The garden is relatively small but great to relax. Very well maintained and has great spots for pictures.

The Japanese garden is in full swing during the Cherry Blossom festival! It's beautiful and very serene. A lovely place to relax and just walk around with headphones on for hours!

Miyazaki Japanese Garden is a charming space that conveys peace and harmony. The paths surrounded by greenery, koi ponds, and traditional bridges create a unique atmosphere for a slow walk. It’s an ideal place to meditate, read, or simply enjoy nature. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a calm and cultural spot in the city

This garden is reminiscent of the types of gardens cultivated at Buddhist temples in Japan. It's very beautiful, but surprisingly small. If you've seen the pictures, you've seen the whole garden. It is free, but probably not worth visiting if your drive would be longer than 20 or so minutes. On a warm day, this might be a nice place to come read a book.

A beautiful and well maintained garden. The water features are gorgeous and the water is clear. The garden area is mostly shaded which is a major plus in the summer. In addition, to the gardens there are trails to the right upon entering the park and they are also beautiful.

Beautiful garden! I wish I’d come maybe a week earlier as some of the flowering plants had started to die off (flowers on the ground) but was still beautiful! Small, but there were a few other small gardens around that were nice as well.

Garden is very small. That has a couple places to sit. It would be good for elderly or wheelchair users. I really thought it was beautiful. I liked reading what was donated by the Japanese. It's adorable. And has some good photo opportunities. You cannot take pets.

On the other side of the park is another park where I think you can take pets but not in the Japanese part. There is also a small boat tanical garden. And it is very pretty. I would come back here.

Don't expect to be here for hours, as I think if you were walking quickly you could probably do this little park in 15 minutes or less. But it's beautiful and you're seeing plants that you would not normally see because they are Japanese. And there's all of the Japanese construction. Like the front gate.

Small (1/2 acre?) and unexpected, this little garden offers some minor resemblance of gardens in Japan. We happened to stumble across it and there was seldoy any visitors. Which is fine adding to the zen feel. I was impressed with the maintenance of this garden, given its off beat location and locality. And yes,very authentic tatami wall.

Came out to the Cherry Blossom Festival today and the weather was absolutely perfect. Warm breeze, fresh air, petals blowing around in the air, it felt like a perfect day today. I took so many pictures. The park is a pretty ok size. It's about 3/4 of a mile long. There is plenty of roaming space for dogs ^_^ the park is pet friendly, although specifically for the Japanese garden there are no pets and bikes allowed 😅 The park was very clean and well organized and and the vegetation and park itself looked very well maintained ^_^

There is a tennis court and a hand ball court... very large children's jungle gym area... multiple spots to play cornhole... good distance for walking... there's a couple of fields they use for parking or just open space when events aren't going on... there's a beautiful walkway of cherry blossom trees that extends about the length of a quarter of a mile long ^_^ it was absolutely beautiful.

For the misleading size of this park, there is a good bit to do and it's a great park to go to! Also not far from the Boardwalk either, only a couple miles from the boardwalk in Virginia Beach ^_^

This was an absolute joy.I couldn't believe how beautiful it was, It will take your breathe away. The landscaping is done to perfection and the rare variety of different trees are so interesting. It has a really cute bridge to walk over to see the other things. Last but not least would have to be what looks like a log cabin shelter. It had to have been assembled by the best carpenters around, It is amazing.

We take long walks here. It's really peaceful. There are tennis courts if you are interested. We usually see families having picnic at the table area by the courts. There are plenty of trees for your kids to climb, if they're into that. There's also a fenced-in dog park.

Absolutely beautiful experience. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom. It is meticulously maintained. I wish someone would not have messed up the sand zen garden

This place was gorgeous! Small and quaint. Lovely picture spot. Went when the flowers were just starting to get into full bloom. My son, his dad, and I loved it!

This place is pretty cute! It's small, but I can't believe there's a Japanese garden around here. It's a great spot for a chill walk or a date, and perfect for snapping some pics. Super calm and relaxing!

A tranquil paradise I had no idea was here! The azaleas were in full bloom and so beautiful. This is one of my new favorite places. Can't wait to come back throughout Spring to watch the pollinator garden bloom. There are trails on the other side of the street that go through the woods, as well as sitting areas and other small gardens. The Japanese garden is located at the front of Red Wing Park, which has playgrounds, nice restrooms, a basketball court, a huge field, pickleball/tennis courts, sheltered picnic areas, grills, volleyball, and a dog park.

The Japanese garden is located in a large park, but in my opinion it is not worth visiting as a separate destination. We visited in winter, and there was no blooming at all. Without the flowers, the garden looks rather neglected and quite small.
If you are already walking around the park or visiting with children, it might be worth stopping by briefly. There is a nice playground and a barbecue area nearby, as well as plenty of space for walks.
However, the Japanese garden itself doesn’t really stand out and is only worth seeing in spring, when the trees are in bloom

This is the most professional, friendly and caring lawn service I've ever used. Its amazing what you get for a very modest price. A true all-American company. I think they are family owed too.

When the guys finished my neighbors yard they blew all the debris onto my yard. When I confronted them they just shrugged their shoulders and left. Not very professional.
