These guys are amazing to watch. They’re more like beavers than woodchucks. I never seen a team more organized and efficient. They cut down two large maple trees, three large shrubs, removed the lumber, ground the stumps, blew the saw dust away and were gone in less than two hours. Highly, highly recommend these guys and gals! In fact, my neighbors saw them work in my yard and were so impressed, they had them come back to remove their trees!

Update to my original review below - I was able to get in touch with Woodchuckers' administrative staff and was not held responsible for the late fees. The administrative staff let me know that they had misspelled my name within my email address and that is why I did not receive the initial invoice. Because the late fee issue was corrected, I changed my start rating from 2 stars to 3 stars. However, I stand by this 3-star rating because of the frustration of simply trying to pay for this work to be done. I want to emphasize that I'm extremely happy with the work (very quick and well-done); however, the hassle to get in touch with Woodchuckers when I didn't receive an invoice earned them this rating in my opinion. The fact that it took 4 months to mail me an invoice (or try to reach back out to me in any other way) despite my multiple attempts to contact them and provide my phone number is unacceptable.

Initial review - My review is based on 2 experiences - the work they did and the billing process. I called Woodchuckers to remove a small tree from my front yard. I called, set up a quote, and received a quote all in the same day. Within a week the tree was removed and they did a great job. They removed the tree, ground the stump, and cleaned up afterward. I could barely there was ever a tree there. I was super happy with the quick work and the price they quoted. After the work was done I was told an invoice would be mailed to me.

This is when Woodchuckers went from getting a 5-star review from me to a 2-star. I waited for an invoice but never received one so I called about 10 days after the job was done. I left a message saying I was happy with the work and wanted to pay for the services but hadn't gotten an invoice yet. I received no response and no invoice. I called again about a month later to inquire about the invoice. Same thing - no response and no invoice. Over 4 months after the work was done I finally receive an invoice which INCLUDES LATE FEES and threatens to send to me collections if the balance is not paid within 90 days of the work being completed (which I'm well over that already upon receipt of initial invoice!).

I'm extremely disappointed in the billing process and customer service I received. This company is very disorganized and for this reason, I do not recommend using them. If I had just received the invoice late but without the extra fees I wouldn't have an issues, but the fact that I called multiple times to try to pay with no response and then am billed 4 months later and charged late fees is ridiculous. They really did do great work and were super fast, so I hate that this is my final impression of this company. Get it together, Woodchuckers.

Devan and his Woodchucker's team came to our home on Monday, 1/2/23, to remove two trees and prune a few others.

All of his team arrived on time, Devan and I briefly reviewed the work to be done, and they promptly started the project. It was obvious in watching Devan in his bucket truck that he is a seasoned professional and that he went to great lengths to safely bring the trees down. During the project Devan communicated with me when necessary, and he and his team were friendly and totally professional.

Devan's team split up and chainsawed the one oak tree for firewood for us, and they truly went the 2nd mile in cutting the wood in very usable lengths.

Devan and his team did everything they said they would do, and then they used leaf blowers to make our yard even cleaner than it was before!

Devan does all of this at a real value economically for his customers. Tree removal is not cheap, but his price was very reasonable and a great value for us.

I'll be using Woodchucker's again the next time we need tree removal.

Had a large oak tree fall across entire back yard destroying/damaging a few other trees on the way down, which needed some cleanup. Met with the owner the next day for an estimate. He walked me through what needed to be done and gave me a fair price (better than 4 other companies i talked to, and for more work/cleanup than the other guys quoted). They were able to start the removal/cleanup a couple of days later. The crew arrived on time, were very friendly/ knowledgeable, and they were fast! Aside from missing trees at the end of the day, you would not have known they had been there. The property was completely clear of debris at the end. Will certainly use Woodchuckers Tree Service again when the time comes.

I've used Woodchuckers multiple times and every experience has been excellent. They always bring a team of four or five so the job gets done efficiently.

They do service for a majority of the neighbors on our street. We recently had a tree come down across our driveway blocking both cars. They were very responsive and able to do the quote in the morning (very fair price) and remove the tree in the afternoon. You could barely tell the tree had been there they cleaned up so nicely. They really helped my family out in a time of need. I would highly recommend them.

Great job cutting down a dead pine tree. They work efficiently and safely. Super job cleaning up. I highly recommend!

If you need a tree service co. These are the folks to call-100%- The whole team was a pleasure to have at our home. On time, great work and left the site looking great. We will have them back for more work!

Above and beyond! I had two large trees removed and others trimmed. Pricing was more than fair. Very professional, showed up 15 minutes early with the right equipment and crew for the job. All work completed the same day and cleaned up everything. I will use them again for sure. Great job!

We had 6 good size trees removed by Devin and his crew. Pricing was more than reasonable for the work done. I was not disappointed with the exceptional teamwork by his crew and their efficiency. They went above and beyond. Everyone was very professional and courteous, I couldn’t ask for better service! I definitely recommend giving them a call! Anything I have in the future they can do, I will be calling them!

Wonderful, hardworking staff, also very thoughtful and kind. We had several large trees removed, along with lots of debris. They worked very hard, and were great at cleaning up after they were finished. You can tell they care about their work and clients. They came with every tool, or equipment needed and it was impressive to say the least. Truly recommend them!

Outstanding work! We had 7 large trees cut down and hauled away by Woodchuckers. They worked as a team and were extremely safe while taking down the trees. No mess was left behind and our property was left better than they found it. Very professional and polite! 10 outta 10 would highly recommend!

Outstanding! We couldn't be more impressed with the exceptional service provided by Woodchuckers. In just a couple of hours, the crew removed eight downed trees from our property. Not only did they complete the agreed-upon work, but they also went the extra mile by cleaning up additional debris we hadn't even mentioned. The cost for their services was surprisingly reasonable. Based on this outstanding experience, Woodchuckers will be our go-to company for any future tree work.

The Woodchucker team did a great job. They cut down 5 big trees (over 80 feet tall) and some were near our house. They were all very nice and friendly and they all worked very hard. There was no down time for any of them. I would definitely recommend them.

They came, they saw, they chopped them down, they took them away. I’m glad my expectations met reality. Sometimes you hear horror stories about tree removal but using them was pretty seamless. The quote was reasonable, they communicated effectively, they worked quickly and they cared about not making a mess of my yard- all things I appreciated.

Devin and Crew were Awesome ! Had three estimates, WoodChuckers was best! We had about 20 trees and their stumps removed. Left me a nice pile of woodchips on request. They even hauled out 3 or 4 already downed trees!

Great experience with Devin & crew! Price was fair, work was very quick, I loved seeing the younger team members working hard. They even cleaned up the property and street, which was very boy scout of them. My two year old son loved seeing all the rigs, and everyone was polite. Will be using again!

Would checkers did an excellent job! They were able to come out within a week and gave us a very fair price but the thing that we’re most impressed with is that they didn’t mess up our yard and cleaned up everything afterwards. They are so good to work with that we would recommend them to everyone! Great experience!
