Daveys handles all of my landscaping needs at the apartment complex I manage. Efficient , honest and kind company that I truly love doing weekly business with ! My properties curb appeal is amazing and I am grateful for all of their hard work.

I have never done business with this company don't even live in the same state but they call my phone every day told them they have the wrong number but now for a month they are still calling even when told time and time again it wouldn't happen just have to keep blocking!

Truck pulling trailer ran me off the road and they was laughing speed limit was 25 they were doing like 40 on a double line i will be reporting this to police. I just got home from work so I cant contact noone in the office... I have pictures to of the truck....

This company smashed a rock into my window and the management said if I sent them an invoice, they would reimburse me for my window. It's been a month & a half and I've received no compensation. I've tried contacting them on several occasions and every time they say they will reimburse me and I have gotten nothing. Horrible company. Dishonest.

I don't know about their service, but one of their drivers should be locked up for reckless driving. He almost caused a multi-car collision, then proceeded to driving erratically. I would never hire them simply because I would be afraid who they ran off the road trying to get to me and I wouldn't want that on my conscience. Truck #51 at approximately 3:45pm on March 25, 2016 exiting 64 at exit #291 in Chesapeake headed towards Elizabeth City. Get him off the road!

This is the company that has the contract for the military housing I live in. The grass is always uneven and looks uncut after they’ve come and this week they couldn’t be bothered to clean their mess and left a huge mess for me to deal with on my front porch as well as a random giant branch and a mess from then trimming the bush in front of my house. Thank you for giving this military family more to deal with

I live at oak lake apartments in Chesapeake and we use this company for landscaping and it has to be the worst of them all!!! They are very unprofessional and only use 2 to 3 ppl to do the whole property which is why there’s always problems!!! They leave grass uncut they never trim the bushes in front of my building!!! They refuse to blow the parking lot properly and pick up pine cones and straw!!! They also back up the drain on the road filling it with debris!!! I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use this company because they just don’t get the job done!!! Thank me later!!!

I live at a complex where Elizabeth River is contracted. I'm completely displeased with their service and I have NEVER, in my life, seen a landscaping company just neglect the fallen leaves for weeks and months. They clog the drain grates causing flooding in the parking lots and have been around so long they are rotting and decaying. Months ago, their negligence caused over $3000 worth of damage to my daughters car.

Update: 4/8/19 - Leave still here after 5 months. Today they cut grass for the first time of the season and cut right over the dead and decaying leaves!!! Unbelievable.

They do not come consistently. The common areas in our neighborhood are overgrown and it continues to be an issue. When they do come they don’t edge and they do not cut the grass low enough. They rush and even after they are finished the common areas still look bad.

These guys service my apartment complex, they tend to try and park their truck out of the way. My park space is normally empty because I park on the road so company doesn't have to walk so far when they visit. Anyway they parked in my spot, to keep their truck out of the road. I spoke with one of the guys about it saying I'd have company over in 20 minutes and asking if they could move it. He was very polite and dropped everything he was working on right then and there to move the truck. Considerate and adaptable, and I'm not even their direct customer. Thanks guys!

Their contracts aren't worth the paper they're written on. Last year, we signed and paid up front for lawn and garden services for a year. They came once or twice and then stopped. We had to call repeatedly and never received all of the services we paid for.
The owner was apologetic and promised a year's free service as compensation. Guess what? We have seen them only once this year. Repeated phone calls have resulted in more empty promises to show up with subsequent no shows.
This company services large apartment complexes and ignores small homeowners. The sad part is they did a very good job with a drainage system in our yard. They installed the drain pipes and made several visits afterwards to make sure it was working. It was the reason we wanted them for all of our landscaping needs...and the reason I gave them 2 stars instead of one.
I don't know what happened but I will never use them again and advise all homeowners to stay away from them. Your business isn't important to them. Their customer service stinks!

They fail to take accountability to the negligence of not cleaning up the branches and sticks left behind. I broke my foot due to their sloppiness and they were rude and far from helpful. If I didn’t live in the neighborhood who pays them for this service I’d never use them at all. There’s better out there. These people are completely unprofessional.

They were doing an amazing job at my apartment complex and then, I couldn’t get my car started. They did not hesitate to help give me a jumpstart, they are a genuine and kind group of hardworking men that take pride in their work. 10/10 recommend
