We have used Able Plumbing for about 20 years, Rob, the owner has always been great providing prompt and courteous service.

Excellent Service!!!! Able Plumbing has been to my house several times over the past several years and I could not be happier with their service. They have always been willing to squeeze us in to their very busy schedule, even though you can tell they are very busy. Rob and his team have always gone the extra mile to take care of us and are always responsive no matter what the issue. Today they rushed over to fix my shower and were here within an hour of our call. Once, we had a major leak in our basement when a pipe froze and they were here first thing in the morning. Another time I called them to find a leak when water stains started to show through the drywall. Every time we have called on them they have been responsive, polite, and professional. I have never had to call them back on any work they have done and they are always willing to discuss any concern I have. In Northern Virginia, where it is so hard to find reliable service, I have come to depend on them.

The owner came my house and completed the plumbing work fast. He was professional and kind. Able's price for plumbing is the best in Fairfax County. My neighbor referred this company, and I will refer this amazing company to others. Able's Plumbing saves times and money, giving peace of mind, knowing the job will be done correctly, at an amazing price, and knowing the work will last. Thank you

I don't normally leave reviews, but others need to be warned. We used this company before without any issues - Found them on the old Angie's List - they came highly recommended. However, they have gone down hill.

Most businesses these days send you a text or email to confirm an appointment with specific details (date, time, purpose of visit), but not Able Plumbing. They call you during rush hour the day before, while you are on a noisy train, and tell you they will be there the next day, but without detailing the time. Our appointment was for December 3rd between 8 am and 12 noon, because we have holiday plans, getting together with friends and family, both in the afternoon and evening - we have a busy schedule this time of year.

I can't believe I set an alarm on a Saturday to get up early to be ready for the plumber by 8am! We waited and waited until shortly after noon. We tried calling twice and were hung-up on!! What is that all about??. They called back to tell us that we were on the schedule for not 8-12 or 10-2, but 12 to 4!!! Are you kidding me!!!! Why didn't you say something about moving our appointment to a later time slot last night when you called to confirm??? Poorest customer service and communication - DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER!!!

Had Able Plumbing out to fix three toilets. Rob (the owner) came out, he was a very nice polite man who explained everything as he was doing the work. He is honest and didn’t try to sell me on anything that didn’t need doing! He is a small local business that has been here for 30 yrs. I thought I might have an issue with the third toilet, but he said it was fine; who does that in this day of “get every cent you can!” Will definitely use him again with any plumbing problem. The lady that answers the phone is lovely too, she was so nice & answered all my questions, a pleasure to deal with.

I'm very grateful to Rob for being honest and open about the installation process and all of the fees that would be part of the process. I haven't gotten any work done by them, YET, but his honest open approach was very much appreciated and he was very responsive to my questions. Also not very many business owners are comfortable losing business to a warranty company. Rob was very candid and not pushy about giving me a long list of reasons of why I should use them instead of my warranty company. Keep up the good work Rob, because you have definitely earned my trust and I will be saving your number to give you all a call in case I need help with future services or potentially replacing our hot water heater.

This review is about customer service over the phone. We have not yet had Able Plumbing come out and work for us. I called Able Plumbing at about 8:20am regarding a leaky bathroom faucet. The reception/dispatcher is awesome. Fast, efficient, and, actually, very funny and with great personality. She had someone ready to go, literally, in five minutes. Other companies I called either stopped working on condos and wouldn't come out, or were booked up for days. My spouse decided to let the building handyman give it a shot first (I'm not comfortable about this, but let's keep peace in the family and agree to let him try.) I called back to Able, spoke with Henry, and told him the situation. He was respectful, polite, and ready to come out if the situation changed. If their workmanship is anything like their customer service, I will be very happy with the outcome. I will definitely call them for plumbing work the next time a problem arises.

Had a high water bill so I called Fairfax Water who came out and confirmed I had a leak. Able Plumbing was recommended on Nextdoor so after doing some internet searches I called them.

They answered my call immediately and came the next day. Rob gave me some suggestions on how to find the leak and I was able to rule out the possibility of a water main leak before he showed up saving time and money.

Rob found I had a leaky toilet and repaired it quickly and for a reasonable price. So refreshing to find a honest helpful reliable plumber for a good price.

We have used Able Plumbing for our plumbing needs for over 10 years. They are a reliable, fair, and trustworthy plumbing team. Rob and Nelson have done many plumbing projects in our house from small to large including a major upgrade to our main line bathroom plumbing. If you are looking for a quality plumber with expertise, we highly recommend Able Plumbing.

Called for a fix to a leak behind the wall of my upstairs bathroom. Rob (owner) came out and cut through my drywall to expose multiple leaks coming from several pipes. He was able to replace all the bad pipes and explain in detail everything he was going to do beforehand. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. This company has sent over 3 different technicians and they have all been great (changing pipes, toilet installation, and changing water pressure regulator) I will continue to call them in the future for my plumbing needs. I always recommend them to anyone I know.

Rob, the owner of Able Plumbing, came over to my house to give me an estimate for some outdoor water main work. The job requires some special underground boring equipment that his company does not use. Rob spent almost an hour discussing the job with me and gave me very detailed information about what the job requires. He provided this info on his own time because he is proud of his trade and is just a very friendly & honest person. I will be using his company for any future plumbing needs.

Not only did my weekend emergency get taken care of quickly and professionally, Rob was also kind, personable, and made the entire fiasco way less stressful. Military discount on top of it was an added surprise! Efficient and thorough, I'm not calling anyone else!

Copper pipe puncture in basement lead to collapsed ceiling, wet carpet. Nelson came within two hours of my call for help. He was very professional and fixed promptly. I'll be using Able Plumbing for the next plumbing job. Five stars. Oh, and a reasonable price, too.

Actually, there aren't enough stars for Able Plumbing. Rob and Nelson are absolutely honest and knowledgeable professionals who are able to solve your plumbing problems in short order. They are responsive, dependable, and focussed on superb customer service. They are so respectful of your home. We have used Able Plumbing for all our plumbing needs FOR DECADES.
