Since we purchased our home in Norfolk in July, 2022, we have employed Coastal Custom Construction for half-a-dozen significant renovation projects. We have been extremely pleased on all fronts! They are prompt, do excellent quality work and on schedule, their prices are quite reasonable, and are always most respectful. Wish more businesses were like them. Our highest recommendation!

We hired Coastal Custom Construction for a 12x15ft deck project on the side of our house. They are very professional and knowledgeable. They promptly answered any questions or concerns that we had. The workmen were friendly, efficient, and cleaned up thoroughly every day. The supervisor visited several times and spent a lot of time talking to us about the project. We have no complaints about Coastal Custom Construction. Would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new deck or porch!!!

Loved working with Lisa. She was always responsive to my questions & called me back to discuss the jobs her and her team were doing on my home. I needed to get my back deck replaced since it was rotting & the boards were starting to be unsafe. Coast Customs came out to my property & did an awesome job. The deck was removed & stairs were made, absolutely beautiful. After that work was done, Lisa’s team helped me with my front porch which needed some work as well. The stairs were replaced, the existing deck was treated & painted. I was so relieved that work was completed since the entire back porch needed to be removed. Great work done as well! Even after that 2nd job, I asked Coastal Customs to come back a 3rd time since this paneling around my house was starting to dissolved. Lisa had experts come up & replaced all the dissolved wood and replace it with metal. It puts a nice touch on the house & is why more reliable. Thanks Lisa!

Jesse and his crew did a complete bathroom remodeling/install. They did a great job with the limited space, creating a great space. They were clean, professional, and timely.

I hired this company to update my old 1962 Jack and Jill bathroom to make 2 full bathrooms by adding a small shower. The prices were very reasonable and I am very pleased with the results. I expect to hire them again.

Jesse and his team were great. Best contractors we have worked with since living in Virginia. They completely rebuilt the front porch on our 99 year old home. Excellent communication and quality work. They take pride in the work they do and it shows!

Outstanding service overall. Communication with the office (Elizabeth & Lisa) was solid. Having a very old window crank replaced, the parts were out of stock and hard to find. Jesse did the research, got the required parts, and the replacement is now good as new. I highly recommend Coastal Custom Construcction and will gladly utilize their services (if required) in the future.

We are very pleased with our full bathroom remodel completed by Coastal Custom Construction. Jesse and his crew did a wonderful job! Customer service was great and the crew cleaned up after each work day. They were easy to work with and would definitely use again for future projects!

My attic had a broken vertical truss. Called for an estimate and Jesse came out. He was friendly and noted the problem and solution quickly. His estimate was half of what other contractors offered. This made me skeptical, so I did some research. Their estimate came with their license ID and insurance amounts. So it was easy to look up. Given that and his fix was the same as the other contractors, I went with them.

Communicating with the office was pretty smooth. They were able to fit me in a couple weeks. Which is fine since it wasn't an urgent issue, but couldn't wait too long. Jesse and Joe came out. Jesse was there to supervise and Joe got the truss fixed up. They were friendly and respected my home.

I will definitely consider them if I need more work on my house!

My first experience with a contractor so of course I was nervous, but Jessie showed up when he said he would, worked diligently to complete the job and also went above & beyond to do other jobs I wanted done , it was a wonderful experience,I would recommend him 100% !

Jesse was great and worked closely with us every step of the way to ensure things got done. Even with a clerical error situation, they pivoted immediately without hesitation and resolved everything cleanly. Very transparent and honest.

We called Coastal Custom Construction as we needed our kitchen ceiling redone. Jesse came in and evaluated our situation. The very next day he showed up with his guys and the whole project was done within hours. They were very knowledgeable and skilled. Thanks to Jesse and his crew for excellent workmanship on our kitchen remodel. We are super happy with his carpentry, tile work and ability to work around construction issues that pop up sometimes. He was the GC for the project from start to finish and made sure things were done exactly right with tile, lighting, plumbing etc. He cares if the customer is happy and takes a lot of pride in his work. He wants the work done expertly and completes a lot of the work himself. On our project, he worked with Andie Ryan, who did the design portion and expert painting on the cabinets. We went from a dark and dated kitchen to a bright, elegant and modern kitchen that looks completely new. Jesse’s carpentry skills are especially top notch. He was able to re-use all our existing cabinets, add additional carpentry and we love our brand “new” kitchen. Thanks Coastal Custom Construction.
