is amazing! They did our backyard paver patio and also a 10’ fireplace complete with firewood boxes on each side and sitting walls. We’ve used the heck out of it over the last 5 years and haven’t noticed anything settling or aging or anything. Josh and his team are great at communicating through the process and made sure we were happy throughout the project. Can’t recommend them enough! Great company, great people and great service!

I hired them for a brand new driveway install after a renovation project made the old one look completely out of place. lhc driveway & patio pavers explained how the new driveway would tie into the garage and walkway so it didn’t feel awkward or mismatched. they removed the existing surface, built the base correctly, and installed the pavers with attention to spacing and long-term stability. the work was completed in january 2024, and even early on you could tell the driveway wasn’t going anywhere. it feels intentional, not temporary 💪

We could not be more pleased with LHC Landscaping! They built our stone patio and fire pit, and the entire experience was fantastic. They truly listened to our ideas, were friendly, professional, and always prompt with their responses. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Such a pleasant experience—highly recommend!

Recently had lhc driveway & patio pavers in midlothian completely redesign our backyard patio and connecting pathways. the project began with a full excavation of the existing surface, followed by grading and compacting the sub-base to ensure proper drainage and stability. a reinforced gravel and sand foundation was laid before the pavers were installed. the team chose a combination of herringbone and basket weave patterns, integrating decorative borders along the edges for a polished, high-end look. curved sections around planters and built-in seating were hand-cut and fitted perfectly, and subtle textures were applied to the walking surfaces for slip resistance. integrated steps were constructed between different levels, carefully maintaining slope for water runoff. the team also added accent lines using contrasting colors to highlight transitions and architectural features. every corner, edge, and curve was meticulously finished to create a cohesive, durable, and visually stunning outdoor space. the patio is now fully functional for entertaining, lounging, and daily use, and it dramatically improved the aesthetic appeal of our home in midlothian.

Hired lhc driveway & patio pavers for a driveway replacement and the difference is honestly huge. our old driveway was cracked, uneven, and looked worn out. we’re in the midlothian area and wanted a solution that looked better and would last longer, so we decided to go with pavers.

the crew was professional and organized. they removed the old material, prepped the base properly, and made sure everything was level before installing the pavers. i really appreciated how careful they were, because you can tell when someone rushes paver work and it ends up uneven later.

the finished driveway looks amazing and feels solid. it also completely upgraded the look of the front of the house. i’ve already had neighbors ask who we used. if you’re around midlothian and want quality paver work done right, lhc driveway & patio pavers is a great choice.

LHC Driveway & Patio Pavers did an exceptional job on our patio, fireplace, and grill surround, and their handling of the HOA approval process was phenomenal! Their team was professional, proactive, and worked diligently with my HOA to secure all necessary approvals, making the process easy and seamless.
The craftsmanship is top-notch, and the quality of their work is exceptional, with the final results transforming our family's outdoor area into a gorgeous space we'll cherish for years. They kept me informed every step of the way and completed the project on schedule, even accommodating our last-minute requests! I strongly recommend LHC for anyone seeking high-quality patio features!

Very good company! They go the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied with the service.

Very friendly and helpful. During Spring and summer and fall if you need landscaping done they have a crew for that. If you're driveway needs paving they do that. During winter if u need snow removal they have you covered. If you're property gets hit by hard storms they do storm cleanup.

I am not aware of the quality of work however I too have had a run in with a Driver. I was rear ended at a stop sign at the start of the month and was offered out of pocket repairs instead of insurance repairs. After getting the quote, I became less urgent of a priority. The HR department is very illusive and always in meetings not pertaining to my issue.

A dump truck driver for this company almost ran us off the road. He was speeding in the right hand lane as I was merging. I'm not a slow driver and I was up to 70 when he was on my bumper. Wish I had a camera to record the reckless driver. I had my 5 year old in the car at the time!

One of their employees felt self centered enough to take up 3 parking spaces at Costco the week of thanksgiving.

Damaged my car and told me to file a claim on my own insurance. You can clearly see asphalt about to continue to fall from back of vehicle; Dale was also very rude and confrontational

Thanks to Lee, we can now enjoy our back yard without all the mud! Along with his team, Lee created a beautiful stamped concrete walkway and patio that we will enjoy for years to come. He is professional and available when needed—both highly respected characteristics of a contractor. You can count on him to do the job right and efficiently.

Lee and his crew exceeded my expectations. My yard was an eye soar. He installed stamped concrete and prepared it for a pavillion. The job was Awesome!!! I am going to have him and his crew come back to do more work for me and I will refer my family and friends. Great work at a Great Price!!!

Lee was a great resource for us. He was prompt, knowledgeable and even helped us with a change in the permit. He got the deck completed in a very timely fashion. He gave us great service great pric.es and we would definitely use him again.

Lee is the man! He responded immediately to my inquiry and came right over to review and give a quote. Which was super reasonable and detailed. He and his team showed up right when he said they would and finished within the time frame given. Any post construction little issues that popped up Lee came right over personally and rectified them.
Very very happy with the work that was done. In short, Lee does what he says he will do. That’s a rarity these days. Use him and don’t waste your time waiting on anyone else to even return your calls much less show up.
Thanks again Lee!

Lee and his team were great to work with. He came right out to provide an estimate on the work and broke down everything step by step. The porch came out perfect and he even fixed a broken board on our back porch without me even asking. I could not recommend him enough and will be using him for future work at our house!

Lee and crew exceeded our expectations and brought our vision to reality. We wanted a new wooden deck to replace our old one, and that’s what we got. Plain and simple. No pushy sales, no gimmicks. These guys have been building decks for a while and it shows. It’s very much a family operation. They work well together to get the job done efficiently and professionally. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Highly recommended!!

We were very pleased with LHC services. They renovated our wrap-around porch and replaced two sets of porch steps. Their work was professional, timely, and reasonably priced. They were knowledgeable and gave us good advice. They were also a pleasure to work with! We will recommend this company to all our friends!👍 the Fergusons

In July I had my 16 year old deck evaluated; I can’t believe how good the remodel looks — BRAND NEW.

After getting 3 bids, it was a no brainer to use LHC Services. My first choice out of the 3.

Exact instructions on what was going to be done was clear and concise. No surprises.

His workers were on time, polite and even gave me a helping hand with my groceries. I watched there workmanship and noticed that the cuts were precise with no waste of materials.

They finished on time and clean up was immediate and owner came for final inspection. I feel that I got more for my money. YES, I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!
