Haven’t had to call a plumber in quiet some time. 2 men worked hard for 2 hours to find a pluggage in main sewer line. Cost was $563.00 ??

The good reviews for this company cannot be trusted as they were made by people who moved to New Kent recently and have no idea how much things are supposed to cost. This company will charge you hundreds of dollars more than what it should cost and then will brag about it in front of other customers. Disgusting.

Myself and my family have been using this company for 15 plus years now and they have always done exceptional work. Not only that but the owner and the employees are always courteous, respectful and willing to answer any questions that the customer may have. I highly recommend using this company for any needs that they can assist in.

I have used this company for about 2 years but stopped using them earlier this year. They are severely OVERPRICED and strongly recommend that you clearly understand and get a written estimate on all work expected to be performed. Additionally their integrity is questionable, see previous reviews and they don’t cleanup (they left a mess in my basement and other work areas). CONSUMER BEWARE - Stay away from this company.

D & G came to my house to find a water leak. After giving my house a good once over no leak was found. I was promised that they would come back out if my water bills continued to increase, which they have. Since the first visit I have been getting a complete run around. They schedule appointments to come back, but never show up. I am very disappointed in the lack of integrity shown.

D&G Plumbing is the bomb we were extremely happy that somebody referred us to them, we will certainly pay it forward and refer others. They were very prompt professional and friendly & were able to answer any and all questions on the weekend and even late at night we were very pleased!!!

Going from noticing a broken water heater to having it fixed in 2 hours. I called Gene, I assume he's the G in the company name, at 7:30 AM about water heater issues. He was at my place at 8:15 AM, gave me the options I have, no up-sells, no gimmicks, just what I asked for. We made a 2 PM appointment for the water heater swap, he was there on time, took him and his helper 1hr. Done, no mess, but hot water!

No estimate given. No explanation that drywall had to be cut open and left open. No receipt given. Actual workers were very nice and did a great job. 625 dollars for 2 hours. I called 2 other plumbers and they quoted 425 and 440 for the job. This is partially my fault for not asking before the work was done. I left myself open for it. I am remodeling my whole house and I do everything except the plumbing work, which I need a lot of but I will not be calling these guys. They are nice enough people and did give me 50 dollars off for being a new customer but I had to complain to get that. They are way overpriced.

My water heater started to leak, I called several companies but d and g was the first to respond. They told me they could install it the next day, so I was pleased about that. He called the next morning and said he was picking the water heater up at Ferguson and would be there around noon., I took it upon my self to remove the other water heater thinking maybe I would save some money. They arrived right on time and when they pulled the water heater out, it had Home Depot on the box, they were there about an hour installing the water heater, and handed me a bill of over 1700.00. To my amazement, when they left, I looked up the water heater on Home Depot’s website, 639.00 they charged me 1100 dollars labor for under an hours work. I don’t mind people making money, but I will be installing the next one myself.

Love these guys, they do great work and are honest. If you have a plumbing problem they come quickly and will often come right away if you have an emergency. I've used them on several occasions. I have an old house and recently I had a problem with my sump system leaking water into my yard and endangering my home's foundation and they came to my house the very next day to analyze the problem. They explained the situation very clearly and gave me several options to go about fixing it and clearly explained the costs involved in each option. They've always done great work for me and their prices are very fair. I can't say enough nice things about this company and its people. ~ Terry in Quinton

Poor communication and very high on parts and labor. I had the pressure tank and fittings installed. Final bill $1500. They were here for 1 hour for installation. Parts $800. Labor $700. Very disappointed and would not recommend.
