Tree reviews in Stafford, Virginia

Diaz Tree service did an amazing job removing very large trees from my property, including grinding out the stumps. Larry is always a pleasure to work with, very professional, and performs miracles removing massive trees next to fences and other landscaping without causing any damage! Always impressed! We have hired this company twice already and we plan to use them for any future tree work we need. Thank you, Larry!!

Larry and his team at Diaz tree service delivered professional and outstanding service. Larry went above and beyond to ensure our expectations were not only met but exceeded, completing the job promptly. We highly recommend Diaz tree service, our experience was excellent and their pricing is reasonable. Best regards

This is my second time using Diaz Tree Services, and I will continue to be a repeat customer due to their unrivaled customer service. Larry contacted me within minutes of my online inquiry and promptly came out, on a weekend in the rain, to discuss the service request for the removal of stumps of varying size, trimming of one tree, and removal of two other trees. He provided an honest assessment on the health of other trees so that I did not have to pay for unnecessary work. He promptly provided a broken-down estimate in advance of the work and was able to schedule the work for soon after. Trees were close to fences and/or irreplaceable, early-1900s out-buildings, but work was flawlessly executed. I added a number of stumps between the initial walk-through and the day of the service, so the stump removal count totaled around 25, but they accepted the additional work without issue and tirelessly worked through the heat. They also eagerly cut and moved an extra downed tree for me that was blocking my path through the woods and removed additional small stumps seen in the paddock, beyond what I had marked/requested, without charging extra. Larry and team are my go-to for all tree services. Thank you!

I have used Diaz tree service on several occasions Recently I had a large dead tree that was over my deck and needed to be removed. Larry came out the same day and gave my a good price and several days later removed the tree . It was a very professional job as was the time before. I highly recommend Larry and the company.

I used Diaz Tree Services to remove a tree very close to my house and garage. Larry and his crew did a fantastic job removing the tree limb by limb with almost surgical precision. It was cool to watch! They also cleaned everything up before they left. First impressions are important. Larry responded promptly to my inquiry, was polite, professional, and through our interactions struck me as a really nice person. He’s a great communicator! Along with customer service, more than fair pricing, and the reasons stated above, this is a company I will continue to support. Thanks guys!

He was prompt to swing by the house and provide both a time the job should take and the cost. He was spot on for the time it took. His team did a great job, I would recommend them to anyone.

We recieved excellent tree removal work from Diaz Tree Service. I contacted them for a large dead tree in my yard.
Mr Diaz and his crew were on time, organized and took precautions around my personal property to take down the tree. I will use them again.

Outstanding Service from Diaz Tree Service!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Larry Diaz, the owner of Diaz Tree Service, and I am beyond impressed with the exceptional job he and his team did. From the moment Larry arrived, he was extremely friendly, personable, and professional, making the whole experience a breeze.

The crew trimmed a 15-foot-tall Holly, two crape myrtles, a mid-sized oak, and a maple tree that was growing dangerously close to my house. They were thorough, efficient, and left my yard looking fantastic. All the wood was chipped and hauled away, leaving the space clean and tidy, which was a huge plus!

The price was fair for the amount of work done, and the quality of service was outstanding. I highly recommend Diaz Tree Service to anyone in need of tree care. Larry and his team are true professionals, and I will definitely be using them again in the future!

Before I share…. This is NOT a paid review just one from an extremely satisfied customer.
After searching my area for about 2 weeks for tree cutting services, I came across Diaz Tree Services. Spoke to Larry set a date for him to come by. He was on time, and met me with a firm handshake was friendly and very knowledgeable. His demeanor and detail to his craft was obvious from the start. If you need a GREAT not good company to service you in this area don’t even waste your time with those others.

I don’t do reviews ever, but in this day and age if you find someone who cares about what they do and will be fair to you with price comparisons you have to give them props!!

I had several trees that needed trimming and two in my back yard that needed to be removed. Diaz came out to see what I wanted done and provided great advice on how to maintain my trees while also giving them a very nice look. The quote for the work was great. He completed the work very well, clean up was great and I am very happy with the work that was completed. This company was my 2nd quote and I knew the minute Larry showed up to provide the quote that I didn't need anyone else! I had 3 large trees removed and a large pile of brush and wood. Great demeanor, professional, honest, fair priced, punctual, and phenomenal communication throughout. I never had to wonder what was happening when from the first quote to the final payment. Truly a great company and great work! My tree place from now on.

I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Diaz Tree Svc. We were in urgent need of a tree removal in our yard and patio. I was responded to quickly, and more importantly, professionally and courteously. Larry scoped out the size of the job (very large) and literally on a Friday afternoon said he would get us in before Sunday evening.
He kept in contact with us until he appeared first thing Sunday morning and cleared the huge tree from behind our house and in our yard. By Sunday afternoon not only was everything cleared away but they were able to repair and paint the badly shattered fence.
This kind of service is RARE and I cannot recommend Diaz Tree Services highly enough!
Thank you so much Larry.

Diaz Tree Services did an excellent job. We have a Cherry tree and an Oak tree that needed trimming. We scheduled an estimate, and they came out the next day for the trimming. Diaz Tree Service gave us a great price and were professional every step of the way including clean up. We will use their services in the future.

I had five very large crepe myrtle trees that had never been trimmed, and Diaz Tree Service did an absolutely incredible job cutting them back properly. The trees look amazing now. Their price was more than fair—especially compared to other quotes I received—and the communication throughout the entire process was top-notch. I always knew what to expect and when. I’ll be using them exclusively from now on. Highly recommend!

I recently hired Diaz Tree Services for a tree removal job at my property, and I couldn’t be more impressed with their service. From the initial consultation to the completion of the job, they were professional, efficient, and truly knowledgeable. The team arrived on time and worked diligently to safely remove the large tree that had become a potential hazard. They took great care to minimize any disruption to the surrounding landscape and ensured everything was cleaned up perfectly once the job was done.

I highly recommend Diaz Tree Service's for anyone in need of tree removal services. They exceeded my expectations and delivered top-notch service. I’ll definitely be calling them again for any future tree care needs!

Contacted Larry, he called me within an hour, came out next day to give us a quote (and also educated us a bit on our situation), sent the estimate same day and was able to schedule us next day! Couldn’t be more pleased. Fair prices, good workers, top customer service. Thank you! Will turn to Diaz Tree Services for all future needs, no doubt.

We recently hired Diaz Tree Service to remove 13 large trees, including stumps, and trim five others. Larry responded almost immediately, provided a very fair price, and began work quickly. He and his team finished the job on time and were extremely professional and respectful of our property, leaving it as clean as they found it, with no evidence of the 13 trees that were once there. I can’t say enough about this company, and will certainly be using them for our next job!
