Reviews of local pros in Springfield, Virginia

Do not use this company! He quoted me a price of $2800.00 then said I misunderstood him and raised the price to $3900. Then had the nerve to tell me that my other stumps were extra. Make sure you get everything in writing from this company. I made the mistake of not getting it in writing because he was recommended by my neighbor who is a friend of his. He will lose business because I had several referrals lined up.

JJ Tree Experts cut down a dead tree in my yard for a great price and in a professional manner. I decided to keep the wood which they broke down and stacked neatly in my yard. I would hire them again and highly suggest them to others!

Jose and his crew finally completed their job perfectly after long delays caused by weather.
Although we had to overcome some misunderstandings about the scope of job, I am now fully satisfied with their low price and high quality. I would like to recommend his team for any tree jobs in Northern Virginia area.

Jose and his team removed 5 trees on my property and grinded down the stumps completely. They were on time, quick, and kept the property clean during and after they completed the job. They are very hard working and take pride in their work. I highly recommend them for all tree services!

Recommended, they have cut down 5 trees in my house and the work is 5 stars!! The best 👍🏽

Jose and his team work incredibly hard, are trustworthy and have competitive pricing. They removed a large fallen tree on a hillside for us and multiple more trees on our future list. We definitely use them again for tree removal!

They were great! We had them trim a giant maple in our front yard that overhang the street, several vehicles, powerlines, and our house. It was constantly losing limbs and branches and had damaged two cars. They arrived on time, set mats out so they didn’t ruin my yard, trimmed all of the dead branches, and took all of the debris away. It was impressive how fast they completed the trimming. In several storms since the trimming, we have not lost any branches, so the pruning they did was perfect. I would highly recommend them if you need tree trimming in the northern Virginia area.

Phenomenal work done, with excellent communication!

We had to have a very large (about 100 ft tall), old, and beloved poplar removed from our backyard because the heartwood had died and the tree was in its way out, and we were concerned about it falling. We sent an online request for a quote, and that same day Green Vista reached out to arrange a free consultation. Nico, the arborist who came out, was friendly and clear in what to expect as far as labor and costs, and points of possible concern as far as hauling away the wood, as well as suggestions on when would be safe to potential plant a new tree in the future. The crew that came out later worked quickly and diligently to take the tree down with no damage to our home or property. Now we just need some new trees to come in!

We would absolutely recommend Green Vista to anyone needing a tree taken out!

As a new homeowner, I was initially overwhelmed by the state of the trees on my property. I had a few companies come out to give me quotes, before going with Green Vista Tree Care. Their team was professional and efficient from start to finish. They expertly assessed my needs, offering clear advice and executing the trimming and removal process flawlessly. I was particularly impressed with their commitment to safety and the immaculate clean-up they performed. I wholeheartedly recommend Green Vista to any homeowner seeking top-notch tree services.

Green Vista was great! Jason was knowledgeable, and helpful with our decision making. Once we decided it was time to remove our old oak, he accommodated our schedule which was super helpful. Jose and the removal team were on time, friendly, professional, efficient and also accommodating as far as setting aside some of the tree that we wanted to keep for our own use. I would strongly recommend Green Vista for tree removal.

The team at Green Vista has done work at my home multiple times and each time they are professional, honest and do quality work. I know them to be honest because some they only do what is necessary to upkeep my trees and never try to upsell me. They are responsive and efficient. Highly recommend them for all your outdoor landscaping needs.

Nico and his crew were great! Outstanding coordination and teamwork. Pictures are worth 1000 words.

What a whirlwind the last 48 hours has been. The NOVA area has experienced gale force winds which means down power lines and trees. Nobody wants to experience a tree falling on their home (god forbid) or any other natural disasters. When you do need a professional tree removal service, please call Green Vista Tree Care. Within 24 hours from my initial call (after hours) until trucks were in my driveway hailing off several large trees I was treated like “top priority.” The CEO, Daniel Foster was first on scene to see the situation firsthand and his crew followed with lightening speed to get three large trees taken down with such precision. The level of professionalism, courtesy and respect that was given to me was something that I will never forget. I received a follow up call from “Stephanie” to make sure that my appointment went planned as scheduled. If you find yourself in need of tree removal 24/7/365 the folks at Green Vista Tree Care should be your first, and last call. Stay safe!

I can’t recommend Green Vista Tree Service enough! I had a phenomenal experience from start to finish. We had a huge tree that was dying near our house that needed to be taken down before it was too late. The price was very reasonable while the service and expertise were unmatched. We’ll use them for any future projects without hesitation.

I've used Big Steve's Tree Care several times. What a great company. Today, Julio and crew took care of damage caused by the recent wind storms (May 2021) and a stump removal. The guys that arrived were polite, professional, and communicated what was going on. AND they cleaned up (didn't leave wood chips all over the driveway!). I appreciate great service and that's what Big Steve's delivered.

Big Steve's Tree Care removed 2 large oak trees and trimmed other trees. Donald and his team were terrific. They arrived on time, walked through the estimate, and got to work. They did an excellent job and were very respectful of the special conditions in my yard. I highly recommend Big Steve's Tree Care for all your tree needs.

We’ve used Big Steve’s twice since buying our dream property last year. We have many huge trees and initially needed one dead tree removed & cleaning up several more. The 4 man crew had a bucket truck but used climbing for most of the trees. The workers were very skilled, pleasant, and respectful of our property. They’re also amazing to watch - they’re at home up in the trees. The price was very fair & Steve is a pleasure to deal with. He is a local, hands on business owner & very knowledgeable. When another tree that posed a risk didn’t look good this spring, we knew who to call. As a tree lover, I appreciate that Steve puts tree health first and is truly interested in getting a good result. Very happy to have found Big Steve’s & highly recommend!

We’ve had Big Steve’s Tree Care take care of many of our trees and they are always a reasonable, competitive price, and get the job done on time and clean up nicely. I would definitely recommend Big Steve’s if you need tree work done on your proper!

Big Steve’s Tree Care continues to go above and beyond with their customer service. They are prompt to get their free estimate to you, and the scheduling/communication is very easy. The crew that comes to fulfill the job is thorough and the head crew leader, Donald, makes sure the job is completed well. They are the only tree service we will use for our home. Great company!

Big Steve is my entire neighborhood’s go-to service for tree and shrub care. They listen closely to what I want, clean up brilliantly and are easy to schedule with. I couldn’t keep my landscape under control without them, and don’t want to try.

I used Big Steve's for leaf removal. The team did an excellent job. The front and back yard was completely cleaned up to include the deck and backdoor basement entrance. They also cleaned up and took away all twigs and fallen branches. Overall, the team did an excellent job. I will definitely hire them again.
