I called them and had a great first conversation with the mechanic, Bill. I pulled my boat in yesterday and John came walking out almost before I got it in park. He was all over the boat, as was Tom the owner, checking it out and giving me solid advice. They're installing a Minn Kota Riptide Terrova 80 with iPilot. I could not be happier. These guys are great. My problem is with my Minn Kota Talon. I'm trying to correct myself. They take the time to talk to you and help you through the problem to see if you can fix it. (They have, or can order any parts you need.) But they are always there to take care of it for you if you can't.

Great local shop for boat repair and upgrades. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Amazingly quick service. New Garmin 94SV installed in less than 3 hours. In at 0900 out at 1300!

Great place to take your boat when you need to upgrade/install electronics, power poles, trolling motor repair and install, they pretty much do it all. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Very down to earth and insightful to what you may need or want done. Highly recommend this place, you don't want to waste time anywhere else.

Was in a pinch on a Saturday when I lost my motorguide trolling motor remote control . Bass pro didn’t have any left ,so then I remembered seeing this company on Facebook. So I googled trolling motor repair and MOTORTECH was the result and then it clicked that had to be the same company . I got ready to call but low and behold I saw they closed at 12:00 . It was 11:30 I gave them a call anyhow and asked if they had on in stock and he checked I then explained to him that I live at the oceanfront in Virginia Beach and he gladly offered to take a credit card payment over the phone and leave for me in a undisclosed spot . I gave him a credit card number and thanked him and told him he saved the day of fishing . He was cool as a champ . Thanks again !! Brought my Riptide Ulterra here for some problems with stowing and deploying. MotorTech quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it under the Minn Kota Warranty.

Great people to handle any trolling motor problem. I have been dealing with them for over 15 years and they are always concern about your trolling motor problem. I have bought and had many services completed with great expectation with no problems. They are highly recommended by me.

Spoke to John on the phone about my Motorguide trolling motor. I explained what it was doing so he gave me some checks to do to see what parts have gone bad. He knew exactly what I needed. So getting parts I needed together he did me a good deal on the parts. I really appreciated that a lot. They are great to deal with.. If I need something else or any of my friends I'll certainly send them to these guys. I ordered my parts Thursday afternoon and I had them today on Monday and my trolling motor is now good to go. I may have a new motor in an old body but I'm surely not out 2200.00 for a new one.

Un satisfactory the customer service was beyond un satisfactory. I'm still trying to get in touch with the and left messages over 2 months ago.
Still no phone call a return from him and I call them every week and leave them a message. They're the only minnkota warranty people in the area.during covid I had to deal with them and dropped the same motor off 5 different times ...every time they claimed it was fixed. Finally the 5th one hour Drive one way i got someone to meet me and I proved without a shadow of a doubt they were wrong .which the whole time they claimedi was lying ..n i prove them wrong . the son then proceeded to get rude while having to order my replacement motor ..

If you are looking for a electric motor or need repairs this is the place to go. I was looking for hand till electric motor to back up the one i have. They had several used ones that he showed me then we looked at the new ones. Prices where in line with big box stores. He gladly answered all my questions.

If you need a trolling motor, or need one repaired, this is THE place in this area to get expert sales and service. I have purchased 2 trolling motors there, and was happy that I had when each needed service after a mishap. They have other stuff like batteries, chargers, Power Poles, and other boat stuff too.
