Becker was one of my sub-prime contractors on a large basement remodel. They were best sub we had on the project: most punctual, direct communication, quality work, and prompt to handle change orders from our general contract.

This is the second time I have used Becker Electric; this time for outdoor lighting and apond pump electrical outlet, and once again, completely satisfied. Professional, on time, explains equipment installed, clean up, etc. Scott and Todd are exemplary employees!

Had them fix a few things at my home several years ago and they did a nice job at a reasonable price. Called them back for another job about 3 years ago and it was wildly overpriced and we flat out couldn’t afford it so I went with another contractor. Called them again recently to see about another small job and the lady who answered the phone said we were essentially blacklisted in their system because we had turned them down for a job in the past due to price, and then she hung up. Could not have been ruder.

It’s America and they have a right to turn down job offers - but they should be embarrassed and definitely shouldn’t be considered a “community oriented company.”

I will be going out of my way to ensure nobody I know ever uses them

I've had Becker Electric fix some issues in my house multiple times and they always do a quick, professional job for a reasonable price. They'll continue to be my first call for all electrical needs.

Newbie homeowner here... I accidentally triggered the circuit breaker in my house during a washer and dryer installation. It seemed as if the wall outlet was broken and possibly needed to be replaced. Steve came out shortly after I called and kindly explained to me that I was not actually turning the outlet on and off via the circuit breaker. This was a relief to hear since I was expecting a descent bill for the work. Well, not only did Steve tell me I was incorrectly flipping the on/off switch, he didn’t charge me a wild fee for coming out. I’m going to be doing more electric work in the new future and Becker has won me as a customer. 10/10 would recommend to friends

Becker is the best! We have used them for many years with only good results. One time we tried another electrician affiliated with a contractor doing some other work for us. Big mistake. When we called Becker to fix the mess we told them we would never allow any other electrician on our property. Friendly. Professional. Courteous and clean. Oh, and excellent work too. What more could you ask for?

I've used Becker for years at my current home. They are responsive, professional, on time and have fair prices..not the lowest but they make my life easier and they do quality work. I continue to recommend them.

I have used Becker on three occasions and have always been completely satisfied with their service. Linda is friendly, efficient, and accommodating whenever I book appointments with her. Today Sy and Brian installed two pendant lights, a hall entry fixture, dimmer switches, and bathroom exhaust fan timer switches. The work was done quickly and competently and they were in and out in less than an hour. Sy and Brian are very pleasant and cleaned up meticulously before they left. They are the same team that installed recess lighting in my living room. I would not hesitate to have them back for any work I need done in the future. Steve has also done work in my home and he was wonderful as well. Becker deserves 5***** and will continue to be my go-to company.

My experience with Becker Electric was perfect. Two electricians (master and apprentice, I assume) showed up on time and installed a new electrical outlet and reconnected power to two existing outlets. The installation required running new wiring from the attic and cutting a hole in the wall. The carpentry was tidy and professional. They figured out why power wasn't running to the two outlets (some electrical malpractice that happened before we bought our house) and ran new wires. They cleaned up after their work. And did it all in about two hours.

Had some very dodgy work by a prior owner cause issues in the basement. Got multiple quotes, Becker was in the middle, but they found several issues (open splices, odd switch behavior) that I had missed.

When they came out they found some very dodgy things (lamp cords carrying load in the walls, grounds cut off, a ground carrying current, and an extension cord cannibalized and wires into the wall).

They fixed it all, were reasonable and communicated clearly. Came in slightly over estimate (with my approval) to fix those hidden conditions. Would use again in a heartbeat.

Electricians arrived on time and did a fabulous job. Hired them to install 5 light fixtures and 3 dimmers. Foyer chandelier is two stories high and Staircase pendant light 12 ft high. Also installed dining room chandelier and two semi flush hall lights. They helped me determine height and cleaned up area nicely. Highly recommend!

Amazing. I've used Becker for years for all electric needs for our home. Today, they ran a new electric line between a ceiling fixture and its wall switch in our kitchen. For running new circuits or wires in walls or ceilings, Becker's electricians are like magicians--they find ways to run the lines in finished homes with no to surprisingly little damage to the drywall. I truly don't know how they do it. Years ago, we had another company do similar work and the other company cut large holes in the ceiling about every 2 feet between the switch and ceiling light fixture. But somehow, Becker always finds a way of avoiding damage to the home. Today, they also installed new outdoor outlets and again, they do it in a way that looks great and works perfectly. They also do things better, faster, and seemingly easier than I imagined it would be. They're friendly, professional, prompt, and reasonably priced. I strongly recommend them.

After a stressful week dealing with a handyman who supposedly repaired my electrical issue, I called Electrician Springfield VA to help with my refrigerator, AC, and my house power that was out.

They answered immediately, gave me an affordable quote and when they arrived they also gave us honest advice for new lighting fixtures we were also thinking about. We will use these electrical contractors and I recommend their work to anyone in northern Virginia.

Cemal recently spent 2 days doing several upgrade projects throughout our home and on our main panel, including moving wiring and adding new outlets, installing recessed ceiling light where there had been none before, transforming old hot halogen lighting in our kitchen to LED, and upgrading our GFCI breakers. His work is outstanding! Cemal is not only a master electrician, but also a kind person. He was wonderful with our 3-year-old son and was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. I highly recommend him for any electrical project!
