Tree reviews in Norfolk, Virginia

Mike & Mike and the entire True Gen team did an amazing job removing 3 huge pine trees from our backyard, including stump grinding, mulch removal and cleanup. They were very mindful about treating our property carefully and took extra steps to ensure that no damage was caused by their equipment. The staff was courteous and professional and worked together efficiently to get the job done quickly. I highly recommend them and will definitely utilize their services on the next project we'll undertake in the spring.

True Gen Tree Service exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Mike was extremely professional, responsive, and knowledgeable. He provided a same-day quote and offered excellent rates that beat the previous quotes we received.

The crew removed 6 of our trees, each approximately 60 feet tall, using professional-grade equipment to complete the work safely and efficiently. Despite the size of the job, everything was done quickly without cutting corners.

They handled every detail — grinding all 6 stumps, removing and hauling away all branches and debris, cleaning off the patio deck, and raking the entire yard.

It’s rare to find a tree service that is this organized, hardworking, and respectful of your property. Their attention to detail and professionalism truly stood out. I would highly recommend True Gen Tree Service to anyone needing tree removal or stump grinding. We will definitely use them again.

Best price in Hampton roads.

Awesome guy. Did a great job. Great price!

With a name like “Stump Man Jamie” how can you go wrong? I found his business off of the Facebook marketplace. He showed up the next day promptly and for the fairest price ever, removed 2 stumps. His machine didn’t wreck the grass either. Took out the stumps in under 5 mins. If I had known about him earlier I wouldn’t have spent all day trying to get it out myself. 5/5 stars my man.

I called on a Friday and service was completed the next day at a very reasonable price. Met my expectations. I would highly recommend them for your tree and stump removal.
