Upon initial contact, I was pleased with not having to pay a fee for them to come out and give a quote. They arrived on time which was appreciated but unfortunately the positives end there. We had them out to replace a garbage disposal and inspect a leak. They indicated the leak was because there was no gasket installed between the faucet and the sink and that the faucet would need to be replaced (despite being only 3 mos old, they said they could not just seal/caulk it). The cost they gave to replace the faucet and disposal was $1500. Since this was for a rental property and we didn't want to inconvenience our tenant further or have to take more time out of our schedule to get the issue resolved we agreed to the work. I followed up with Reid (whom I presume is the owner) once the work was completed and his attitude was less than professional. Shortly after I hung up with him, he sent me a long text message that further demonstrated how unprofessional he was.

Upon seeing owner respond to my review: A Hunter Bay faucet, at Home Depot is approximately $100-$150, a 1/2 hp garbage disposal is about $150, so assuming $300 in parts and even a 50% markup...$450 in parts leaving $1050 for 3 hours worth of work, half of which was your people going to purchase the parts. We agreed, yes, but you charged $525 for your people to go to shopping at Home Depot.

They recently installed an in-wall water supply valve with access port and a bathtub shower faucet assembly in my main bedroom bathroom. They performed the project fast and flawlessly. I cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism and expertise. I would wholeheartedly recommend After Hours Home Improvement LLC to anyone looking for reliable and skilled professionals for their home improvement needs.

After Hours Home Improvement was the best I have ever seen in how they handled our situation. Reid and his team(Walter, Jose, & Manuel) were extremely patient with us during our difficulties we encountered because of a mistake on our part.

They changed the entire setup of the plumbing that was done wrong under our kitchen sink, and repaired the wall behind sink exhibiting their expertise!!! We are extremely happy to have asked their company to do the job!!!

7/25 I had a 40 gallon Rheem electric water heater installed in my condo by After Hours Home Improvement. Upon completion, I received an non itemized invoice in the amount of $2,575. I called to complain about the charges and inquire why the invoice was not itemized. I spoke with a person named Reid and he told me that was the way they billed and sent out their invoices. I will never use this company ever again and will inform my fellow condominium owners of my dissatisfaction with this company; they all have 40 gallon electric water heaters.

Hiring After Hours home improvement has been the greatest experience I have had working with a contractor. The owner Reid is incredibly knowledgeable, extremely communicative, tremendously trustworthy and honorable trustworthiness. I am putting my home on market and the first thing I told Reid was that I was looking to put my house on sale and hope to receive near top dollar and we toured the whole house highlighting issues from past contractors and he gave me options that ranged from low cost to higher costs , certainties and uncertainties and everything in between. He ended up doing a lot of work and his men were trustworthy knowledgeable and great to work with. He spent time educating me on certain aspects of home ownership, maintenance and repair and did it all with a smile. I’ve attached photos of their work. Oscar is the best contractor that I have ever had. He is professional and knowledgeable. Quality service and very responsive to the customer's needs. Oscar transformed my older home into a new one. New paint, electrical work, ceiling fans, outlets, and recessed lights All work was done in a timely manner. I highly recommend Oscar.

This is the best painting/contracting service I have ever used. Oscar, the owner, is fabulous. He is there to please and does exactly that. He started out painting my house for a very reasonable price and has moved on to other home improvements such as widening a door, building a cabinet, installing appliances, electrical work and other. He can do anything! Best of all, he has the most pleasing personality and is extremely reliable. I can not say enough good things about this company.

We hired this contractor to renovate two bathrooms. While communication was polite and professional, the workmanship and follow-through were deeply disappointing.

Shortly after completion, the shower drain in one bathroom leaked when we first used it. When we contacted him for a resolution, we were given multiple explanations (old grout, existing rough-in issues). However, a licensed plumber later confirmed the drain was never properly connected during the renovation.

Despite multiple requests for him to return and correct the problem, he stated it would be an additional charge because he does not believe he is responsible. Six months later, after spending $15,000 on this bathroom, we still cannot use the shower due to these defects. We expected professional verification of basic plumbing function before the job was considered complete. We hope he will reconsider and make this right.

I definitely recommend using Oscar for any painting jobs you may need done. He provided a prompt response to getting an estimate, reasonable price, and quick service to get the job completed and done very well. He was very professional and did a wonderful job painting the exterior of our home with care. If you need any paint work done you should give him a call.

We had windows replaced by this company. Made a mistake with the contract and the order that he admitted and then charged us $900 for his mistake which we foolishly paid. Then, they installed a defective transom window (seal was gone) and when reported tried to charge us labor to replace it. I turned the company into the attorney general and he responded with lies which I had documentation to refute. He would not take responsibility for the mistakes he made or for the fact that his installer put in a defective window.

We hired Stronghold Improvement to replace 40 windows in our home. The crew that removed the old and installed the new were awesome. They worked through some nasty weather and got the job completed earlier than planned. They went the extra mile and fixed some damage they found while removing the old windows that they didnt have to. Cant say enough good things about Stronghold, Craig and his crew. We will be hiring Stronghold Improvement to replace our deck in the spring and add an addition. The crew at Stronghold Improvement is just really good!

Craig and his crew including Darwin, Elvis and others were very easy to work with. We started with one idea and it quickly expanded and changed as we went along. The crew and Craig would patiently explain the work and ask for our input as they went along. The work itself was meticulously done and we are very happy with the result.

Stronghold built an absolutely beautiful 3-season room for us, as well as replaced all of our siding and 3 doors. We could not be happier with the results or the overall experience. The owner was personally on site every day and responded to each and every question/concern we had during the project. The installers are so great as well. Not only HIGHLY skilled, but also just genuinely good guys. We received multiple quotes and Stronghold definitely was not the cheapest on the pricing spectrum, but they were nowhere near the most expensive either. But the quality and overall experience was WELL worth the money. We have already recommended Stronghold to multiple friends and family members!

Craig, Darwin, Elvis and the rest of the crew are true professionals. They show up on time ready to work. At the end of each day, they cleaned up the work area before leaving. I was kept informed about what they were doing. If there was more than one way to do something, they asked for my preference on how I wanted it done. In the end, I have a beautiful house that looks just like I imagined it. In addition, they replaced a rotten deck support post and added an outdoor GFI electrical outlet. These were add-ons after the siding contract had been signed. Craig, the owner of the company, was extremely fair and easy to work with. He stayed in contact with me throughout the project. Even after the job was done he came back to make sure I was satisfied. I would wholeheartedly recommend Stronghold Improvements to anyone looking for a trustworthy, professional contractor.

"""48 hour return policy""" for appliance. Wow. Got a new washer from Home Depot. Didn't need to wash my cloth 3 day after. Found out brand new washer didn't work. Service call to manufacturer -ONE WEEK-- Found defective motor. Order Parts--ONE WEEK--. Part on back order. NO WASHING

I purchased cabinets through Home Depot. I had to change consultants twice due to unprofessionalism. After providing perfect measurements to the designer, we were inundated by a couple errors. The most egregious being a miscalculation on a counter top extension. The designer provided with those dimensions based on the dimensions of the space and cabinet piece. Only the designer knew the cabinet dimension so I relied on her to provide accurate numbers. The stone was cut too wide based on the dimensions provided. The Home Depot store manager insisted that they are not liable for this mistake since Home services were not used to install everything and I even got the response that I did not provide our existing counter top numbers. A bold-faced lie. We also had a cabinet that was too wide. In addition to the failures by Home Depot, we had numerous quality issues with American Woodmark cabinets. Their customer service and representative response was deplorable. Back and forth trying to get them to replace flawed or damaged pieces. Home Depot has to initiate everything with Woodmark which they failed at miserably. We spent around $12,000 at Home Depot in the past 3 months and feel very dissatisfied. Makes me want to boycott them and shop at their competitor even though they are much farther away. My suggestion to anyone looking to buy a kitchen. Look to a professional kitchen and bath company as you will potentially run into problems with Home Depot.

I could not have ben more pleased. They did everything they said they would do and more. Easy to work with and took pride in their service.

They were hired to reduce sound. They put an insulation in that made the sound worse. They gave no recourse on how to fix the problem. So I paid them for a service that did not work. Additionally they left the job site a mess. Dust everywhere, holes that were spackled. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. Save your time and money.
