Met Southern Solar, Inc while he was doing a door to door campaign and found out that one of my friends had solar installed by his company. They are a local company which is a plus for easy communication. They explained everything in detail and was there every step of the way. I can call in any time if any question pops up in my head and they would always explain everything in detail. They helped with completing our paperwork and was very detail oriented as well. We are going to recommend them to our friends!

The best decision we ever made was choosing Southern Solar Duke was phenomenal on the sales side – patient, honest, and never pushy. I couldn't be happier with my install by Southern Solar. Korab did an excellent job of educating me on solar, and many different facets including SRECs, pros and cons of battery storage, and net metering. Garfield and the installation team were incredibly professional, and even discovered a rodent issue when doing the electrical work, which they brought to my prompt attention.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Southern Solar, and especially with Matt Burrier. From the very beginning, Matt went well above and beyond what I expected from a solar installer. He provided a clear and realistic installation timeframe and then worked nights and weekends to make sure everything stayed on track.

Matt personally ensured my insulation work was completed on time so the system could be installed before the federal tax rebate deadline, which made a significant financial difference for my family. That level of commitment is rare and speaks volumes about how seriously he takes his customers.

What really set Matt and Southern Solar apart was the attention to detail and advocacy throughout the entire process. Matt handled all of the paperwork flawlessly and made sure the system was designed to maximize capacity so it could fully support my home’s electrical needs. This includes running air conditioning during peak summer months and charging three electric vehicles without issue.

Called him, availability was quick and responsive. Called in the morning and arrived by noon. He looked at my hallway lights that were flickering, had the part on his truck and repaired lights. Only charged 100$. Great service

Danielle the receptionist is super nice and understanding. A gentleman named Drake came out fixed my leaking sink caused by a plumber hired by Home Depot. He also installed my security system, ceiling fans, and exhaust fan. He has come out on multiple occasions to work on my house. He’s replaced dryer parts, connected my attic fan, and more. He’s quick, reliable, honest, and extremely fair with pricing. 10/10 recommend.

Cannot recommend enough! Found a recommendation on the military spouse page and was super nice and extremely fair priced Very military friendly. I paid $100 each to mount an 86” and a 55” TV. Super friendly and even suggested mounts beforehand to save me money. Also, was able to get here and complete the job less than 24 hours after we called.
