Electrical reviews in Powhatan, Virginia

CJ was contracted by our apartment company and I am so thankful he was the one sent to do the job! Thank you for your help and your professionalism while I sorted things out with my apartment complex this morning. Once we move into a house, we will be sure to contact AMP Electric and ask for CJ! Thank you!!

Owner drops a few guys off who hate working for him they say to me. Then they stole as much of my stuff they could get by me. The cost is pretty close to a felony charge. I still may file charges.
Shotty work......
keep one eye on your belongings.

Great experience with Ian and Sparky from AMP. They were great problem solvers and got to my projects really expeditiously. Fair pricing and great work.

I’ve used them twice now and had great experiences both times most recently they did the electrical for a kitchen remodel. Everything was great and they were on time and professional. Recommend!

They showed up when they said they would, in fact contacted me to see if earlier would work and finished in less than an hour tracking down a mysterious problem. Diagnosed and Fixed in one trip.

I recently called to check on my circuit breaker issue & a ceiling fan installation. They were very professional, friendly & fast. I would recommend them.

Recently I contacted Chris regarding an electrical issue. He was unable to assist, however he did take the time to provide a follow up explanation. I was very much appreciative and will definitely use him in the future if the need arises.

The Amp Electric electrician was very prompt, trustworthy & meticulous in his work to diagnose the issue, rule out other causes, and replace a dimmer switch using a part he had on the truck. He also answered all of my questions.

Great job Ian and Sparky! Nice guys , VERY efficient. Even vacuumed up a little dust from the install. Everything works perfect and exactly as anticipated. Thank You!

Repair person came within a few hours of calling, earlier than they estimated. And at least our issue only took a half hour to swap out a couple breakers.

Communicative, personable, and efficient. Took care of everything in one visit, on time and within estimate. Highly recommend and will use again, thanks!

Friendly staff, responsive and professional electricians. They showed up same day a repaired an outlet in my house quickly. Definitely recommend them based on my experience.

Easy to schedule, great communication and decent value. The gentlemen who did the work were very nice, respectful and professional. The work quality was very good.

Chris Gravely, owner of Amp Electric, is wonderful to work with. He is always responsive, detailed oriented and polite. I like that he will volunteer information because this isn't necessarily your area of expertise. Even after the job was done, he was responsive to any glitches or concerns I had. Amp Electric is great!

These guys are great. Showed up on time, worked hard and replace the whole panel in 5 hours. Even did some free debugging and fixing after they were done.

Chris and his crews have been lifesavers for me during our move/remodel. We have an older home and Chris was very knowledgeable about the best solutions for updating the electrical, ensuring safety, and making sure we got what we wanted at the end of the day. Chris's attention to detail was a lifesaver- he realized that water was getting into the electrical panel from a cracked service line and took the trouble to make sure everything was ship shape before we put the new box in. I cannot recommend AMP electric highly enough.

Ian and Sparky were fantastic to work with. Not only were they professional, but extremely helpful and thorough. I will definitely use AMP Electric again!

So easy to schedule and the work is impeccable!! if it is possible, they can do it. I feel like some of the things I have asked them to do ever New Year’s seem like a tall ask, they have never let me down with their creativity and getting project done.

Excellent service all around! Prompt and friendly communication to get a quote and schedule, high quality and efficient work, and we are so happy with the results! 100% perfect all around.

The electricians from AMP Electric were absolutely terrific and exceeded all expectations! We have already referred the company to two of our neighbors. The fan installation is absolutely perfect, and the whole-house surge protector was installed quickly and the electrician explained the details of having this device installed. We are happy with the service and the professional demeanor of the company and will use them again without reservation.

Amp Electric has handled all of my electrical needs for the past few years. Chris and his crew are always polite, professional and prompt with their service. They can handle simple fixture switch outs to panel upgrades, rewires and back up generators. I always recommended them and I look forward to working with them again.
